And that is that! Another win, another clean sheet for Real Madrid - 2-0 they win it.
90' +2
Loe heads Punal's cross behind but a corner is incorrectly given. Arribas heads the deep delivery back across goal but Ramos marshalls it behind. That will likely be that.
90' +1
Three minutes of injury time and Osasuna have a good free-kick position in Madrid's half...
89'
Arbeloa pings one out to Morata, who cuts inside and bends a shot towards the far post which is acrobatically caught by Riesgo.
88'
Casemiro enters the game and replaces Illarramendi.
Another late change for Madrid - Casemiro comes on for Illarramendi.
86'
An acrobatic clearance from Sergio Ramos. You can't blame him - he's had little to do. Betran then gets into a shooting position but opts to pass, and Madrid clear once more.
85'
Pepe gets in on the act this time, firing a shot not too far wide. The game looks well and truly over, in truth - Osasuna are struggling to make any impact in the final third, and Madrid seem content with their advantage.
83'
Marc Bertrán gets yellow.
A booking for substitute Bertan, who palmed off Ronaldo to stop him running away down the right. Modric tries a short routine with Marcelo but it doesn't quite come off.
81'
Álvaro Morata enters the game and replaces K. Benzema.
80'
Morata does indeed come in, in place of Benzema, who'll have to wait a little longer for his 100th Real Madrid goal.
Minute
Description
79'
Marc Bertrán enters the game and replaces Cejudo.
His future might be up in the air, but Alvaro Morata is poised to enter the fray...
76'
Modric and Bale combine but Arribas gets it clear. Torres race onto the clearance but Ramos tidies up and Madrid come again with Isco.
74'
Osasuna are trying to get back into proceedings here. Cejudo's cross is cleared and Riera picks up the rebound, but he loses it to Pepe and Madrid can counter.
71'
BALE - no! Benzema battles to win the ball in the area and pulls it back for Bale, who hits a shot against Ronaldo and it spins behind for a goal kick!
70'
Isco enters the game and replaces Jesé.
Ronaldo signals for Jese to be replaced, and Ancelotti duly obliges - Isco is on for the youngster, who can now rest up ahead of the weekend.
69'
Lovely skill from Bale as he skips his way into the area. The ball is scrambled away to Jese, who volleys over the bar and is now clutching his leg with cramp. No excuse for the miss, Jese!
68'
José García enters the game and replaces De las Cuevas.
67'
Another change for the visitors, as 16-year-old Jose Garcia replaces De Las Cuevas. What a great moment for the youngster.
66'
Arbeloa gets a luck escape there! Bale's corner is cleared and De Las Cuevas does everything to nick the ball off the last man for Madrid but a foul is eventually given for a shirt-pull.
65'
De Las Cuevas tries to relieve some pressure but he runs out of pitch on the right-hand side. The tie looks to be going very much in one direction at present.
62'
Jese and Marcelo link up brilliantly, the Brazilian clips the cross to the far post but Ronaldo and Benzema collide as they both leap for the ball. Madrid have stepped it up a gear.
61'
RONALDO AGAIN - wide! Modric puts it on a plate for Ronaldo with a lovely pass but the Ballon d'Or nominee pokes it wide! Surely this can't go on?
60'
Jesé has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
59'
GOOOAAAALLLLL! Jese makes it two! After Ronaldo missed a sitter, the Portuguese makes amends, prodding it to Jese to finish low from inside the area after Oier played a dreadful backpass straight to Benzema.
58'
Puñal enters the game and replaces F. Silva.
First change of the night as veteran Francisco Punal enters the fray.
57'
Great run from Jese as he drives for the byline but Arribas is across to block on the slide. He's performed well tonight at the heart of defence.
56'
Half a chance for Torres as Damia's deflected cross drops kindly for him but his volley...goes out for a throw. Hmm. Let's move on.
54'
BENZEMA - oh, poor finish! Great pass from Modric allows the Frenchman to run at goal from the left of the area but he slices it into the side-netting with his left foot. Not a great finish from the man on the brink of 100 Madrid goals.
52'
...And Ronaldo misses a great chance! Bale's corner finds Ronaldo in space but he gets under the header and it sails over from close range.
51'
Arbeloa forces a corner for the home side after being freed by Bale...
50'
Bale charges towards goal but Damia stops him. Madrid win it back and Bale bends it towards Benzema but the whistle has gone.
48'
Another Jese-Ronaldo one-two doesn't quite come off and Osasuna clear. Riera gets forward and crosses from the right but it's overhit and tame, in truth.
47'
Bale's cross is aimed at Benzema but he's penalised for a high foot.
46'
Second half is underway!
45'
No injury time so we finish bang on 45. Madrid have the lead thanks to Benzema's header but they'll need to improve to build on that in the second half against a well-drilled Osasuna side, who have themselves threatened at times.
44'
Modric chips the ball into Ronaldo's path and Riesgo saves well, but the flag was up anyway. And that's the last action of the half here.
43'
Cejudo picks it up wide left but the flag's up for offside. It's all rather fizzling out as half-time approaches here in the capital.
41'
A loose pass from Illarra allows Damia to run at Arbeloa but he fouls the Spain full-back as he tries to get round him. Bale then finds Benzema who clips a ball towards Jese's run but it's just overhit.
40'
CHANCE - wide! De Las Cuevas picks up the ball from the overhit corner and turns it back into the area, where Oier scuffs a low shot wide from 12 yards. Big, big chance for the visitors in the context of this game.
39'
Better from Osasuna! Oier flights the ball over the top and Riera races onto it, but Pepe pokes behind for a corner.
38'
Ronaldo tries to combine with Benzema but Flano intercepts. Bale then lets fly from distance but slices the shot up and over the bar.
37'
Silva's free kick is easily headed away by Pepe and Madrid can attack once more. Jese's shot is blocked, as is Bale's, and the ball drops towards Ronaldo in the area but the flag is up for offside.
35'
It is Ronaldo - and it wasn't far away! From 25 yards (not 22!) the Portuguese tries a measured effort which curls wide of the near post.
34'
Benzema is tripped by Silva and this could be a dangerous position - free kick, 22ish yards out, plumb in the middle...
33'
A loose pass from Loe there but Illarra gives it straight back to Osasuna. Benzema then tries to find room for a cross but Arribas stands up well and Oier clears.
31'
JESE - good tackle! Jese picks up a loose clearance and tries to square to Ronaldo inside the box but Arribas recovers superbly to clear.
30'
Not too far away! Arriba it was who met the cross from deep but couldn't direct the header on target.
29'
Riera is found well by Torres but again his control lets him down and Arbeloa pinches the ball back. The visitors do have a free kick, though...
26'
Madrid enjoying lots of play in the Osasuna half but without finding a way through the defence all that often. Bale does well to set up Illarra and he tries the direct option but his shot flies well wide.
25'
Osasuna can move the ball well in midfield when they want - Silva and Loe have used possession well at times, but Torres and Riera are all-too often letting the play break down.
24'
Ronaldo bursts clear and feeds Benzema but Oier just prods it away from him. Once more, though, Osasuna's outball is poor and Madrid regain the ball, but Modric overhits his pass for Arbeloa this time.
22'
Not a bad ball for Cujedo but Marcelo gets there first and Madrid have it back with Bale.
21'
Rather an ambitious shot from all of 35 yards there from Ronaldo, and it sails wide.
20'
Tight offside call for that goal. Sergio Ramos looked just ahead of play, but Benzema was just in line. Ronaldo, meanwhile, is lining up a free kick...
19'
K. Benzema has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
18'
Oier gets yellow.
GOOAAAAALLLLLL! Real Madrid, after all that, do take the lead! Brilliant free kick swung in by Modric and Benzema heads home from 6 yards. No mistake about that one!
17'
Jesé gets yellow.
That is a truly bizarre decision. Riesgo raced out and made clean contact with the ball, bringing down Jese afterwards. That was neither a penalty nor a dive. Utterly bewildering from the officials.
16'
Wait - no! He's changed his mind and booked Jese for diving!
15'
PENALTY GIVEN TO REAL MADRID!
14'
The corner is cleared and play is halted as Oier receives treatment. Ronaldo inadvertantly leaped into him in the area - that would've hurt a bit!
13'
Patient build-up from Madrid allows Arbeloa to find Jese, who forces the first corner.
12'
Riera looks for Torres but Arbeloa intercepts. Osasuna's frontline not quite clicking as yet - they're conceding possession a little cheaply.
11'
Benzema! Not too far away. Ronaldo finds some space and plays it into the Frenchman's path, but his curled effort from towards the angle of the area is over the bar.
10'
Torres volleys clear after Illarra gives it away, but Riera chases the ball in vain. Osasuna have it back in their own half now, though.
9'
Casillas was alert there on his return to the side. Should he keep his place in the cup competitions alone, he can make a maximum of 14 appearances before the World Cup...
7'
CHANCE - good save, Casillas! Cejudo turns nicely in the box and fires towards the near post but the Madrid skipper parries well.
6'
Arbeloa wanders in behind the defence and gets a return pass from Illarra but he can't control it and Osasuna clear.
5'
Benzema! Jese bundles his way into the box and feeds Benzema but Silva makes a brilliant challenge to stop a clear shot on goal. Great defending.
4'
Ronaldo dummies Pepe's pass but Jese can't quite keep it. Madrid instantly press to win the ball back, though.
3'
Osasuna have settled down quickly after that Modric chance - until Oriol Riera tries to play a one-two with the referee and loses it.
2'
MODRIC! What a start from Madrid! A stunning run from Luka Modric takes him to the edge of the area where he curls a shot just wide. Perhaps should have hit the target.
1'
Here we go! Osasuna get us underway.
Welcome one and all to Goal's LIVE! coverage of Real Madrid v Osasuna! I'm Joe Wright, back fresh from Barcelona on Wednesday evening and all set to bring you another fine feast of Spanish football.
Team news for tonight's Copa del Rey encounter in Madrid will be on the way shortly...
First up, the hosts: Casillas; Arbeloa, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Illarra, Modric; Bale, Jese, Ronaldo; Benzema.
And the visiting Osasuna: Riesgo; Oier, Flano, Arribas, Damia; Cejudo, Silva, Raoul Loe, De las Cuevas; Roberto Torres, Oriol Riera.
So Iker Casillas gets the nod in the cup once more, while Jese Rodriguez gets a start in place of Angel Di Maria, whom Carlo Ancelotti had already said would be given a rest tonight. Alvaro Morata is on the bench despite recent talk of a potential loan move to Arsenal, but there's no place for Fabio Coentrao, who remains linked with Manchester United.
Osasuna might just fancy their chances tonight, despite Madrid's riches in attack. They secured a 2-2 draw - and perhaps should have got even more - when the teams met in December, and are unbeaten in their last five matches. You lot don't seem to agree - 4-0 to the hosts is the No.1 pre-match prediction.
Players are out on the pitch - we're just moments away!
Hardly vintage Real in the first half. Should they do anything to change things? Can Osasuna strike back?
Not a classic, but Madrid win the first leg comfortably courtesy of goals from Karim Benzema and Jese Rodriguez. Ancelotti will doubtless point to some missed opportunities but they never looked like losing against an Osasuna side who struggled to create any meaningful threat. That's it from us in the capital - a good night to you all!
