SAVE THE SEASON BY CABALLERO!!! INCREDIBLE!! Adrian cuts in on his right foot and whips a strike towards the top corner, but the Malaga keeper somehow gets across to palm over the bar! Half the ground had already celebrated!
90' +1
B. Pawłowski enters the game and replaces N. Amrabat.
Schuster makes one last time consuming change as Amrabat comes off for Pawlowski. Three minutes of added time here!
89'
Jose Sosa steps up and dinks a free kick over the wall and his attempts just scraped the side netting! It was a cracking attempt, but fails to go between the sticks! Was that Atletico's best chance gone?!
88'
M. Angeleri gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
Angeleri is unluckily sent off for Malaga after going in strongly in a tackle with Diego! That was never a second booking, but the visitors are down the 10-men, and Simeone's men have a free kick on the edge of the box!
87'
Gabi gets yellow.
86'
Do we have a hero among the Atletico Madrid ranks here?! With Barcelona currently drawing with Elche, a goal now would WIN the Spanish Primera Division for Los Colchoneros!
84'
Atletico get the corner kick on the right, which Jose Sosa will take again. Malaga have 10 player back defending though and Camacho is on hand to head away at he front post. The visitors perhaps looking to park the bus now, but they've got an agonising six-minute wait plus stoppage time!
82'
Juanmi enters the game and replaces Samu.
Duda gets yellow.
Bernd Schuster makes another change as Juanmi as introduced in place of Samuel. Malaga may still have some joy on the counterattack here, as Atletico are going all out for this winner!
80'
Adrian Lopez looks to come out as hero as he smashes a strike at goal from 25 yards, but it was hit out of frustration rather than with any technique, and Caballero sees the attempt safely over the bar!
78'
Tiago gets yellow.
Tiago goes into the book for rising a boot to the face of Camacho after taking a poor touch inside the centre circle. That could easily have been a sending off! The Portuguese is lucky to get away with just a yellow!

Description
76'
E. Rescaldani enters the game and replaces R. Santa Cruz.
That goal has made the Vicente Calderon explode into cheers as they look to catalyse a winner for their beloved side! The ascendancy is definitely with Simeone's men, and they have just under 15 minutes to claim the title, as Barca are still drawing!
74'
T. Alderweireld has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by J. Sosa.
GOOOOAAAAALLLL!! GOOOOAAAALLL!! GOOOAAAALLLL FOR ATLETICO!!! AN UNLIKELY HERO!! A corner kick is swung in from the right and Alderweireld rises above everyone to glance a header into the corner! 1-1!!!
73'
CABALLERO DENIES ATLETICO AGAIN! A wonderfully-run set-piece on the edge of the area sees the ball come to Villa, who drills a strike towards the top corner, which the Malag goalkeeper palms behind with a strong left-hand! He looks unbeatable at he moment!
71'
DIEGOOOOOO!!! The Brazilian collects the ball 25 yards out and hits a rasper of a strike towards the bottom left corner, but his attempt is palmed wide by the big frame of Caballero! The hosts are probing for an equaliser! An equaliser which they desperately need!
70'
Diego enters the game and replaces A. Turan.
The third and final change for Atletico sees Arda Turan, who has been slightly off the pace tonight, replaced by Diego. The last throw of the dice from Diego Simeone!
68'
Atletico need to sort themselves out, and quickly, as once Barcelona get wind of this result it will give them impetus to press on for the goal against Elche. Do Los Colchoneros have a hero to bail them out?!
66'
The Vicente Calderon crowd is absolutely stunned here! The manner of the goal conceded has everyone scratching their heads!
65'
Samu has scored a goal for Malaga!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL FOR MALAGA!!! Miranda fails to clear the ball which allows Samuel to run through! Courtois comes way off his line and also fails to clear which allowed the attacker to head into the empty net! An awful goal to concede! Another potential twist in the title race! Incredible!
63'
J. Sosa enters the game and replaces Raúl García.
Simeone makes his second substitution as Raul Garcia is replaced by Jose Sosa, who'll just add some fresh legs. The substitute makes an immediate positive impact as he charges down the left and swings a superb cross into the box, but Antunes manages to clear.
61'
Some potentially worrying scenes for Atletico here as Courtois makes a routine save out of the air but then grimaces in pain upon his landing. He's moving a little more freely now, but definitely a situation to keep an eye on.
59'
SAAAAAVEEEE BY COURTOIS!! Malaga go on a pacey counterattack and Santa Cruz is released completely free in the inside left channel. He looks to lift the ball over the oncoming Atletico goalkeeper, who remains big to make the solid block! A real warning sign for the hosts!
57'
Adrián López enters the game and replaces Koke.
Diego Simeone makes his first change of the match, and it's an interesting one. Koke is replaced by Adrian Lopez, which will probably mean Raul Garcia reverting back into midfield.
55'
SAVE BY CABALLERO!! David Villa breaks away to the back post and opts not to hit the ball first time. Instead he shifts the ball on to his left foot before smashing a strike towards the near post, but the Malaga keeper diverts behind with a strong hand!
53'
Kokeeee! Unlucky! Atletico's No.6 latches on to a loose ball on the edge of the box and hits a snap shot towards the bottom corner, but he just can't get a decent connection on it, and his attempt goes by the post. Caballero had it covered anyway.
51'
Eliseu gets yellow.
Well, perhaps some justice has been done here as Eliseu does eventually go into the book, and for time wasting no less. He's definitely deserved at least a booking for the combination of transgressions!
49'
Eliseu is a lucky boy as the referee fails to spot his crude, late challenge of Filipe. The Portuguese full back initially makes a decent tackle but then leaves his boot in and rakes his studs down the thigh of the Atletico man. Awful challenge.
47'
Malaga initiate a decent counterattack and Amrabat collects the ball in the centre forward position. He threads a pass down the right for Samuel who then looks to pass in behind the defence for Santa Cruz, but Courtois was is his toes and comes out to claim.
46'
We are back under way in the Vicente Calderon!
44'
Arda collects possession on the left-hand side and whips a teasing cross into the area, but the retreating Weligton manages to stretch up to clear with a commanding header. Great defending there!
43'
M. Angeleri gets yellow.
42'
RAUL GARCIAAAAA!! HOW MANY OPPORTUNITIES DO ATLETICO NEED?! A cross is pumped into the box once again and the 27-year-old seems to be put off by the jump of Alderweireld, and ends up sending a header wide!
40'
KOKEEE!!! HOW DID HE MISS THAT?! Juanfran gets into an advanced position down the right-hand side and reverses a cross to the penalty spot for his team-mate, who can't sort out his feet and ends up stabbing a strike wide of the left-hand post!
38'
Atletico are just starting to ask more questions of their opponents here. Tiago and Gabi are just beginning to assert their dominance in the middle of the park which means the hosts are enjoying a period of possession in the final third. Caballero still not truly tested though.
36'
Arda Turan is first Atletico player to go into the book, and it's for a spectacularly awful dive inside the box after going down under the challenge of Camacho. It was definitely simulation, and the referee correctly brandishes the yellow card.
35'
A. Turan gets yellow.
34'
Arda collects the ball 30 yards out and fakes to shoot before looking for the run in behind from David Villa. A terrific spot from the Turk, but his team-mate just can't make up the ground in time and the ball runs out for a Malaga goal kick.
32'
We are only just over 30 minutes into play here at the Vicente Calderon but we have already seen seven or eight very late challenges from both sets of players, and it's making for a bit of a battle. None were particularly bad tackles, but just naughty little kicks out and boots left in.
30'
Arda cleverly chests down to Tiago, who slides a pass down the left wing for Filipe. The Brazilian clips a precision cross to the back post and Raul Garcia side foots back into the danger area, but the former Osasuna midfielder was offside and Malaga breath a sigh of relief.
28'
A small break in play at the moment as Villa and Angeleri are currently down after clashing heads in an aerial challenge. It looked a sore one, but not too much in it, so they should be okay to continue.
26'
Atletico seem quite content to sit slightly deeper and just soak up some pressure from the visitors at the moment. We all know about Los Colchoneros' ability on the counterattack, so they may just be luring Malaga into a false sense of security.
24'
Apart from Villa hitting the bar, we haven't seen too much in terms of goalmouth action in the opening 24 minutes. There is of course, so much riding on this game as Atletico pursue the title and Malaga aim to avoid relegation. Just a little tense out there at the moment.
22'
The referee suffers the wrath of the Atletico faithful as he blows for a rather soft foul on Eliseu after a half-challenge by Raul Garcia. The Portuguese did take a sore one on the knee, so perhaps it was a foul, albeit a soft one.
20'
Duda takes a quick free kick and releases Antunes down the left before receiving the ball back. He looks to thread a pass in the channel for his team-mate again but Malaga concede the ball after a powerful tackle by Juanfran. There was only one winner in that one!
18'
David Villa shows quick feet on the edge of the box to stab a pass through to Filipe who takes the ball beyond Caballero to the byline before digging out a cross into the centre. Atletico have a few bites at the cherry but eventually concede a free kick after a high foot by Raul Garcia.
16'
Tiago loses the ball in a dangerous position in front of his own defence and Santa Cruz collects before sliding a pass down the left for Amrabat, who initially looks to burst down the left-hand side but is eventually outnumbered. Atletico steal back possession and look to move up the park.
14'
Miranda looks for Raul Garcia up top but Camacho retreats back to help out his defence and head the ball away above the Atletico man. Malaga then take play through the middle and look to counterattack through Duda.
12'
ATLETICO HIT THE POST!! The ball is floated up to Raul Garcia to cleverly flicks on to the unmarked David Villa, who has all the time in the world to pick his spot but instead sends a strike off the crossbar! He should have scored!
10'
It was a typically high tempo start for Atletico as they came out of the blocks quickly looking to net in the early stages, but in the last few minutes the intensity has just dropped away as both sides look to find their feet.
8'
Atletico get a slight penalty shout in the early stages as a cross is fired to the front post and the ball appears to come off the arm of Eliseu. It would have been a harsh spotkick, and the referee shares this view as he waves play on.
6'
Juanfran gets to the byline and stands a cross to the back post for Tiago, who goes in bravely only to be clattered in the head by the boot of Antunes. The Malaga defender certainly didn't mean any arm, but it was a sore one for the Portuguese! He'll be okay though.
4'
Weligton gets yellow.
Weligton goes into the book early on and it's for an extremely late challenge on Raul Garcia down the right-hand side. The Malaga defender put his forearm right across the face of the Atletico man, and it could very easily have been more than a yellow!
2'
Antunes takes a couple of strides down the left-hand side and stands a cross into the box, which Courtois makes a slight meal of before eventually claiming out of the air. The Belgian turns 22 today, but it was nearly a horror start in his birthday match!

We are under way in the Vicente Calderon!
Good evening folks! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Spanish Primera Division clash between Atletico Madrid and Malaga from Vicente Calderon!
I'm Martin Macdonald, and it's my pleasure to take you through the action!
The latest chapter of the this magnificent season for Diego Simeone's outfit sees them welcome the Andalusian side to the Spanish capital for their last home game of the season. If Barcelona fail to claim all three points against Elche tonight and Atletico beat Malaga, then Los Colchoneros will be crowned champions of Spain. The way Tata Martino's men are playing at the moment, it is certainly now out within the realms of possibility!
However, the Argentine boss will be eager to drill into his players that they must get their own match out of the way first before they rely on other results. If Los Cules win tonight, then it is winner takes all in the match at Camp Nou against Atletico next week!
The title race was blown wide open last weekend when the Atletico were defeated away at Levante, but were let off the hook slightly when Barcelona and Real Madrid could only register a draw in their respective matches against Getafe and Valencia. Still so much to play for!
Malaga are not completely safe from the from the drop as of yet are are currently four points clear of the relegation zone. They will be hoping to spoil a potential title party for Atletico in order to rubber stamp their status in the Spanish Primera Division for next season.
Atletico's worst fear heading into the match has been realised as Diego Costa has not made the first XI tonight after failing to shake off a thigh injury. David Villa starts up top with Raul Garcia. Diego Godin is suspended and will be replaced by Toby Alderweirel.
Los Rojiblancos are unbeaten in seven matches against Malaga, and won the reverse fixture earlier on in the season 1-0 thanks to a 70th minute Koke strike.
Diego Simeone has no choice but to field a strong XI as Los Colchoneros continue their pursuit of a fantastic treble. They play arch rivals, Real Madrid, in the Champions League final on May 24th, but have two 'cup finals' of sorts to get through first as they play Malaga tonight and Barcelona next week.
Considering the circumstances surrounding Atletico's pursuit of the title and the potential ramifications of Barcelona's match against Elche, we'll be providing any goal updates of that match also, such as the tight nature of this title race!
Half time in the Vicente Calderon. It is all a little too tense to be comfortable for Atletico Madrid as they continue their pursuit of the title at home to Malaga. The visitors have remained relatively solid so far and we go into the break at a 0-0 stalemate. Raul Garcia, Koke, and David Villa have all had excellent opportunities, but none have been converted to take the pressure off. An intriguing second half in store!
Full time in Vicente Calderon! Atletico Madrid fail to take advantage of Barcelona's draw with Elche and do not win the league this evening as the only manage a 1-1 draw at home versus Malaga. The title will be decided next week when Atletico Madrid travel to Camp Nou to face Barcelona in the decider! What a game that will be, you do not want to miss it! I'm Martin Macdonald, thanks for joining us for this incredible game! Only one to go! We'll see you then!
