G. Lo Celso enters the game and replaces M. Verratti.
SUB! Giovani Lo Celso comes on for Verratti in the closing stages.
There will be just two minutes of stoppage time for PSG to see out here...

SAVE! It's not going to be Montpellier's day, with Trapp again saving smartly as Boudebouz powers in a low shot. Just three minutes remain for the visitors to force what would surely be a consolation.
84'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces Á. Di María.
SUB! Di Maria, who grabbed the second and then collected a booking, is replaced by Lucas Moura.
83'
Hilton will end this game on the losing side, but he's put in a superb defensive display. He again beats Cavani to a cross to clear away. Montpellier's centre-backs have performed admirably, but the number of PSG chances have seen off the visitors.
81'
J. Draxler enters the game and replaces J. Pastore.
S. Camara enters the game and replaces I. Mbenza.
SUB! Meanwhile, Souleymane Camara is on for Mbenza for the visitors.
SUB! Pastore bows out and Julian Draxler takes his place.
79'
SAVE! Jonathan Ikone, against his parent club, works an angle to shoot from the left. Trapp gathers comfortably.
76'
CHANCE! Maxwell forces a corner on the left, Di Maria delivers and Aurier, storming in, nods over the top. Montpellier cannot regain a foothold in the game at this stage.
75'
PSG are going through another spell of just keeping the ball. Nevertheless, these passages tend to end in a carefully crafted chance.
72'
BLOCK! Important defending again from Hilton as Cavani's wait for a second goal goes on. He took his time to shoot and found the visiting captain blocking his path.
Minute
Description
71'
SAVE! Superb from Cavani, dancing inside to shoot straight at Pionnier, who then watches Di Maria send a low strike arrowing just wide.
68'
Á. Di María gets yellow.
YELLOW! A booking for Di Maria for chopping down Roussillon, who had been dashing towards the area.
65'
CLOSE! Magical from Boudebouz, cutting inside from the right past a number of challenges, but his strike narrowly misses the far top corner.
63'
Another teasing Aurier centre, but Cavani, this time, fails to make contact at the near post!
62'
BLOCK! A wonderful, wonderful PSG move, but just as Di Maria looked set to turn Aurier's square pass into an empty net, Hilton recovered to clear.
61'
OVER! Matuidi lashes a loose ball off target, but PSG are in firm control now.
59'
K. Dolly enters the game and replaces P. Lasne.
J. Ikoné enters the game and replaces S. Mounié.
SUB! A pair of changes for Montpellier, with, first, Jonathan Ikone replacing Mounie.
SUB! Lasne also makes way, as Keagan Dolly comes on.
56'
Pokorny stands firm again! Pastore and Verratti combine to spark a PSG counter, but the Montpellier defender meets Di Maria's cross ahead of Cavani.
54'
SAVE! Better from Trapp! Ryad Boudebouz is held up on the left, but he slips in Lasne to blast at goal. The goalkeeper smartly turns the shot away from danger.
53'
Pokorny makes a vital challenge in the Montpellier area to prevent Pastore from reaching Verratti's pass, and the visitors break...
51'
CLOSE! A needless error from Trapp, who nearly cuts his own side's lead in half! Claiming a looping ball, the goalkeeper then quickly hammered a clearance into Cavani's back, with Aurier fortunately on hand to recover the ball as it headed towards goal.
48'
Á. Di María has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by E. Cavani.
GOAL! Game over? Perhaps - Di Maria has PSG's second, sweeping a fine finish into the corner from 20 yards. 2-0.
Skhiri was caught in possession by Matuidi, with Cavani pouncing to backheel into Di Maria's path. Ruthless from the hosts.
47'
Lasne fires in the first cross of the second period for the visitors, but, with little support, it clears the box and PSG can build from the back.
46'
KICK-OFF: Off we go again, with Montpellier getting us started.
45'
HALF-TIME: PSG 1-0 Montpellier.
SAVE! Another tame Di Maria effort, another simple Pionnier save.
44'
BLOCK! A crucial intervention from Thiago Silva as Montpellier again forge a shooting opportunity. His full-length dive denies Sessegnon.
42'
CHANCE! Montpellier are seeing a lot of the ball again and a scramble sees the ball bounce kindly for Mbenza in the area. He lacks composure, though, and blazes high over the crossbar.
40'
CHANCE! Cavani tees up Aurier on the right, but he blazes a shot high and wide of the near post.
39'
After a promising break through Pastore and Matuidi, Cavani slows the move down and Di Maria gives the ball away. A missed opportunity for PSG, who had numbers forward.
38'
This game has settled down considerably since the flurry of action which contained the goal, but Montpellier are still pressing - as they have done from the off.
34'
Having taken the lead - and avoided an immediate equaliser - PSG are now happy to keep the ball. Finally crossing through Di Maria, it's far too long.
31'
BAR! What a response from Montpellier! Presnel Kimpembe fails to clear a corner and Ellyes Skhiri nods the ball on, clipping the bar with Trapp beaten. So, so close.
29'
E. Cavani has scored a goal for PSG! Assist by B. Matuidi.
It was Matuidi who charged in on the right to tee up Cavani.
GOAL! The breakthrough for PSG and Cavani! He sweeps home in the centre and the hosts are finally rewarded for a spell of pressure. 1-0.
27'
Superb defending from Lukas Pokorny! Pastore's backheel plays Maxwell in, but, as he takes his time to play a square pass, the defender recovers to clear ahead of Cavani.
26'
More PSG pressure, with Di Maria delivering another corner from the right, but the visitors hold firm this time and clear.
23'
POST! Montpellier are just hanging on a little now! A header from the corner crashes against the upright and Pionnier springs to the rescue to deny Cavani on the rebound.
22'
SAVE! Much better from Pionnier! Montpellier force a corner, but PSG counter through Pastora, then Di Maria, Verratti and Matuidi. The goalkeeper bravely blocks the latter's shot.
20'
BLOCK! It's wall-to-wall action now. Pionnier fumbles a low cross, Cavani looks to pounce and Montpellier throw bodies in the way. Verratti leaps into an acrobatic volley but directs it wide.
19'
OFFSIDE! Cavani thinks he's handed PSG the lead, but he looked to be a long way offside as he nodded Di Maria's cross into the net. A replay confirms as much.
18'
SAVE! And now Trapp is worked again - although Hilton's header, from a returned ball after the corner, may have been dropping wide.
17'
CHANCE! Another good move from the visitors. Mbenza again delivers, but Trapp beats the ball clear and Roussillon's tame effort is deflected behind.
16'
SAVE! A first stop for Pionnier, but it's a simple one. Di Maria lets fly from range, but his effort trundles through into the goalkeeper's arms.
13'
CHANCE! Now we've had an opening - and it falls the visitors' way! Mbenza crosses deep and Steve Mounie, arriving at the back post, fails to volley on target. A let-off for PSG.
12'
Laurent Pionnier has been a busy man so far, but he's yet to make a save. A number of PSG passes have made easy pickings for the Montpellier goalkeeper.
10'
Again, a PSG delivery goes astray. This time Di Maria looks for Edinson Cavani, but the ball speeds past the hosts' top marksman before he can make contact.
9'
PSG are starting to turn the screw, playing through Pastore on the left, but Blaise Matuidi, the hero in midweek, is unable to pick out a team-mate in the middle.
7'
It's been fairly even in the opening seven minutes, with attacks at both end cut short by stern defensive efforts. We await the first chance.
5'
Jerome Roussillon is an early threat for the visitors, constantly offering an option on the left flank, but his first crossing opportunity sees the ball deflected through to Kevin Trapp. At the other end, Angel di Maria's centre is blocked.
3'
Montpellier are matching PSG's energy so far, with Isaac Mbenza tracking back to harry Maxwell and the hosts' attack fizzling out.
2'
PSG twice give up possession cheaply in the opening minutes, but Stephane Sessegnon, against his former club, overhits a pass on the counter for Montpellier.
1'
