An absolutely mental game of football and it isn't over, with Bournemouth winning a late corner.
90' +3
Penalty saved by A. Begović!
IT'S SAVED!!! A terrible, terrible penalty from Christan Benteke and it's an easy save from Begovic. Why did he even take it? Milojevic had already scored today and has been deadly from the spot!
So so easy for Begovic!
90' +1
FIVE minutes added on at Selhurst Park. Plenty of time for a winner!
PENALTY! Kevin Friend hasn't been popular amongst the Crystal Palace fans but they'll love him for this! An easy ball over the top unleashes Benteke. Zaha then takes over and sees an initial shot blocked. He gets the ball again and pushes forward, Daniels dives in and gets a slight touch of the ball. It's a difficult one but it goes in the favour of the hosts!
89'
Crystal Palace are banging on the door. Steve Cook makes a crucial sliding challenge to bring a threatening attack to an end, with Loftus-Cheek charging forward, but the Eagles come again and again.
87'
B. Afobe enters the game and replaces R. Fraser.
WHAT A MISS! Dear oh dear! Milojevic, who has already scored a penalty, is gifted the ball after a poor defensive header from Steve Cook. It falls to him in the middle of the box and with plenty of time, he strikes an effort wide of the goal.
Final change of the game for Bournemouth and it shows their attacking intent, with Benik Afobe introduced for Ryan Fraser.
86'
SAVE! Big hand from Loftus-Cheek's low shot from Asmir Begovic. Crystal Palace get a corner and now seem to be on the front foot.
84'
Selhurst Park has become used to late drama under Roy Hodgson's short tenure and there's still plenty of time here for the Eagles to strike again.
82'
C. Benteke gets yellow.
After an end-to-end first period, the second-half has been comparable to a game of chess. Both sides are biding their time and assessing risk against reward. The rewards, of course, are huge but losing this game would be a huge blow.
Another yellow card for Crystal Palace and it's one that has been coming. I've lost count of the number of fouls Benteke has committed but it's one too many, as he gets a booking.
80'
C. Wilson enters the game and replaces J. Defoe.
Three points are here for the taking and Bournemouth know it. Defoe won't get his hat-trick but Callum Wilson's pace off the bench could cause problems.
79'
J. McArthur gets yellow.
McArthur becomes the latest man in the book, after an obvious foul in the middle of the field.
Minute
Description
78'
B. Sako enters the game and replaces A. Townsend.
I mentioned the limited options that Roy Hodgson has at his disposal and he's made the only real chance he could here, bringing on Bakary Sako. Townsend is the man replaced.
77'
A smart bet for Bournemouth would be to take Lewis Cook off. He's played a crucial role in the Bournemoith midfield but he's committed a number of fouls since the break and is now walking a tightrope after receiving a yellow card earlier. If the Cherries aren't careful, they could finish with ten-men.
CHANCE! How big a moment could that be! A free-kick from a wide area is again nodded on by Benteke, with Dann having the goal at his mercy at the far post. He's already netted once but this time he fires way over the bar.
76'
Friend continues to be the arch-enemy of the home faithful, after awarding Defoe a free-kick. It's within striking distance for the Cherries but Ibe wastes the chance, firing way over the top.
74'
Zaha is flagged offside, bringing an end to a decent attacking move for Crystal Palace, but there remains holes in the Bournemouth defence that the Eagles can look to exploit in the closing stages.
71'
L. Cook gets yellow.
W. Zaha gets yellow.
It's boiling over! Lewis Cook has been guilty of a few challenges today and is fortunate not to have been penalised already. He gets a yellow card here for a cynical foul on Zaha, who is furious.
Zaha's reaction earns him a booking, to the fury of the home fans. He can't have too many complaints but Palace feel aggrieved that Lewis Cook had not been punished already.
69'
Attacking wise, Crystal Palace are looking a bit flat. The issue is they don't really have the options on the bench to introduce.
67'
Crystal Palace have done well in this second-half to limit the influence that King and Defoe have had at the game but they're still looking second best as things stand. Is a draw good enough? That's debatable.
65'
J. Ibe enters the game and replaces J. Stanislas.
J. McArthur enters the game and replaces Y. Cabaye.
The game is certainly there for the taking and Bournemouth make their first tactical change, introducing Jordon Ibe. Stanislas is the man to be replaced.
Palace also make a change, their second of the game, with James McArthur replacing Cabaye. The Frenchman may have sustained a knock from an earlier challenge.
63'
CHANCE! Steve Cook has been poor today but that tackle was brilliant. Townsend cuts the ball back towards Cabaye but the defender is on hand to take the ball off him, even winning a goal kick.
61'
Almost forgot about Tomkins' problem, he certainly looks to be fit enough to continue and that's a huge relief for Hodgson.
59'
CHANCE! Oh dear Defoe! Stanislas charges down a loose ball and delivers a fine ball into the middle where the English veteran is lurking. You'd put your house on him scoring from there but he doesn't even hit the target!
57'
Bournemouth are running the show in this second-half but their defensive performance continues to be poor. Stanislas has just forced Speroni into action but it's a comfortable save.
55'
Bournemouth riding their luck, as Zaha has far too much room to run into. His cut across to Benteke is poor though and the Cherries, somehow, survive again. I hate to mention him again but Steve Cook will have nightmares about this game, he's been sub-par throughout.
54'
Very sloppy from Bournemouth at the back, who concede possession after Begovic is forced to put the ball out of play. Zaha, as ever, has the run of the game down the flank but his cross is too deep, with Cabaye then firing a tame effort that Begovic easily gathers.
52'
Bournemouth starting strong in the second-period, knocking the ball around in the sort of fashion you now expect from an Eddie Howe side, but Crystal Palace do look dangerous when they get on the ball.
50'
Sometimes the puns just write themselves... Kevin Friend isn't the most popular man at Selhurst Park this afternoon, despite not really being unfair to the hosts. That's the life of a football supporter I suppose, anything against you is clear bias!
48'
Concern for Tomkins is not over, with the former West Ham man still looking sluggishly. He'll be given ten minutes or so to see how he responds but Hodgson may be forced off the the the second of the central pairing that started the game.
47'
Wasteful! King weaves his way through the defence, though benefitting from a lucky bounce, and he pulls back to Surman on the edge of the area. His shot is poor though, firing over the bar.
45' +3
J. Defoe has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth! Assist by L. Cook.
Lewis Cook is the man with the assist but I don't think he would have expected anything from that. Lightning strikes twice for Defoe.
GOAL! Unbelievable! Defoe gets his second of the game out of nowhere! A simple ball over the top finds the veteran and he hooks a volley over the head of Speroni. A fantastic finish. What a game!
45' +2
I don't think anyone wants this half to end, it's been a spectacular 45 minutes!
45' +1
Into four minutes of added time at the end of the first-half and Zaha appeals for a penalty, which he was never likely to get, and instead concedes a free-kick as he handles the ball on the ground.
45'
Back underway for the second-half, with Crystal Palace now kicking to the left. Hopefully the second period is as brilliant as the first!
44'
S. Dann has scored a goal for Crystal Palace! Assist by Y. Cabaye.
Bournemouth's defensive line is being breached far too easily. Ake is on hand with a superb sliding challenge to prevent Benteke charging through but the Eagles just keep on coming.
GOAL! They're in front! Scott Dann, on as a substitute, has scored for the fourth time in a row against Bournemouth. Cabaye drives a low ball across the area and the defender has an easy finish at the far post. What a turnaround!
Cabaye's delivery was exactly where it needed to be and the ball was on the plate for Dann. Excellent from the Frenchman.
43'
That equaliser has sparked the Palace fans back into life. Both Benteke and Zaha have got the better of Steve Cook this half and Eddie Howe needs to find a solution for the second-half.
41'
Penalty goal scored by L. Milivojević for Crystal Palace!
GOAL! No nonsense from Milojevic, who strikes high into the right corner and gives Begovic no chance. Crystal Palace have an equaliser and it's no more than they deserve.
40'
A. Begović gets yellow.
PENALTY! Crystal Palace get the chance! Benteke towers above cook and heads into Zaha, beating Ake and poking the ball past Begovic. The keeper brings him down and it's an easy decision for Kevin Friend.
Begovic is booked for that incident but the biggest punishment could follow.
39'
Bournemouth now enjoying a better period in the game and Palace, as was the concern after losing Sakho to injury, have lost their spark. Benteke is now being clumsy in attack, conceding a few fouls.
37'
Big chance for Bournemouth and it comes about following a mistake from Schlupp. He sloppily gives away possession and Bournemouth work the ball into the area superbly, with Defoe skipping past the defender but the move is brought to a close after Speroni rushes off his line.
35'
It's not been Crystal Palace's day so far. They've been the better side but have had nothing to show for it. They've also lost Sakho to injury and Tomkins is also looking rather sluggish.
34'
L. Milivojević gets yellow.
Another yellow card for Palace and Miliojevic is the man penalised, taking down Fraser to quell a Bournemouth attack.
33'
CHANCE! Palace are all over Bournemouth! Zaha continues to run the show and finds Benteke at the back post. He heads back across to the middle but nobody has followed it in. A true waste!
32'
Handball shouts! Crystal Palace shout for a penalty as Townsend's cross strikes the arm of Charlie Daniels, though he's too close for it to be deliberate and would have been unfortunate to have been penalised.
30'
J. Tomkins gets yellow.
First yellow card of the game is issued to Tomkins, who bundles over King to bring an end to a dangerous looking attack. Bournemouth hit the resulting free-kick too hard though.
29'
Bournemouth's defence is leaking goals and it's apparent that Steve Cook isn't the plumber they need to plug the holes in their defence. Returning to the side today in place of the suspended Adam Smith, Zaha has run all over him so far.
27'
Crucial period ahead for Crystal Palace now, having lost Sakho, and the danger is it might take some sting out of their play.
25'
S. Dann enters the game and replaces M. Sakho.
The Eagles now have a problem. A freak injury for Sakho sees the Palace skipper taken off after over stretching, replaced by Scott Dann.
24'
Crucial tackle! Bournemouth hit on the break with Sakho down injured and playing everyone onside. Defoe has the goal at his mercy but Tomkins superbly gets back to make a vital tackle.
22'
Zaha is on fire, Bournemouth's defence is terrified! He celebrates his 200th league appearance today and the Ivorian international has been electric so far.
19'
Palace are certainly unfortunate to be behind given the way they've played but that's the clinical nature that Defoe can be provide. One chance, one goal- and it's given Bournemouth something to defend.
17'
How did that not go in!? An inswinging corner is knocked down by Benteke, with Loftus-Cheek only managing to get a small touch on the ball. It's scrappy in the area but is hooked off the line by a Bournemouth man. Their defence isn't looking solid though.
16'
SAVE! That would have been controversial! The ball breaks for Crystal Palace after striking the referee but Begovic superbly prevents Benteke from scoring the equaliser. Townsend then sees a crucial block prevent his shot from finding the net- they do have a corner though.
14'
Crystal Palace have won only one of the last 15 games where they have conceded first, so Hodgson's men certainly face a difficult task ahead of them if they're to turn this one around.
12'
Palace started the game strong and now need a response. They won't be happy with the goal though, as Kevin Friend didn't spot a foul on Schlupp inside the area.
10'
J. Defoe has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth! Assist by A. Surman.
Surman's work in the corner routine was superb and he's the man that put the ball on a plate for the veteran striker.
GOAL! Bournemouth take the lead! The Cherries pick their corner routine perfectly, working it short and driving a low ball into the area where Defoe is on hand to easily slot into the bottom left-hand corner. His 200th career league goal!
9'
Palace continue to look the better of the two sides, winning a free-kick on the right that's lofted into the middle where Loftus-Cheek heads wide of the target. Immediately Bournemouth hit a return, earning a corner at the other end.
8'
An exciting start to the game and the Palace supporters are in full voice. The game may not have stood out on paper but we may be set to see an early Christmas cracker here.
6'
SAVE! Brilliant start at Selhurst Park, with Bournemouth calling Speroni in action. Defoe of all people is present to head towards goal but it's straight at the Eagles stopper.
5'
Palace are on fire! Zaha has got the better of Steve Cook in the opening few minutes and looks devastating. He skins the defender again, playing a ball into the area where Benteke knocks over the bar.
4'
CHANCE! Crystal Palace are the first to carve an opening, with Fosu-Mensah unleashing Townsend down the right. The winger plays a low ball into the area where Benteke is lurking but the Belgian is unable to get a decisive touch to the ball, with it instead going behind for a corner.
CLOSE! Palace looking dangerous, with the corner leading to superb footwork on the right from Zaha. His ball into the area is cleared away but only as far as Schlupp, who strikes a fierce attempt over the bar.
2'
Bournemouth starting this game on the front foot and both teams have a line-up that can be considered dangerous, with Defoe & King along with Zaha & Benteke capable of causing the opposing defence problems.
1'
KICK-OFF! We're underway at Selhurst Park, where Bournemouth get us started and kick to the left.
CHANCE! Ibe'sfirst real influence of the game sees Ibe pick up the ball outside the penalty box and fire at goal, with the Crystal Palace defence giving him far too much room. Fortunately, Speroni is on hand to make a save.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, two sides who will be concerned about their top-flight status.
Crystal Palace have certainly improved under the tenure of Roy Hodgson, standing unbeaten in their past four matches, but two consecutive goalless draws will have the Eagles concerned. They've scored just eight goals this season in 14 matches, the joint-lowest tally in the entire division.
Bournemouth are in slightly more comfort than their South London counterparts but sit just five points ahead of the Eagles as it stands. The Cherries have lost just one of their last five Premier League matches but have lacked consistency this season, whilst their return of 13 goals in 14 matches is also a concern.
Crystal Palace XI: Julian Speroni; Timothy Fosu-Mensah, James Tomkins, Mamadou Sakho, Jeffrey Schlupp; Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yohan Cabaye, Luka Milivojevic, Andros Townsend; Christian Benteke, Wilfried Zaha.
Bournemouth XI: Asmir Begovic; Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniels; Junior Stanislas, Lewis Cook, Andrew Surman, Ryan Fraser; Joshua King; Jermain Defoe.
Crystal Palace subs: Wayne Hennessey, Jason Puncheon, Scott Dann, Patrick van Aanholt, Martin Kelly, James McArthur, Bakary Sako.
Bournemouth subs: Artur Boruc, Jack Simpson, Jordon Ibe, Callum Wilson, Dan Gosling, Harry Arter, Benik Afobe.
Crystal Palace make two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with fellow strugglers West Brom this weekend, with Kelly dropping to the bench and Joel Ward misses out through injury. Fosu-Mensah and Tomkins are therefore introduced into a defensive line that has kept two consecutive clean-sheets.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe makes just a single change to the side that drew 1-1 with Southampton in the South Coast derby last weekend and it's an enforced change. Adam Smith is suspended after an accumulation of five yellow cards, with his spot in defence being taken by Steve Cook.
And breathe! The first-half comes to an end and gives us all some rest after a frankly ridiciulously good opening period. Defoe gave the Cherries the lead but Crystal Palace hit twice in quick succession to turn things around. It seemed that they'd have the lead heading into the break but Defoe's stunner pulls Bournemouth level.
Crystal Palace have looked dangerous throughout the half, with Benteke and Zaha both a threat in the attacking third. Roy Hodgson's side were unfortunate to find themselves behind and fully deserve the goals they scored but Defoe's late equaliser has shot down the Eagles from their flight.
Bournemouth's defence has parted far too easily this afternoon and any Christmas biblical references can be put aside for now, as it's instead looked like Moses parting the red sea. Steve Cook has endured a nightmare return but Eddie Howe's side do at least have a bright spark in their attack, with Defoe finally hitting form and now chasing a hat-trick.
It's over! What an incredible game! Jermain Defoe gave Bournemouth the lead but Crystal Palace responded with two goals to turn the tide, with Milojevic scoring a penalty and Scott Dann giving the Eagles the lead. Defoe struck again with a fantastic effort in the dying moments of the first-period and the madness continued after the break. Into injury time, Zaha won a penalty and Benteke saw his effort saved by Begovic.
On the bright side for Crystal Palace, it's five matches unbeaten. The downside is that they've drawn four of those matches and wasted a number of opportunities to take all three points here. Benteke's miss will grab the headlines but it wasn't the only opportunity missed by the Eagles, who now face a crucial run of games against Watford, Leicester and Swansea before Christmas.
Bournemouth were certainly fortunate to get a point today, with their defensive performance being woeful. The late penalty save from Begovic will feel like a victory though but the Cherries are just three points above the relegation zone. Worryingly, they now have an incredibly difficult run with games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City in the coming weeks.
