We're under way..
Welcome to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for live coverage of today's clash between AC MIlan and Bologna from Serie A. With just around 30 minutes remaining until kick-off, teams news will be in shortly.
Bologna Substitutes: Viviani, da Costa, Krafth, Rizzo, Petkovic, Oikonomou, Masina, Pulgar, Umar, Sarr, Nagy, Okwonkwo.
For the hosts, and with European qualification still not a certainty with Fiorentina breathing down their necks, their concern will be the fact that they remain winless in the competition since April 9th. On that occasion, and coincidentally enough, they managed to chalk up their last victory with a comprehensive 4-0 humiliation of Palermo.
For the visiting Rossoblu, their form has been somewhat indifferent but has shown that they're not short of goals by any stretch. With a last start 3-1 victory over US Pescara coming after a 3-1 loss to Empoli, the visitors won't be lacking for confidence as we await the opening whistle. Team news is now in and will follow..
AC Milan Starting XI (3-5-2): Donnarumma; Paletta, Romagnoli, Gomez, Montolivo, Bertolacci, Pasalic, Vangioni, Deulofeu, Lapadula, Bacca.
AC Milan Substitutes: Storari, Fernández, Zapata, Honda, Sosa, Kucka, Ocampos, Calabria, Locatelli, Cutrone, Guarnone.
HALF-TIME - Milan 0-0 Bologna: The Rossoneri have had plenty of chances to get on the scoreboard today but have only hit the target with one of their nine attempts on goal. Lapadula sent their best opening wide, with Bologna threatening intermittently but making for a routine day for Donnarumma. As it stands, Montella's men are eight points adrift of fifth-placed Atalanta and will have to contest the preliminary stages of next season's Europa League.
That's all for today. Thanks for joining us and have a great day.
FULL-TIME - Milan 3-0 Bologna: Second-half goals from Deulofeu, Honda and Lapadula have clinched sixth position in Serie A for the Rossoneri! After three seasons without European football, supporters will be able to watch their team compete in the Europa League next term. The fans are loving it and Montella is thrown in the air by the players, delighting in their achievement.
