We're underway in Estoril.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the friendly clash between Portugal and Cyprus at the Estadio Antonio Coimbra da Mota.
They will have to win today without many of their key players, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe playing in the Champions League final this evening. As a result, it will be a little while before they link up with their international colleagues.
Portugal are well on track to qualify for the World Cup fresh off their triumph at Euro 2016. Fernando Santos' men will be aiming to add another title to their haul in the Confederations Cup this month.
Cyprus are flailing in their bid to qualify for the World Cup, suffering defeats to Belgium, Greece and Bosnia-Herzegovina in their opening three matches.
However, they did bounce back with a win over Gibraltar and a draw with Estonia. They'll need to build on that with another win over Gibraltar next week, with the hope of gaining momentum this afternoon.
They will be anxious to build form ahead of the tournament and their World Cup qualifier away to Latvia with a win this afternoon.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with Portugal.
PORTUGAL (4-4-2): Patricio; Soares, Fonte, Neto, Eliseu; Joao Mario, Danilo, Moutinho, Silva; Nani, Andre Silva.
Portugal subs: Beto, Sa, Semedo, Alves, Guerreiro, Carvalho, Adrien, Gomes, Pizzi, Martins.
Cyprus go for a three-man attack against the European champions, with Andreas Makris, Konstantinos Charalambides and Piero Soteriou leading the line this afternoon.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Portugal still name a strong line-up even without the presence of Ronaldo. Andre Silva leads the line, with Joao Mario, Bernardo Silva and Nani in close support. Joao Moutinho and Danilo will play in a anchor role in midfield, allowing Cedric Soares and Eliseu to push down the flanks.
HALF-TIME: PORTUGAL 2-0 CYPRUS

The 30-year-old fired his side ahead in the 3rd minute before doubling his tally just before half-time, arcing both strikes into the top corner. Fernando Santos' men have been in complete control and have barely had to break out of first gear.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway shortly.
FULL-TIME: PORTUGAL 4-0 CYPRUS
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Portugal cruise to a comfortable win this afternoon over Cyprus thanks to a brace from Joao Moutinho, with two stunning first-half free-kicks. Andre Silva and Pizzi also found the net in the second half to send Selecao into their World Cup qualifier against Latvia next week with momentum.
