A. Griezmann has scored a goal for France! Assist by M. Sissoko.
GOOOOOOAL! GRIEZMANN GRABS HIS SECOND! The Real Sociedad man peels off to the front post, before directing Sissoko's cross home with a cheeky backheel! Only a few minutes left of the game for Jamaica to endure.
87'
Austin drives down the left hand side, but is denied by a covering challenge as he attempts to deliver from the byeline. Karim Benzema is withdrawn for France, with Schneiderlin making his international debut as a result.
86'
M. Schneiderlin enters the game and replaces K. Benzema.
85'
J. Edwards enters the game and replaces S. Dawkins.
France have the ball in the back of the net again via Remy, but the linesman's flag was already raised for offside. Evra and Pogba combine brilliantly with a one-two, but the Man United left-back strayed slightly offside in the process - though his eventual delivery resulted in a goal.
83'
REMY! The QPR striker is picked out by a cross from Evra, controlling well before mustering a tame effort at goal. He stabs it straight at Barrett, who is grateful not to concede again.
82'
France commit plenty forward for a corner and nearly get caught on the break! Mavuba tracks his runner to make an interception and deny the Reggae Boyz any sniff of a consolation goal.
80'
L. Rémy enters the game and replaces M. Valbuena.
Valbuena's last contribution is to miss a comically easy chance, but the home fans give him a standing ovation nonetheless. Loic Remy is the man to replace him, who might fancy his chances of grabbing another goal from the bench.
79'
More good news for France, as it appears that the earlier injury concerns for Debuchy were merely an inaccurate rumour. Should all of Deschamps' squad leave this stadium unscathed tonight, Les Bleus couldn't have had better preparation for the World Cup.
77'
A. Griezmann has scored a goal for France! Assist by M. Valbuena.
GOOOOAL! GRIEZMANN GRABS THE SEVENTH! Benzema tries to pull a cross back for Valbuena, but the Marseille man loses his balance and fluffs his lines - missing the easiest of chances! Griezmann picks up the scraps, before steering a finish inside the near post.
76'
France are in cruise control, Jamaica still can't find any kind of foundation to build upon. Griezmann drives through the heart of the visiting defence, before steering a right-footed effort wide of the far post. Positive start from the Real Sociedad substitute.

Description
74'
DAWKINS! Lloris is forced into his first real save of the evening, as Doyley breaks down the left and cuts a pass inside to the Derby forward. He musters up a right-footed effort, but the Spurs goalkeeper gobbles it up. France then break upfield through Sagna, but the cut-back from the Arsenal man is turned wide by Valbuena.
73'
Sagna makes an important clearance on the back post to deny Gray the opportunity to tuck home a Seaton backheel! France aren't switching off despite their commanding lead, it appears that they want to hand in a faultless performance in front of their adoring home fans.
72'
D. Williams enters the game and replaces M. Seaton.
P. Pogba enters the game and replaces B. Matuidi.
71'
A. Griezmann enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
Another change for France, as young Antoine Griezmann replaces Giroud, this should mean that Benzema stays central more often. Matuidi is given a bit of rest, allowing for Juve's Paul Pogba to enter the field of play for the last 20 minutes.
70'
BENZEMA! SO CLOSE TO HIS HAT-TRICK! The post is still shaking now! He swivels to move the ball onto his left foot on the edge of the box, but sees his powerful effort crack off the upright and wide! Barrett was at his mercy! There are some unconfirmed reports flying around that Debuchy may have actually broken his tibia in the first half.
69'
The Reggae Boyz aren't to be perturbing, trying to push yellow shirts forward and presumably grab a consolation goal. France's lines are uncompromising and staunch, however, Schafer's men are going to need something special to break them down.
67'
It's relentless from Deschamps' side, they aren't prepared to sit back and allow Jamaica a way back into the game. Austin releases Grant down the left hand side, but Sissoko tracks back excellently to rob the midfielder of possession.
66'
B. Matuidi has scored a goal for France! Assist by P. Evra.
GOOOOOOAL! MAKE THAT SIX! Evra breaks down the left hand side, before sending in a delicious cross for Matuidi to attack. It's slightly behind him, but he slides home a half volley anyway! Composed finish and Jamaica are being embarrassed.
65'
R. Sheriff enters the game and replaces C. Humphrey.
64'
Half an hour remaining for this nightmare to be over for Jamaica. The home supporters are buoyant, Les Bleus are certainly raising the public's hopes with a seamless performance tonight.
63'
K. Benzema has scored a goal for France! Assist by B. Matuidi.
GOOOOOOAL! WHAT A FANTASTIC STRIKE FROM BENZEMA! It's 5-0 and Barrett didn't even see that coming! He nearly takes the goal out of the ground, crashing a near post finish inside the upright! The goalkeeper didn't even move!
62'
VARANE! The young defender rises well to meet a corner delivery, towering high before sending the ball back into the turf. It bounces up, allowing for Barrett to get a great hand to the effort and turn it behind. The resulting set piece comes to nothing for Les Bleus.
61'
Half an hour remaining, with the result of this game most definitely a foregone conclusion. France are confident and solid, with Jamaica still struggling to contend with the hosts' offensive options when they're in full flight.
59'
R. Mavuba enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
Cabaye is taken off for the hosts, possibly due to his booking, with Rio Mavuba coming into midfield in his place. Given that he plays in Ligue 1 for Lille, he receives a rather warm reception. Giroud fires a long-range effort powerfully towards goal, but it's straight at Barrett, who collects at the second attempt.
57'
Benzema breaks down the left, getting to the byeline well, before clipping an intelligent cross to Sissoko at the back post. Seaton manages to clear, but Valbuena clips the loose ball back into the area. Barrett does just enough to palm behind for a corner, from which Evra fires a bullet header over the crossbar!
55'
Ten minutes into the second half and it's been a case of continued French domination. Gray floats a cross in towards Seaton, but the 18-year-old is denied a chance to get his head to the ball. France break through Sissoko, before feeding Giroud, but the former Montpellier man trips over his own poor first touch.
53'
O. Giroud has scored a goal for France! Assist by K. Benzema.
GOOOOOAL! FRANCE LEAD 4-0! GIROUD! Benzema clips a brilliant cross from the left hand side, beating Gray all ends up, before Giroud merely has to apply the finishing touch from close range. Great cross from the Real Madrid forward and it's a relatively simple finish - in off the post!
52'
France are creeping back into dominance, with Les Bleus able to break upfield with frightening speed. Cabaye whips in a cross from deep on the right, but Morgan is able to win the aerial battle. There's a notable lack of intensity in this second half, with the hosts clearly feeling the game to be won.
50'
VALBUENA! The Marseille man lined up a shot on the edge of the box, but Doyley did well to make the block. He's been shifted over to left-back, with Gray slightly more comfortable on the right flank, given that he's a right sided midfielder by trade.
49'
There's a slight lull in both the game and the atmosphere, as both elevens struggle to show the same intensity as in the first half. Dawkins wins a corner for the Reggae Boyz, but Lloris confidently tips it away from the danger zone.
47'
Hughan Gray comes on for the away side, replacing left-back Lawrence who had a rather torrid first 45 minutes. Given that the Waterhouse man is normally a midfielder by trade, France should be keen to foray down the right hand side and test the game's new participant. It won't be Debuchy to give Gray the once over, however, as the Newcastle man is replaced by Bacary Sagna.
46'
B. Sagna enters the game and replaces M. Debuchy.
H. Gray enters the game and replaces K. Lawrence.
R. Campbell enters the game and replaces N. Beckett.
We are back underway in the second half! France were dominant in the first half, but their fans won't be happy with anything but the same again. Deschamps can afford to make a few changes and give some bit-part players an opportunity to prove themselves - Schafer will merely be aiming for damage limitation.
45' +1
Danger averted, as Lloris is quick off his line to punch clear, before Jamaica pick up the pieces. Another cross is floated into the back post area, but the Spurs goalkeeper rises highest to beat Mariappa to the ball and catch. Solid stuff.
45'
Grant is felled by a late challenge from Cabaye, earning the former Lille playmaker a deserved yellow card. It was rash and late, giving Jamaica the chance to load the box and fire a set piece into the danger zone.
44'
Y. Cabaye gets yellow.
Valbuena whips in another lofted delivery, with Benzema beating Mariappa to the ball, but also beating the post. He can only divert his header wide of the upright, but he won't mind as he has his goal for the evening.
43'
Only a few minutes until the break, with France happy to sit back and absorb any pressure, while feeding the fluid front three of Benzema, Giroud and Valbuena whenever possible. To say that this is a experimental trio, they've shown very clear understanding.
41'
GIROUD! Benzema flicks a clever ball through to Giroud, but the Arsenal striker snatches at his effort and drags it wide of the goal - much to the relief of Barrett. He's been a very busy man during this half, while Lloris may as well be reading a book in between the other posts.
39'
There's really nothing that Schafer can do for the Reggae Boyz here, as France kick into another gear. Confidence is high heading into the World Cup, you'd certainly not think that this side have lost a Ballon d'Or nominee in the last week.
38'
K. Benzema has scored a goal for France! Assist by M. Valbuena.
GOOOOOOOAL! BENZEMA NETS TO MAKE IT THREE! The Real Madrid man receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area, before shifting it onto his right foot and curling a great effort past the unsighted Barrett! France in the driving seat.
37'
Less than ten minutes until the interval and France continue to be in total control. Jamaica have only been able to muster a couple of crosses, with the likes of Cabaye, Valbuena and Matuidi explosive and creative from midfield for Les Bleus.
35'
Debuchy slides in to try and keep the ball in play, contesting with Lawrence in the opposition penalty area. The left-back appears to have caught the former Lille defender in his thigh, which has resulted in a bit of discomfort and treatment for the Newcastle man. A possible dead leg.
34'
Doyley breaks down the right, before Cabaye steps in to rob the Jamaica right-back of the ball. A long ball is released for Giroud, the Arsenal man manages to whip a cross towards the penalty spot, but Benzema isn't able to make goalscoring contact.
33'
Humphrey whips another cross in from the right flank, but Debuchy puts in a good defensive header at the back post to deny Dawkins an opportunity. Jamaica have been limited to direct crosses from deep areas, Lloris hasn't had a save to make yet.
32'
We're past the half hour mark in what has been a very enjoyable game to watch thus far. France win another corner, with Valbuena delivering, but Morgan manages to beat Sakho to the ball. The two physical defenders have a few quiet words with one another afterwards.
30'
France continue to work well, sliding the ball around with ease and getting in behind the Jamaican back four consistently. Worrying times for the away side, who could be realistically looking at a thrashing this evening.
28'
VALBUENA! The diminutive attacking midfielder slips in between the lines yet again, before setting himself up for a strike. He fires at goal from the edge of the box, but Barrett gobbles it up easily.
27'
France win another corner, but it is just about dealt with by the visiting defence. The pressure continues to be sustained, with Jamaica really struggled to get even a foothold in this game. Matuidi finds Benzema in space at the back post, with the Real Madrid forward pivotting smartly and firing his eventual effort too close to Barrett.
25'
Valbuena and Matuidi combine brilliantly down the left hand side, but a vital block from a stray Jamaican leg denies the latter an opportunity to cut a cross back from the byeline. France continue to stream forward, they're showing no signs of wanting to sit back and control the game.
24'
Valbuena curls another low delivery into the penalty area, but Austin hoofs clear. The Leeds midfielder is then penalised for a late challenge on Cabaye. The free-kick is sprayed out to the right flank, with Debuchy nodding the ball in behind the Jamaican back four for Giroud to chase. Barrett races out to claim.
22'
Two goals in three minutes has the home crowd in a party atmosphere! They believe that their side can have a successful campaign, with this new experimental front three faring quite well. Cabaye started the attack once again for France, with the former Newcastle man having a great game.
20'
B. Matuidi has scored a goal for France! Assist by K. Benzema.
19'
A few of the home fans started to grumble, but that goal has silenced the critics! The goalscorer is back in amongst it straight after the restart, driving upfield and poking a through ball for Benzema to chase. Morgan covers across well to clear.
17'
Y. Cabaye has scored a goal for France! Assist by O. Giroud.
15'
Valbuena and Debuchy exchange a one-two on the right flank, but Lawrence does well to rob possession from the Newcastle right-back and clear upfield composedly. Schafer's men are just starting to creep back into the game, with Lloris doing well to clear a poor Sakho backpass from the feet of Seaton.
13'
Humphrey delivers from the right flank, but Debuchy manages to make an important clearance at the back post to deny Jamaica an unlikely opener. They've certainly got some pace to trouble Deschamps' men on the break. Cabaye shoots from 25 yards, but drags his effort well wide.
12'
Giroud takes a lovely first touch to get around Doyley, but the Watford defender recovers well to deny the former Montpellier striker the chance to cut a cross back from the byeline. France are piling on the pressure, with Giroud involved regularly.
10'
Shaky from Barrett! The goalkeeper almost manages to claw away Debuchy's delivery from the right, with Benzema lurking at the back post. Though it was an unorthodox attempted save, it just might have put Benzema off - but the Reggae Boyz shot-stopper isn't looking too confident.
9'
Jamaica are struggling early on, with plenty of yellow shirts stuck behind the ball and Seaton looking rather isolated. France's midfield three have had free reign, with the likes of Austin and Beckett struggling to get close to their adversaries.
8'
Another long ball is flighted into the area for Giroud to attack by Valbuena, with the Jamaican defence under siege and seemingly unable to deal with France's physical offensive options. The Arsenal man nearly manages to nip in behind moments later, but Wes Morgan slides in to put the ball into touch.
7'
Benzema is found in behind the Jamaican lines by Cabaye, bringing the ball down with his chest nicely. The linesman's flag is held aloft, however, with France denied once again deep into opposition territory. Les Bleus are looking confident.
6'
Jamaica finally manage to make their way upfield, earning a free-kick deep on the right hand side. It's whipped into the box excellently, with Mariappa timing his run well, but the former Reading defender can only poke the ball wide of the post. Lloris was merely a spectator there.
4'
GIROUD! Valbuena hangs up a beautiful ball to the back post, but Lawrence does just enough to make it hard for the Arsenal striker to attack. It's all France from the start, with the Reggae Boyz struggling to hold onto possession for any length of time.
3'
An early stoppage in play, as Jamaica captain Austin gets a liberal dose of the magic spray. After he gingerly leaves the field, France are able to whip in their first corner delivery of the game. Seaton clears at the near post.
2'
The first foul of the game is committed by Simon Dawkins, as Mathieu Valbuena is felled by the former Aston Villa midfielder. It isn't received too well by the home support, who surely still have Ribery in their minds. Barrett makes an early spill from a Sissoko cross, but neither Benzema nor Sissoko can tuck home the rebound.
1'
We are underway in the first half! The home fans are in good voice, buoyed by their side's recent performances, no doubt. Les Blues are in their customary colours, while Jamaica don their yellow home kit.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of tonight's international friendly between France and Jamaica, as the home side look to get over the losses of Franck Ribery and Clement Grenier in the best possible fashion. The Reggae Boyz managed a 2-2 draw against Egypt last time out and certainly possess the physical attributes required to give Didier Deschamps' side a stern test.
I'm Simon Harrison and I will be keeping you up to date with all of the action from Stade Pierre-Mauroy, as Les Bleus look to make their way to Brazil in winning fashion. There's plenty to be exciting about with regard to this contest, as France's offensive options all have points to prove to their manager before the groups stages of the World Cup.
TEAM NEWS: Franck Ribery and Clement Grenier dropped out of the France squad earlier this week to due injury, with Remy Cabella and Morgan Schneiderlin called up in their places. Antoine Griezmann only gets a spot on the bench for Les Bleus, with Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena deployed in attack to support Olivier Giroud. Deschamps opts for youthful talent in central defence, as Raphael Varane and Mamadou Sakho start, while Newcastle's Mathieu Debuchy is at right-back.
TEAM NEWS: Both goalscorers against Egypt are involved again for Jamaica, as Joel Grant and Simon Dawkins get starts. Nicholas Beckett replaces Romario Campbell in midfield, while Winfried Schafer opts to keep his back four the same. Tenacious captain Rodolph Austin might be one to watch for France, as the Leeds United midfielder isn't one to pull out of challenges.
Jamaica substitutes: Williams, Gray, J. Edwards, Finlayson, Campbell, Thompson, U. Edwards, Sheriff.
Less than ten minutes until kick-off, so be sure to stick around for all of the action as France look to keep their good run going and maintain momentum heading into Brazil. Paul Pogba is on the bench for Les Bleus this evening solely for a rest, never fear, the youngster will be involved against Honduras.
A draw against Paraguay wasn't exactly what France planned last time out, with a Victor Caceres grabbing a late equaliser, but Didier Deschamps' men can right the wrongs of that game tonight. After losing to both Serbia and Switzerland in recent friendlies against European opposition, Jamaica appear to be a good opponent for the hosts to face.
The players are out on the field in the evening sun and will hope that everyone who sets foot off it after the 90 minutes are up, will do so without injury. Too many star players have been ruled out of the World Cup of late, with France in particular suffering due to the back problems of Franck Ribery. Should this new front three far well tonight, however, Les Bleus will be confident despite the Bayern winger's absence.
HALF TIME! Nearly a perfect half for France, who head into the dressing room with a 3-0 lead over Jamaica. Goals from Cabaye, Matuidi and Benzema have Deschamps' side in a commanding position, with Lloris having a very relaxed evening thus far.
Les Bleus have pressed forward with consistency, with their experimental front three of Valbuena, Benzema and Giroud causing all types of problems. Schafer's visiting are being outclassed in every department, with the result of this game being a foregone conclusion. Confidence is high in Lille.
Be sure to rejoin us for all of the second half action, as France look to head to Brazil in style. This is a warning sign to all involved at the World Cup, as despite Ribery's absence, Deschamps' men are certainly a force to be reckoned with.
FULL TIME! France thrash Jamaica 8-0 in Lille, sending out a statement to all who will face Les Bleus at the World Cup! Goals from Cabaye, Matuidi, Benzema, Giroud and Griezmann wrapped up the win, with Deschamps' men finishing their preparation in seemingly perfect fashion.
Plenty for the home fans to smile about, as the experimental trio of Valbuena, Benzema and Giroud clicked together nicely, with two goals from the bench for Griezmann. Ribery's absence looks that little bit less worrying now.
That's all that we have time for, as France thrashed Jamaica 8-0 in their last international friendly before the World Cup in Brazil. I've been Simon Harrison and I hope to see you again next time.
