Gibbs cuts inside from the left wing on a great run and heads towards the edge of the Chelsea penalty area before trying to tee up Giroud, but again the striker is beaten to the ball at the last moment, just as he's about to unleash a thumping shot.
90' +2
Giroud goes close! The Frenchman breaks through the middle of the Chelsea back line as he tries to latch on to a lovely pass forward, but he's closed down and put under good pressure by Cahill, which allows Courtois to dart out and cut out the danger at the vital moment.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
88'
Chelsea attempt to come back again as they desperately try to find a late consolation goal, but this time it's a misplaced pass from Matic that brings a promising attacking move to a disappointing end, as it flies over the head of Alonso and fails to find the Spaniard being bouncing out for a goal-kick.
86'
Chelsea patiently move the ball around on the edge of the Arsenal penalty area before Pedro picks up possession in a pocket of space over on the left-hand side of the box, but the Spaniard's attempted curling shot is awfully hit and fails to trouble Cech before sailing high and wide of the goal.
84'
What a save by Cech! Luiz sends a wonderful, long-range pass through the Arsenal defence and into the path of Batshuayi, who then charges towards the edge of the penalty area, but the Belgian's thumping low shot fails to beat the former Chelsea goalkeeper and is deflected over the top of the crossbar and out for a corner.
83'
Diego Costa gets yellow.
Costa battles with Koscielny on the halfway line before being dispossessed by the Frenchman. The Chelsea striker isn't at all happy with the defender's challenge and shows his displeasure at the referee, which results in him receiving a yellow card for dissent.
82'
Kante embarks on a marauding run down the left wing before being fouled by Xhaka, who gives away a free-kick in a dangerous position. The set-piece is initially dealt with by the Arsenal back line but is only cleared as far as Ivanovic, who then curls a shot straight into the hands of Cech.
81'
Batshuayi twists and turns deep inside the Arsenal penalty area as he tries to take on Mustafi, but he's unable to do so and ends up giving away a goal-kick after the German's thumping clearance scrapes the leg of the striker.
80'
Alonso gets himself into a grea position deep down the left wing before firing a wonderful low cross into the heart of the Arsenal penalty area, but it misses every available blue shirt before eventually being cleared by Gibbs at the far post.

Description
79'
O. Giroud enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
Arsenal have made their final substitution of the night, and it's Sanchez who receives a standing ovation as he's replaced by Giroud for the remainder of the game.
77'
A half-hearted Chelsea attack comes to an end, allowing Arsenal to break away on a quick counter-attack down the left wing. A cross from Sanchez fails to find a teammate before bouncing back to Xhaka, but the midfielder's thumping shot from 30 yards out is overhit and sails comfortably over the top of the crossbar.
75'
Pedro twists and turns deep down the left wing before curling a dangerous cross into the middle of the penalty area. It looks as if it's going to be able to reach Costa near to the penalty spot, but Mustafi gets down low to send the ball away from the striker with a vital headed clearance.
73'
What a tackle by Bellerin! Pedro breaks through the Arsenal back line and initially looks as if he's going to be able to go one-on-one with Cech, but Bellerin rushes back and shows great determination to catch up with the substitute before dispossessing him with a fantastic sliding tackle on the edge of the box.
72'
Sanchez shows great skill on the edge of the Chelsea penalty area before trying to thread a through-ball into the path of Cazorla, who had made a good run into the penalty area, but Ivanovic is just about able to stick out a foot to stop the pass from finding the Spaniard.
71'
M. Batshuayi enters the game and replaces E. Hazard.
And the second is Batshuayi, who takes the place of Hazard.
70'
Pedro enters the game and replaces Willian.
Chelsea have decided to make a double substitution as they desperately try to find a way back into the game. The first player to come on is Pedro, who replaces Willian.
69'
K. Gibbs enters the game and replaces A. Iwobi.
Arsenal have made their second substitution of the game, with Iwobi making way for Gibbs.
68'
Walcott almost makes it 4-0! The Arsenal winger skips behind Alonso far too easily and heads towards the near post before unleashing a thumping low shot, but Courtois does wonderfully well to tip it round the far post with an outstretched foot.
67'
Chelsea come back once again and work the ball around patiently before Ivanovic eventually tries to test Cech from 30 yards out, but the defender's audacious effort is poor and ends up sailing comfortably over the top of the crossbar and out for a goal-kick.
66'
Alonso picks up the ball out on the left wing and immediately tees up Luiz, who then tries to poke a pass into the path of Costa, but the Brazilian's pass is poor and is easily cut out on the edge of the penalty area before it can find the striker, who has been increasingly isolated during the second half.
64'
Cahill looks furious! The centre-back calls for Courtois to come out and deal with a loose ball, but the goalkeeper doesn't do so and forces the defender into clearing the ball under pressure from Cazorla. He then turns and screams at the Belgian, showing just how displeased he is at the moment.
63'
Cazorla weaves his way towards the edge of the Chelsea penalty area before trying to play a quick one-two with Sanchez, but the Spaniard is blocked off just as he's about to dart into the box and is unable to reach the ball at the near post.
61'
Chelsea work the ball around well before winning themselves a free-kick over on the right wing, but Willian's cross from the set-piece is poor and fails to find its way through the sea of red and white shirts camped inside the middle of the Arsenal penalty area.
59'
Chelsea's switch to three at the back is an interesting one, and it'll be fascinating to see how they manage with it for the final half an hour of the game. So faar they have looked shaky at the back since changing to the new formation, but going the other way the extra width has allowed them to find more space in advanced areas.
57'
Arsenal fly forward on an excellent counter-attack as they pile bodies forward in search of a fourth goal. Chelsea are all over the place at the back and almost get caught out by the hosts, but the Gunners are slightly too slow in possession and fail to take advantage of the golden opportunity.
55'
Marcos Alonso enters the game and replaces Cesc Fàbregas.
Chelsea have decided to make their first substitution of the game, with Fabregas making way for Alonso. It looks as if Chelsea are going to go with three at the back.
54'
Chance for Sanchez! Walcott is left in far too much space over on the right wing, allowing him to easily penetrate the Chelsea penalty area. He darts into the box before chipping a lovely cross over to back post, but it ends up sailing just a yard or so over the head of Sanchez.
52'
Costa once again drops deep in search of the ball, but this time he's unable to find a teammate with his attempted pass over to the left wing and instead sends the ball rolling harmlessly out of play for a throw-in. The Spaniard looks incredibly frustrated, and it's no wonder why.
50'
Costa drifts out to the left wing and does well to pick up the ball in an advantageous position, but his low, curled cross towards Willian is poorly hit and is easily cut out by Xhaka on the edge of the Arsenal penalty area.
48'
Chelsea move the ball around nicely before Matic tries to slip a through-ball into the path of Azpilicueta, but the Serbian's attempted pass forward is poor and is easily cut out before it can find the full-back, who had taken up a good position.
46'
And we're underway once again!
45' +2
Hazard is fouled by Walcott as he tries to weave down the left wing and Chelsea are presented with a good opportunity to whip the ball into the Arsenal box. Fabregas does so and almost picks out a blue shirt, but Cech is there to thump the ball away to Hazard, who then thumps a volley into the side-netting from close range.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
44'
Arsenal are finding far too much space whenever they push forward, and Chelsea are failing to learn their lesson. Iwobi and Walcott are constantly being left alone on either flank, whilst Sanchez is causing the Blues' centre-backs so many problems with his impressive runs around the edge of the box.
42'
Chelsea desperately try to push forward from the restart as they try to find a way back into the game, but they're unable to break through the sea of red and white shirts on the edge of the Arsenal penalty area. The home side have impressed in front of goal but have been equally good at the other end in dealing with the likes of Costa and Willian.
40'
M. Özil has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by A. Sánchez.
GOAL! Fantastic counter-attack by Arsenal! Chelsea lose the ball once again and Arsenal hit them a brilliant counter through the middle of the pitch. Ozil flies forward on a wonderful run before teeing up Sanchez, who immediately curls a cross right on to the foot of the German over on the left-hand side of the box. The German is completely unmarked and easily able to fire a volleyed shot down into the ground and into the right-hand side of the goal. Chelsea are all over the place at the back!
Sanchez did wonderfully well to hit Chelsea on the counter, but, once again, questions have to be asked of the visitors' back line. They've been at sixes and sevens thus far and have struggled to deal with some excellent play from Arsenal, who are on fire at the moment.
39'
Costa, who has arguably been Chelsea's best player thus far, muscles his way into the right-hand side of the Arsenal box before unleashing a shot from close range, but, not for the first time today, Koscielny is there to block the effort with a great dive in front of the Spaniard.
38'
Fabregas and Hazard link up deep down the left wing as Chelsea desperately try to find a way into the Arsenal penalty area, but, after getting himself into a good position near to the byline, the Belgian sends a poor pass straight into the feet of Walcott.
37'
A terrible cross-field pass from Ivanovic can only find an Arsenal player, and the home side immediately fly forward on a quick counter-attack. They work the ball around nicely thanks to great play from Sanchez and Bellerin, but the Spaniard's low cross from the right-hand side of the penalty area fails to find a red and white shirt despite being sent into a very dangerous position.
36'
Costa charges through the middle of the pitch on a marauding run as he tries to muscle his way through a sea of red and white shirts. He does well to get into an advanced position before eventually being dispossessed by Monreal, but he isn't happy at all with the referee and he screams a free-kick that isn't given.
34'
Willian gets down the right flank well before firing a great cross into the heart of the penalty area, but Cech reads the flight of the ball well and is able to dart out and deal with the danger before it can find the head of Matic, who had made a good run into the penalty area.
32'
G. Xhaka enters the game and replaces F. Coquelin.
Coquelin limps off the pitch to be replaced by Xhaka, who will slot in to the Frenchman's position at the base of the Arsenal midfield.
31'
Coquelin initially went down after tangling with Willian in the build-up to Chelsea's last chance on goal, and he's just gone down again off the ball. He really seems to be struggling with what looks like a nasty knock, and this might prove to be the end of his day.
30'
Ozil's cross from the corner is curled towards Mustafi, but Kante does well to rise high and beats the big German to the ball before nodding it away from the Chelsea penalty area.
29'
After taking his time eyeing up the target, Sanchez steps up and sends a curling shot towards the top left-hand corner of the net that deflects off the head of Matic and out for another Arsenal corner, this time over on the left wing.
28'
B. Ivanović gets yellow.
Arsenal break away quickly through Iwobi and Sanchez, who link up wonderfully well deep inside the Chelsea half of the pitch before the youngster is tripped just outside of the visitors' penalty area, resulting in a yellow card for the Serbian and a free-kick for the home side in a very dangerous position.
27'
Azpilicueta and Matic link up well deep down the left flank before the Serbian tries to muscle his way into the penalty area, but Mustafi is there to dispossess the midfielder with a great interception near to the byline.
26'
This time Cazorla sends his header slightly deeper, but Luiz beats Mustafi to the ball to send it flying over to the left flank. It's picked up by Sanchez, but the Chilean sends a poor pass into the feet of Hazard and gifts Chelsea with a chance to break forward on a counter-attack. However, the Belgian is quickly closed down and is unable to make the opportunity count.
25'
Great play by Sanchez sets up Bellerin just outside of the Chelsea box, but Cahill dives in front of the Spaniard's shot to send it out for a corner. Cazorla steps up and whips it towards the near post, but Costa is there to head the ball behind for another corner.
24'
Great block by Koscielny! Costa charges through the middle of the pitch on a marauding run before teeing up Willian, who once again is in plenty of space over on the right-hand side of the box. He quickly pokes the ball back to Hazard on the edge of the penalty area, but the Belgian's first-time shot is well blocked by Koscielny.
22'
Willian goes close! After several minutes on the back foot, Chelsea are finally able to push forward on an attacking move of their own. Hazard and Costa move the ball around nicely before the Belgian pokes a pass over to Willian, who is in plenty of space over on the right-hand side of the penalty area, but the Brazilian's thumping low shot rolls just wide of the far post after beating Cech.
20'
Chelsea lose the ball on the halfway line and allow Iwobi to quickly try and tee up Sanchez, who is in a good position just in front of the visitors' back line, but his first touch is poor and sends the ball rolling away from him before he can control it.
18'
Chance for Sanchez! Chelsea are caught in possession once again over on the left wing, allowing the Chilean to cut inside towards the penalty area. He breaks towards the box before trying to beat Courtois at his far post, but his low strike is scuffed and rolls comfortably wide of the goal.
16'
Arsenal are continuing to dominate the game as the boss possession inside the Chelsea half of the pitch. The home side are all over their opponents and are making life incredibly difficult for them, which has resulted in the visitors seeing little of the ball in advanced positions.
14'
T. Walcott has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by Héctor Bellerín.
That was a lovely run and pick out by Bellerin, but he was left alone by Hazard, who failed to deal with the threat from the Spaniard. The Belgian has been poor defensively thus far, and this time it resulted in a goal that was far too easy for Arsenal.
GOAL! Arsenal have doubled their lead! The home side move the ball around beautifully before Bellerin is picked out on the right-hand side of the penalty area, where he's left in far too much space by Hazard. The right-back immediately spots Walcott and sends a lovely low cross into the path of the number 14, who is easily able to slot the ball past Courtois and into the back of the net.
13'
Chelsea quickly lose possession from the restart and Arsenal come back once again, but a deep cross from Monreal is unable to be controlled by Walcott, who, off balance, can only nod the ball over to Kante on the edge of the penalty area.
11'
A. Sánchez has scored a goal for Arsenal!
GOAL! What a terrible mistake by Cahill! The Chelsea defender tries to send a backpass to Courtois but is caught in possession by Sanchez, who steals the ball from the centre-back before charging towards goal. He darts into the penalty area before going one-on-one with Courtois, who he is easily able to beat with a wonderfully-placed strike.
10'
Walcott breaks into the Chelsea box on a great run before being dispossessed by Azpilicueta, but the ball rolls back to Sanchez and the Chilean wins his side a corner with a deflected shot. The set-piece causes the Chelsea defence a few problems before a low cross is fired towards the far post, but Ivanovic is just about able to cut out the danger at the vital moment.
8'
Hazard makes a good run down the left wing and picks up the ball near to the byline, and he controls it well before swinging a cross towards the edge of the penalty area. Matic is in a good position and does well to meet the ball, but his first touch is heavy and sends it away from him before he's able to shoot.
6'
Willian's cross from the resulting free-kick is taken away from Cahill, but Chelsea quickly regain possession and work the ball back over to the Brazilian. He sends another cross into the middle of the box, but this time Hazard leaves it for a teammate that isn't there, which sees a promising attack come to a disappointing end.
5'
Chelsea quickly break away on a swift counter-attack down the right flank. Costa breaks forward on a marauding run as he battles with Koscielny, and he eventually forces the defender into bringing him down just outside of the Arsenal penalty area.
4'
Great save by Courtois! The home side continuing move the ball around nicely before Cazorla unleashes a thumping strike from 25 yards out, but the Chelsea goalkeeper does well to get down low quickly before parrying the ball away from danger and over to the right wing.
3'
Arsenal embark on a good start to the game before winning themselves a corner over on the left wing. Cazorla steps up and curls a dangerous cross into the heart of the penalty area, but Luiz is there to cut out the danger with a strong header before Courtois collects the ball at the near post.

And we're off! Chelsea get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
This week sees Arsene Wenger mark 20 years in charge of Arsenal, and he will be aiming to celebrate it by extending his side’s unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions. 10 points from the opening five games of the season isn’t a bad return, and it means that they head into today’s big clash in fourth place, equal on points with Chelsea but narrowly ahead of their London rivals on goal difference.
A thrilling 4-3 defeat against Liverpool on the opening weekend was a less than desirable way for Arsenal to start the new season, but since then the Gunners have looked far more assured. New signing Shkodran Mustafi has settled into central defence alongside Laurent Koscielny, and the pair have helped to guide their side four wins from their last six games, whilst earlier in the month they did well to come from behind to hold Paris Saint-Germain to a 1-1 draw in their opening Champions League game.
Chelsea have been known to ruin Wenger’s celebratory occasions, and they’ll be hoping to repeat those feats here today. The Blues marked the Frenchman’s 500th game in charge Arsenal with a 1-0 win back in 2005, whilst two years ago they rained on his parade in emphatic fashion with a 6-0 thumping of the Gunners in the manager’s 1000th clash.
New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte hasn’t gone three league games without a win since 2012, but that is a prospect that is currently facing his side after suffering a draw and defeat against Swansea City and Liverpool, respectively. The former Italy manager started well with victories against West Ham United, Watford and Burnley in his first three Premier League clashes, but this, arguably his toughest game of the season thus far, could prove to be a difficult 90 minutes for the Blues.
Arsenal XI (4-2-3-1): Cech; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi; Sanchez.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Chelsea substitutes: Begovic, Alonso, Chalobah, Moses, Oscar, Pedro, Batshuayi.
Chelsea XI (4-2-3-1): Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Azpilicueta; Kante, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Hazard; Costa.
Arsenal substitutes: Ospina, Holding, Gibbs, Xhaka, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Perez, Giroud.
Arsene Wenger has decided to name a completely changed Arsenal side to the one that started the win against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup, whilst Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made six alterations to the side that featured against Leicester City during the week, with Thibaut Courtois, Branislav Ivanovic, Ngolo Kante, Willian, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa returning to the side to replace Asmir Begovic, Marcos Alonso, Victor Moses, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Pedro and Michy Batshuayi, respectively.
The two sides are making their way out on to the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 3-0 CHELSEA
Chelsea have been all over the place at the back, and as a result Arsenal head in to the half-time break with a well-deserved three-goal lead that surely means that they will leave with a victory. The hosts have been deadly on the break, and poor defending from the visitors' struggling back line has continually made life far too easy for them. Conte will be absolutely furious with how his team have performed thus far, and he'll have to make plenty of tactical changes during the break if they're to have any hope of getting back into the game.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: ARSENAL 3-0 CHELSEA
The referee blows his whistle for the final time and brings to an end what has been a horrible game for Chelsea. The Blues were all over the place at the back and made life far too easy for Arsenal, who were in scintillating form and made their visitors pay for their lax defending. In the end, a dominant first-half performance was enough and they were able to take their foot off the pedal slightly after the break.
