90' +3
M. Parolo gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! Lazio may be on course for an excellent victory, but they'll have to finish the game without Parolo, who has earned himself a second yellow card. He flew into a challenge from behind and failed to get much of the ball, leaving the referee with no choice but to give him his marching orders.
90' +2
Lukaku goes inches away from making it 5-1! A lovely low pass from Basta fizzes across the face of goal and looks set to reach Lukaku at the far post, but, despite his best efforts, the Belgian can't quite reach the ball and it rolls just an inch or so past his boot.
90' +1
Slightly sloppy defending by Lazio allows Kalinic to pick up the ball midway inside the hosts' half of the pitch. The striker breaks into the left-hand side of the box and is able to unleash his first decent chance of the game, but it's poorly executed and rolls comfortably wide of the far post.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be four minutes of added time.
89'

The corner fails to result in a chance on goal for the visitors and allows Lazio to counter-attack once again. Alberto bursts through the middle of the pitch and then holds up he ball on the edge of the penalty area, where he's clattered into by Bonaventura and wins his side a free-kick in a promising position.
87'
Calabria gets himself into a good position over on the right flank and quickly unleashes a cross-cum-shot that flies towards goal. It shouldn't cause too many problems for Strakosha, but he's forced into pushing the ball over the crossbar for a corner.
85'
Space opens up for Bonaventura just outside of the Lazio box and allows him to get a shot away, but his low effort doesn't have the power behind it to test Strakosha and the Albanian is easily able to deal with the danger in the middle of the goal.
83'
Another attempted Milan attacking fails to come to anything, allowing Lazio to hit them on a counter-attack once again. Immobile bursts forward and then tries to set up Lukaku over to his left, but the Belgian's run is mistimed and the linesman's flag denies him a way through on goal.

71'
What a chance for Immobile to score his fourth goal! A terrible pass from Kalinic can only find a sky blue shirt, allowing Lazio to counter-attack quickly once again. GOAL! Milan have pulled one back! A thumping strike by Calhanoglu fails to hit the target but flies into the feet of Montolivo, who spins quickly and easily beats Strakosha after being left all alone. He initially seemed to be in an offside position, but Bastos was playing him onside.

And the second is Nikola Kalinic, with Borini making way.
53'
Milan try to play out from the back, but they're quickly put under pressure by Lazio's hard-working front line, which has done well to pressurise the Rossoneri defenders. Bonucci almost loses the ball in a dangerous position, but it ends up deflecting out of play for a throw-in instead.
51'
An attempted Milan attacking move fails to come to anything and allows Lazio to pick up the ball once again. Alberto spots Donnarumma off his line and tries to beat the goalkeeper with an audacious strike from the halfway line, but, unsurprisingly his effort fails to hit the target.

We're underway once again!

GOAL! What a strike by Immobile! Lulic is left in acres of space over on the right wing, allowing him to swing in an excellent cross. It perfectly picks out Immobile, who then beats Donnarumma with a brilliant volley that leaves the Milan goalkeeper with no chance whatsoever.

42'
C. Immobile has scored a goal for Lazio! Assist by S. Lulić.

37'
PENALTY! Lazio keep pushing forward as they keep the danger alive. Alberto darts into the left-hand side of the box after getting the better of Kessie and is then clumsily bundled over by the Ivorian, leaving the referee with no choice but to point to the spot.
36'
Lucas Leiva dispossesses Montolivo and sets up Lazio to counter-attack quickly. Alberto and Immobile link up well before the Spaniard receives the ball once again, but he takes far too long to get his shot away and is eventually closed down by Bonucci.
35'
Milan's inability to find a way through the Lazio back line has forced them into launching plenty of hopeful balls forward. This time it's Suso who fires one over the top, but it's poorly hit and easily dealt with by Strakosha before it can find Cutrone.
33'
A downward header bounces into the heart of the Milan penalty area and almost finds Basta in front of goal, but he can't quite latch onto the ball ahead of Rodriguez and Lazio have to settle for another corner.
32'
Space opens up for Immobile, allowing him to charge forward on a great run. He's all alone and has to take on four Milan players, and he initially believes he's won the home side a corner only for the referee to award a goal-kick instead.
31'
Almost an opportunity for Lulic! Alberto sprays a lovely pass over to the right flank, where it finds Basta in plenty of space. The Serbian immediately whips a great cross into the middle of the box and towards Lulic, who rises high but can't quite reach the ball in front of goal.
29'

25'
Alberto goes down inside the Milan penalty area, but nothing is given! The Spaniard dances his way into the box and takes on Musacchio before quickly going down under a tackle from the defender. The Lazio players and fans all immediately appeal for the referee to point to the spot, but he doesn't agree and allows play to go on.

22'
Immobile is knocked to the ground by Kessie, resulting in a free-kick for Lazio. It's sent short and worked over to Dusan Basta, who fires a cross over to the edge of the penalty area and onto the chest of Senad Lulic. The Bosnian controls the ball well and then shoots, but Calabria sticks to him like glue and deals with the danger.
21'
Calabria darts into the right-hand side of the Lazio box as he tries to latch onto a lofted pass forward from Leonardo Bonucci, but he can't quite reach the ball and Stefan Radu is able to shepherd it behind for a goal-kick.
19'
Marco Parolo and Immobile link up really well as the midfielder sets up the latter to shoot, but he's quickly closed down and blocked off as soon as he pulls the trigger, denying him the opportunity to test Donnarumma.
17'
What a chance for Lazio! A swerving corner causes all sorts of problems for Gianluigi Donnarumma as the goalkeeper fails to properly track the flight of the ball. It bounces past his outstretched hand and towards the goal-line, where, somehow, Bastos can't convert from close range and instead chests the ball away from danger.
16'
Ciro Immobile goes down inside the box, but nothing is given! A curling cross is fired in from the right flank and looks set to find Immobile in front of goal, but the striker dives to the floor before it does. He turns and screams to the referee for a penalty, but the man in charge isn't at all interested and waves play on.
15'
Bastos enters the game and replaces Wallace.
Wallace is stretchered off to be replaced by Bastos in a substitution that Simone Inzaghi wouldn't have been wanting to make at this early stage of the game.
14'
Wallace limped back onto the pitch but immediately went back down once again, and he's now definitely going to have to be replaced. It looks as if Bastos is going to come on once the Brazilian can be removed.
13'
The game gets underway once again, and Milan push forward on another attacking move as they try to take make their numerical advantage count. They pass the ball around patiently before Borini eventually shoots from 20 yards out, but his effort is a poor one and bounces straight into the hands of Strakosha.
12'
This doesn't look good for Wallace, who went down soon after dispossessing Borini and seems to be in real discomfort. It looks as if it may be a calf problem, and he's going to have to leave the pitch for a few moments to receiving medical treatment.
11'
Borini gets himself into a good position over on the left wing as he breaks towards the box. He looks set to penetrate the penalty area, but a poor final touch allows Wallace to easily deal with the danger.
9'
Chance for Franck Kessie! Lucas Biglia wins the ball back for Milan, much to the annoyance of the Lazio fans, and bursts forward on a marauding run. He then sets up Kessie to shoot, and the Ivorian's thumping low effort forces Thomas Strakosha into making a decent save.
7'
Milan keep pushing forward as they enjoy a good start to the game. They try to find some space down the left flank but both Ricardo Rodriguez and Montolivo are unable to do so and have to work their way back towards the halfway line.
5'
Riccardo Montolivo picks up the ball over on the left wing and quickly swings in a dangerous cross that finds Patrick Cutrone. The striker meets it well and manages to cut the ball back to Fabio Borini, who quickly shoots but sends his rushed half-volley wide of the near post.
3'
After a patient start to the game from Milan. Mateo Musaccheo fires a great pass into the Lazio penalty area and towards the on-rushing Davide Calabria. The youngster does well to reach the ball, but his run into the box was slightly mistimed and he's quickly flagged offside.
1'
We're off! Milan get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Lazio and AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
Today’s game initially looked as if it wasn’t going to go ahead due to the torrential rainfall that’s soaked the Italian capital, but we’re now ready to go, albeit an hour later than scheduled. It’s a clash that represents the first real test of the season for both sides, with Milan looking to keep their 100% record intact and pick up only their second win on the Biancocelesti’s home turf since November 2009.
A new-look Milan side have started the new season brilliantly thanks to victories against Crotone and Cagliari. They’ve also managed to book a place in the group stage of the Europa League after easily getting the better of CSU Craiova and Shkendija in the qualifiers, and with an important clash against Austria Wien coming up on Thursday, the Rossoneri currently have plenty to play for.
This afternoon’s contest is certainly Milan’s biggest of the campaign so far, and it’s going to test a rejuvenated team to its limits. 17 players were away on international duty during the break - an all-time record for the club - meaning that there could be a few tired legs out on the pitch today. Vincenzo Montella has had to make some important decisions, with many of those players featuring this afternoon.
As for Lazio, they were riding high after beating Juventus 3-2 in last month’s Suppercoppa but suffered a disappointing goalless draw at home to newly promoted SPAL on the opening weekend of the season. They then went on to squeeze past Chievo with a 2-1 win, and Simone Inzaghi will be hoping for an improved performance from his side this afternoon.
All eyes will surely be on Lucas Biglia, the ex-Lazio captain who controversially left the club for Milan during the summer. He’s been named in the starting 11 to face his old club, and it’ll be interesting to see how he’s received by the home fans. He spent four successful seasons with the Biancocelesti, but the big spending Rossoneri weren’t able to be denied when they came calling back in July.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Milan XI (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Calabria, Bonucci, Musacchio, Rodriguez; Kessie, Biglia, Montolivo; Suso, Cutrone, Borini.
Lazio XI (3-5-2): Strakosha; Wallace, De Vrij, Radu; Basta, Parolo, Lucas, Lulic, Milinkovic-Savic; Alberto, Immobile.
Milan substitutes: Mauri, Bonaventura, Kalinic, Silva, Calhanoglu Romagnoli, Zapata, Abate, Storari, Antonelli, Locatelli, Antonio Donnarumma.
Simone Inzaghi has decided to name an unchanged Lazio side to the one that started the victory against Chievo just before the international break, whilst Milan boss Vincenzo Montella has made two alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Davide Calabria and Lucas Biglia coming into the starting line-up to replace the injured Andrea Conti and Hakan Calhanoglu, who drops to the substitutes’ bench.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: LAZIO 2-0 MILAN
Milan have plenty to ponder before the start of the second half, as they really have struggled to get into the game after making a relatively decent start. Lazio have been on top for most of the game so far and certainly deserve to be in front, and it's all thanks to two brilliant strikes by Immobile, who has caused all sorts of problems for the Rossoneri back line.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: LAZIO 4-1 MILAN
The referee blows his whistle for the final time and brings an end to what has been a brilliant afternoon for Lazio. The Biancocelesti thoroughly impressed from start to finish, and they always looked the most likely to leave with all three points as soon as they scored their first goal. From then onwards, they were in full control, with Milan rarely managing to test Strakosha in the hosts' goal.
