NO PENALTY GIVEN! INCREDIBLE! Well, for everything Martin Atkinson has got right tonight, he's got that one wrong. Richarlison's cross is blatantly blocked by the hand of Dier, who moved it down towards the ball in a clear attempt to block it from getting through, but it's gone unnoticed by Atkinson! Controversy at the finish!
90' +2
End-to-end action here as the tempo picks up drastically in stoppage-time! Watford have a corner now, on the end of a promising break that just didn't come to fruition for them as Carrillo's cross was blocked on the end of the move.
90'
Because of the stoppage for the sending off and the Gomes injury, we will see four minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
A. Gray enters the game and replaces T. Cleverley.
Richarlison gets yellow.
Watford really going for it now as they bring on striker Andre Gray for the final minutes, at the expense of Cleverley.
Richarlison fouls Dembele in an attempt to win the ball back and stop a break, which sees him pick up a yellow card.
86'
H. Winks enters the game and replaces D. Alli.
Dele Alli has a look of disappointment on his face as he shakes his head while making the slow walk off the pitch, replaced here by Harry Winks.
85'
It looks like if Watford are going to carve out a winner, Richarlison will have to be involved - no surprise there. He has been their most consistent threat, again winning a corner here, but Cleverley sends his delivery straight into the waiting arms of Lloris.
83'
STAT: Spurs have lost as many Premier League games this season as they did in the entirety of last season (4).
81'
Capoue twists and turns from about 20 yards out to carve out a bit of space for a shot, but he sends it straight at Lloris in the end. Watford just lacking a bit of cohesion here as they rely more on individual skill. They need to rally together and really make a bonafide push for a winner.
79'
Doucoure came about half an inch away from putting Watford ahead, but otherwise Spurs have done well in defence since Sanchez's sending off. Still over 10 minutes left for them to see this one out, as they simply cannot afford a loss, but even a draw would be a bit of a blow for them in the top-four race.

Description
77'
É. Lamela enters the game and replaces Son Heung-Min.
Son off here for Spurs as Erik Lamela takes his place. That's both scorers in this match subbed off now by their respective managers.
75'
Richarlison meets a cross at the far post, but he heads it into Trippier as it deflects behind for a corner. Watford trying to pour it on again here, and you have to think they would be disappointed if they don't come away with three points.
73'
M. Zeegelaar gets yellow.
Zeegelaar into the book as well now, and a good job by Atkinson to go back to the incident after letting play continue with Spurs breaking, as the Watford full-back tugged back on the shirt of Dele in the build-up there.
71'
J. Vertonghen gets yellow.
FLIRTING WITH DISASTER! Vertonghen gets himself in a horrible mess as he loses possession to Capoue, before grabbing onto the Watford substitute and dragging him to ground! It's only a yellow card, but he's lucky he had cover or that could have been another sending off.
69'
Spurs issue another warning as they threaten again down that right flank. Gomes and company are able to scramble it clear, but the keeper stays down here after taking a knock to the head.
67'
A. Carrillo enters the game and replaces R. Pereyra.
Peruvian winger Andre Carrillo is introduced for the final 20-plus minutes here, replacing Pereyra.
66'
STAT: Watford have failed to win all of their previous eight Premier League encounters with Tottenham Hotspur (W0 D2 L6); the most games they’ve played against any opponent without winning in the competition.
64'
M. Sissoko enters the game and replaces C. Eriksen.
É. Capoue enters the game and replaces C. Kabasele.
Moussa Sissoko comes on to replace Eriksen here as Spurs switch to a 4-3-3 from a 4-2-3-1.
An attacking switch for Watford as Etienne Capoue replaces centre-half Kabasele, who was probably a soft foul away from being off here.
63'
HOW HAS THAT STAYED OUT?! Oh my word, what a hit! Trippier clears a corner at the near post, but only as far as Doucoure who hits it first time, but his blistering effort smashes off the inside of the post, bounces out across the face of goal and runs all the way out of play - yes, it was struck with that much power.
62'
No way out here for Tottenham, and you almost get the sense that the goal is coming for Watford, with Vicarage Road just waiting to erupt in celebration. Everyone getting involved here for the hosts as the tempo picks up while they keep Spurs hemmed in at the back.
60'
BETTER! Great period of pressure here from Watford as they're starting to make it count with the extra man. Richarlison nearly gets on the end of a teasing ball in from the left, and Spurs are unable to relieve the pressure as the hosts remain in possession here.
58'
Well the last thing you want to do here if you're Watford is level the playing field, so Marco Silva will probably want to have a word here with Kabasele, who commits a senseless foul less than 10 minutes after going into the book. He's walking a tight line.
56'
STAT: Tottenham have lost three consecutive away league games for the first time under Mauricio Pochettino. They last lost four in a row on the road in January 2009 under Harry Redknapp.
54'
Opportunity knocks for Watford now, but can they take advantage? It will be far from straightforward as Spurs show us here, Kane showing good strength and technique to win a free-kick in the final third, a warning sign from the 10 men of Spurs, though the hosts deal with the threat here.
52'
D. Sánchez goes off after a red card!
SPURS DOWN TO 10 MEN! Great work from referee Martin Atkinson to take his time here and think about his decision, and he makes the right one in the end. Richarlison nicks the ball beyond Sanchez, who sticks an arm out to block the attacker's path, catching him with a vicious elbow. There's no room for that in the game.
50'
C. Kabasele gets yellow.
Kabasele has a yellow card to go with his goal now, sliding in to take out Kane out of frustration after failing to win the ball off him initially.
48'
It hasn't been the liveliest of starts to this second half as both sides take a bit of time to try and get into a rhythm here. Neither side have mounted an attack since the restart, but surely it's coming.
46'
Spurs get the second half underway...
45' +1
HALF-TIME: WATFORD 1-1 TOTTENHAM.
45'
There will be one minute added on at the end of this first half.
43'
Certainly not fizzling out here as we approach the interval. Watford are back on the front foot now as this back and forth continues. It's been an excellent watch, and regardless of what happens over these final two minutes it is perfectly poised for the second half.
41'
Dele has really grown into this match as it has progressed, and that's a positive sign from Spurs who really are relying on him to pick up his game after struggling so much over the last few weeks. He wins a free-kick here to put the pressure back on Watford, but Davies eventually bounces an effort wide from 25 yards.
39'
STAT: Just 38.1% of Watford’s Premier League points this season have been won in home games (8/21) – the lowest such ratio in the division.
37'
Eriksen's free-kick is straight at Gomes, who promptly starts Watford back the other way. The seas part for Doucoure, who has a cracking effort at goal from just over 20 yards, but is whistles whiskers wide of the far post.
36'
T. Cleverley gets yellow.
Late and lazy from Cleverley, who trips up Dele to pick up the first yellow card of the match.
35'
That equaliser has done wonders for Spurs' confidence. They were undoubtedly shaken after conceding the opener, but the quick response has helped them get back on top here. They remain very sharp on the ball, forcing Watford to chase.
33'
Spurs have been clinical in passing out from the back, and that has been the difference in this match thus far. Watford's attacking threat has been sporadic, largely due to the fact that they have not been as decisive in transition.
31'
STAT: Watford last picked up a top-flight victory against Spurs in the final game of the 1986-87 season (May 1987); winning 1-0 thanks to a Kenny Jackett penalty.
29'
There's every indication that this is not going to be a 1-1 final. There appears to be more goals in this one, and at the risk of stating the obvious, the next one will be crucial. It all boils down to the confidence meter for Spurs - which way will the pendulum swing?
27'
This has blossomed into a wonderfully spirited contest at Vicarage Road! What was one scrappy and tight in midfield has transitioned into an open, free-flowing match. The high tempo is benefiting both sides, who are keen to push forward in search of goals.
25'
Son Heung-Min has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur! Assist by C. Eriksen.
That's what we're used to seeing from Eriksen, who provides the assist.
PARITY RESTORED AT VICARAGE ROAD! Moments after Watford had a penalty claim denied by referee Martin Atkinson, Spurs break quickly, and Eriksen provides a stunning delivery across the face of goal for Son, who simply couldn't miss.
23'
Good response from Spurs to an acrobatic overhead-kick from Pereyra that was blocked, as they break the other way through Kane, who sends a teasing ball across the penalty area for Dele, but the midfielder is unable to get on the end of it.
21'
STAT: Watford’s two home wins this season have come from both games against London opposition (Arsenal and West Ham United).
19'
Watford are looking much more dangerous here, beaming with confidence following their opener, which halted their poor start dead in its tracks. The next 10 minutes are going to be huge for both these sides. Can Watford maintain this momentum or will Spurs be able to show a bit of fight?
17'
This is very much a worst-case scenario for fragile Tottenham, who could not afford to concede first here. They're in a bad state at the moment and that's done a number on their confidence, as they continue to struggle here to try and get their rhythm back.
15'
Spurs are staring a third successive league defeat square in the face here! It can't be a case of 'here we go again' from them. They have to put that behind them straight away and get back to playing the way they know they can.
13'
C. Kabasele has scored a goal for Watford! Assist by T. Cleverley.
Excellent delivery from Cleverley who provides the assist.
MORE MISERY FOR SPURS! Watford show their first signs of life in attack as Richarlison breaks swiftly and wins a corner, which Kabasele does well to run on to meet, jumping above Kane and the static Spurs defence as he sends a glancing header in at the far post!
11'
STAT: Watford have lost each of their last two league games against Tottenham by three goals or more; the Hornets have never lost three successive games versus an opponent by such a margin in their league history.
9'
It's been a very bright start for Spurs, who have played the greater part of these opening minutes deep in the Watford end. The hosts can't seem to keep the ball when they win it back, and that's led to them having to drop a bit deeper than they would like to in defence.
7'
Kane has picked up a knock after crashing hard into the post after rushing on to try and get on the end of a smart cross from Trippier. There may have been a hint of a foul there, as Spurs have reason to argue their case here, but the good news is that Kane appears to be fine.
5'
Well the hosts are just looking a bit timid right now as they try and pass their way out from the back amidst high pressing from Spurs. There are gaps to be exploited for Watford if they can get the ball beyond that first wave of pressure, though.
3'
Watford trying to get themselves organised in the early minutes here, as they're issued an early warning from Spurs, but are let off the hook as Son is flagged for offside. Both sides have enjoyed some possession here, but it has yet to really kick-off.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Watford in yellow as they get the match underway, attacking right to left, with Spurs in white.
Hello and welcome to Vicarage Road for live coverage of this match as Watford aim to stay in the European race when they host a Tottenham side desperate to get back to winning ways!
At the close of play on November 5, there were eight points and six places separating these two sides. Fast forward to today and they are right next to each other in the table, Watford eighth and Spurs seventh, with the Hornets in position to pull level with a victory this afternoon.
Spurs are in a bit of a desperate situation having tumbled down to seventh with one win from their last five in the league, and they’re having to play catch-up now as they try and claw their way back into the top-four race, with three teams to overtake and four points to make up.
For Watford, this is a result they need to prove themselves as contenders for Europe after being dismantled by Manchester United on Tuesday night. There’s no way Marco Silva will allow them to come out flat again today.
This is a game Tottenham need to win to avoid falling further behind those ahead of them, and it also marks the start of an incredibly busy period for them with six matches in the next 22 days, which includes trips to Manchester City and Burnley.
SUBS: Vorm, Aurier, Rose, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Llorente.
Will Hughes limped off in Watford's defeat to Manchester United on Tuesday night, and he misses out today with Roberto Pereyra replacing him. It's one of two changes made by Marco Silva, the other seeing Troy Deeney come in to lead the line, replacing Andre Gray.
Mauricio Pochettino makes three changes from the defeat to Leicester in midweek, as he tries to get his side back on track. The continued rotation of the full-backs sees Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies restored at the expense of Serge Aurier and Danny Rose, while Moussa Sissoko gives way for Heung-min Son.
Heung-min Son cancells out Christian Kabasele's opener as Watford and Spurs head into the interval on even terms at Vicarage Road, with the first-half tempo suggesting there are plenty of fireworks to come following the interval.
Tottenham will take the point and run. It's not something they would have said coming into the match, but they somehow manage to escape with a point following a Davinson Sanchez sending off early in the second half, an Abdoulaye Doucoure effort off the woodwork and a clear shout for a Watford penalty not awarded in stoppage-time.
The Hornets will feel they deserved more from this match, for a whole number of reasons, but they have to settle for the point in the end as they are held by the 10 men of Spurs. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye.
