What a chance for Swansea to pull one back at the death! Abraham, who has barely touched the ball since coming on, latches onto a cross from Sanches and sends a looping header towards goal, but it's well saved by Mignolet, who parries the ball over the top of the crossbar with an acrobatic stop.
90' +2
Lallana is clumsily caught by Naughton just outside of the visitors' penalty area, resulting in a free-kick for Liverpool in a very dangerous position. Coutinho steps up and shoots, but his chipped effort ends up hitting the top of the wall.
90' +1
Solanke goes close once again! Milner breaks into the left-hand side of the Swansea penalty area and quickly fizzes a dangerous pass across the face of goal. Solanke desperately sticks out a leg, but he can't quite latch onto the ball.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be three minutes of added time.
88'
Another great opportunity for Solanke! This time it's Oxlade-Chamberlain who lifts a pass over the Swansea back line and over to Solanke, who unleashes a rocket of a volley that sails just inches wide of the far post after leaving Fabianski rooted to the spot.
87'
And now Solanke goes close! A lofted pass is fired over to the left-hand side of the Swansea box and picks out Milner in a good position. He brings the ball down well and knocks it over to Solanke, who shoots from close range but can't guide his close-range shot past Fabianski.
85'
Almost another for Oxlade-Chamberlain! Swansea are caught at sixes and sevens at the back, allowing Oxlade-Chamberlain to storm through once again. He heads into the penalty area and quickly shoots, but Olsson is there to deflect the effort behind for a corner.
84'
Ayew quickly breaks down the left wing from the restart and wins Swansea a rare corner. It's whipped into the middle of the box and finds Mawson, who rises high but sends his headed effort well wide of the goal.
83'
GOAL! Oxlade-Chamberlain extends Liverpool's lead! Swansea aren't able to clear the danger after Lallana's strike is blocked, allowing Oxlade-Chamberlain to latch onto the ball and easily out-muscle Ayew before firing in a well-struck volley.
82'
A. Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored a goal for Liverpool!
Lallana almost makes it 5-0! Lallana somehow manages to burst into the left-hand side of the Swansea box after getting the better of several defenders far too easily, but his eventual shot is well blocked by Mawson before it can test Fabianski.

Description
80'
It's all Liverpool at the moment as they comfortably hold onto the ball inside the Swansea half of the pitch. It's been an incredibly comfortable evening for the Reds, who haven't looked like conceding since taking the lead so early on.
78'
Renato Sanches enters the game and replaces L. Fer.
Swansea have made a change, with Fer making way for Renato Sanches in the heart of midfield.
77'
Swansea are able to push forward on one of their first attacks of the second half, and they win themselves a rare corner after Klavan's low cross is deflected behind for a corner. It's quickly whipped towards the near post, but Liverpool have plenty of bodies back to deal with the danger.
75'
J. Milner enters the game and replaces A. Robertson.
Liverpool have made their third and final change, with James Milner coming on to replace Robertson at left-back.
Alexander-Arnold latches onto the ball on the right-hand side of the Swansea box after the visitors are unable to fully clear the danger. He twists and turns and initially looks as if he's got the better of Ayew, but it's the Ghanaian who eventually comes out on top. Only momentarily, mind, as he then clumsily knocks the ball behind for a needless corner.
74'
Oxlade-Chamberlain breaks into the left-hand side of the visitors' penalty area and looks as if he's going to be able to get a shot away, but he's well marshalled by the Swansea back line and is dispossessed before he's able to do so.
72'
It looks as if Swansea are going to be presented with another opportunity to counter-attack after some space opens up for Abraham out wide, but Klavan is easily able to beat the striker to the ball before knocking it back to Mignolet.
70'
Can loses the ball just inside the Swansea half of the pitch and presents the visitors with a chance to counter-attack, but, luckily for the German, Ayew can't do anything with the ball and is easily dispossessed by Alexander-Arnold on the halfway line.
69'
A. Lallana enters the game and replaces Mohamed Salah.
Meanwhile, Adam Lallana comes on to take the place of Salah.
68'
D. Solanke enters the game and replaces Roberto Firmino.
Firmino receives a rousing round of applause from the home fans as he's replaced by Dominic Solanke.
66'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Mohamed Salah.
GOAL! It's yet another for Liverpool! The Swansea back line is carved open by Salah, who takes advantage of an awful pass from Fer by breaking into the left-hand side of the box. He then cuts a pass over to Firmino, who comfortably knocks the ball into the back of an empty net from a few yards out.
That was great play by Salah, who easily penetrated the penalty area before selflessly setting up Firmino, but, once again, Swansea shot themselves in the foot with really poor play inside their own half of the pitch.
65'
T. Alexander-Arnold has scored a goal for Liverpool!
S. Clucas enters the game and replaces Roque Mesa.
GOAL! Alexander-Arnold scores his first ever Premier League goal! A curling cross from Robertson can only find Mawson, who gets a head on the ball and nods it down to Alexander-Arnold. The youngster latches onto the ball and quickly shoots, and his thumping half-volley flies into the back of the net off the underside of the crossbar.
Swansea have made another change, with Mesa making way for Sam Clucas.
64'
Salah tries to pick out Firmino on the edge of the Swansea box but can't quite do so, sending the ball over to Alexander-Arnold instead. The full-back breaks towards the byline and chips a cross into the heart of the penalty area, where Fabianski darts out to deal with the danger.
62'
T. Abraham enters the game and replaces O. McBurnie.
Swansea have made their first substitution of the night, with Tammy Abraham coming on to replace McBurnie.
60'
Big opportunity for Fer! Routledge is left in acres of space over on the right wing, allowing him to drift out wide before curling a beautiful cross into the box. It perfectly picks out Fer, but the Dutchman ends up dragging his shot a few yards wide of the goal.
58'
Another chance for Salah! This time it's Robertson who causes all sorts of problems for the Swansea back line with a lofted pass forward, but Salah can't quite guide his strike past Fabianski and sees his effort smothered by the goalkeeper.
57'
Salah almost makes it 3-0! The Egyptian peels away from Naughton and latches onto a clever cut-back from Coutinho before shooting, but his bouncing effort misses the far post by a yard or so.
56'
M. Olsson gets yellow.
Alexander-Arnold fires a cross-field pass over to the left wing and into the path of Firmino, who manages to latch onto the ball marginally ahead of Olsson, forcing the Swedish defender into bringing him crashing to the ground with a mistimed tackle just outside of the penalty area.
54'
Salah breaks into the right-hand side of the visitors' box and latches onto a well-placed lofted pass, but he's quickly closed down and has to settle for a corner. It fails to result in a chance on goal, however, as Swansea are easily able to clear the danger without too many problems.
52'
Roberto Firmino has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Philippe Coutinho.
GOAL! Liverpool double their lead! The home side win themselves a free-kick midway inside the Swansea half of the pitch, and it's beautifully fired in by Coutinho. Firmino easily skips away from Fernandez and latches onto the cross before easily beating Fabianski from close range with a half-volleyed strike.
Once again, it was excellent delivery from Coutinho, who perfectly picked out Firmino in front of goal. Swansea should have done better, mind, as they allowed Firmino to peel away far too easily.
51'
Salah goes close! Firmino breaks down the right wing before cutting a pass over to Salah on the edge of the Swansea penalty area. The Egyptian dances his way round Fernandez and shoots, but his effort is comfortably saved by Fabianski.
49'
A Swansea corner initially fails to result in a chance on goal, but Ayew is able to pick up the ball 20 yards out before getting a shot away. His effort is a tame one, though, and Mignolet is easily able to stop it with a simple save to his right.
48'
Almost a chance for Firmino! Once again, Alexander-Arnold does really well to pick up the ball out wide before quickly whipping a dangerous cross into the Swansea box. It looks set to find the head of Firmino, but the Brazilian misses it by the narrowest of margins.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +2
Swansea try to push forward on one final attacking move after good play by McBurnie in the middle of the pitch, but they can't do so quickly enough and the referee eventually brings an end to the first half.
45' +1
What a chance for Firmino to make it 2-0! A terrible pass from Mesa can only find Salah, who immediately knocks the ball up to Firmino. The Brazilian breaks into the box and takes on Mawson, who puts off the forward and forces him into firing his strike just wide of the near post.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be two minutes of added time.
44'
Can gets back to his feet and the game gets underway once again. Alexander-Arnold makes a really good run in from the right wing before playing a quick one-two with Salah, but he's dispossessed just as he's about to unleash a shot from just outside the penalty area.
43'
There are some concerned faces on the Liverpool bench at the moment, as Can has gone down injured after initially dropping to the floor a few minutes ago. He's being looked at by the medical staff, but it seems as if he's going to be able to continue for the rest of the half.
41'
Salah goes down inside the penalty area, but nothing is given! Salah twists and turns over on the right-hand side of the Swansea box, but he can't quite get a shot away after getting the better of Mawson. Firmino is able to pick up the ball and chip it back towards the Egyptian, who rises high but goes down after tangling with Carroll. He immediately screams for a penalty, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
40'
Coutinho's corner is whipped into a decent position in front of goal, but there are no red shirts there to meet it and Swansea are able to clear the danger without too many problems.
39'
Salah and Firmino link up really nice on the edge of the Swansea penalty area, almost resulting in a chance on goal for the latter. Mawson is just about able to poke the ball away from the Brazilian before Coutinho gets away a shot of his own, but it's deflected wide of the goal and behind for a corner.
37'
Swansea go close! McBurnie picks up the ball just inside the box and quickly shoots, but the youngster's strike is closed down by Klavan before it can test Mignolet. The ball then pinballs around the penalty area before falling to Naughton, who tries to fizz a pass across the face of goal but ends up running the ball out of play.
35'
Alexander-Arnold sends another looping cross into the visitors' penalty area that heads towards Firmino, but, once again, it can't quite pick out the Brazilian in front of goal and Swansea are able to hold on.
33'
Firmino makes a good run into the Swansea box and heads towards the near post as he tries to latch onto a swinging cross from Alexander-Arnold. He isn't able to do so, though, and he ends up catching the Argentine on the back of the net with a raised boot.
31'
Swansea lose the ball deep inside the Liverpool half of the pitch, and once again the home side break away on a quick counter-attack. Coutinho sprints forward before setting up Firmino to shoot, but the latter can't hit the target with his long-range effort and sends it bouncing comfortably wide of the far post.
30'
Routledge manages to catch out Robertson as Swansea push forward once again. This time the winger is able to swing a cross into the hosts' box, but it's underhit and fails to pick out McBurnie in front of goal.
28'
Swansea string together probably their best series of passes as they patiently try to find a way through the Liverpool back line. Naughton eventually attempts to pick up Routledge with a lofted pass down the right wing, but it's completely overhit and bounces behind for a goal-kick.
26'
Coutinho drifts out to the left wing and picks up the ball in an acre of space. He immediately cuts inside and works the ball over to Oxlade-Chamberlain, who unleashes a shot from 25 yards out but fails to hit the target.
25'
More sloppy play from Swansea - this time by Tom Carroll - allows the home side to hit them on a counter-attack. Salah breaks into the right-hand side of the penalty area and quickly shoots, but Mawson is there to throw himself in the way of the strike.
23'
A poor pass from Kyle Naughton can only find Firmino, who immediately sets up Emre Can to quickly counter-attack. He bursts towards the penalty area and shoots, but his low effort is tame and fails to cause any problems for Fabianski.
22'
Klavan darts into the Swansea half of the pitch and is brought down from behind by Leroy Fer, resulting in a free-kick for Liverpool. It's taken quickly and eventually worked over to Robertson, who tries to set up Wijnaldum to his left but loses out to Roque Mesa.
20'
After winning the ball back, Swansea quickly try to counter-attack themselves. McBurnie runs into the Liverpool box and latches onto a lofted pass, but he can't quite make decent contact with the ball and sends it trickling into the hands of Mignolet.
19'
An attempted Swansea attacking move fails to come to anything, and Liverpool are able to quickly counter-attack. Coutinho and Georginio Wijnaldum initially link up well to set up the Dutchman to burst forward, but he's well dealt with and dispossessed before he can cause Swansea too many problems.
17'
Almost an opportunity for Salah! Coutinho picks up the ball midway inside the Swansea half of the pitch and immediately launches a lovely pass into the heart of the visitors' penalty area. Salah skips away from his marker and looks set to get a head on the ball in front of goal, but it ends up missing him by the narrowest of margins.
15'
After spending the opening quarter of an hour on the back foot, Swansea are able to push forward a quick counter-attack through the middle. A lofted pass is fired deep into the Liverpool half of the pitch and towards McBurnie, who rises high but can't quite reach the ball just outside of the hosts' box.
13'
Firmino cuts inside quickly from the left wing and is tripped over by Fernandez, resulting in a free-kick for Liverpool in a dangerous position just outside of the box. Salah steps up and sends a deflected cross over to Klavan, who is able to latch onto the ball but can only send it looping onto the roof of the net.
11'
Almost another chance for Liverpool! Swansea's back line are caught all at sea thanks to great play between Firmino, Salah and Coutinho. The latter eventually breaks into the penalty area and cuts the ball back to Robertson, who shoots but can't quite hit the target.
10'
Firmino breaks into the left-hand side of the Swansea box after a pocket of space opens up for him. He dances his way towards the near post before eventually trying to send a pass round Federico Fernandez, but the defender does well to throw his body in the way of the ball.
8'
Great chance for Jordan Ayew! Oliver McBurnie holds up the ball on the right-hand side of the Liverpool box before poking it out to Wayne Routledge. The winger quickly whips a cross right onto the head of Ayew, who sends his downward header towards Simon Mignolet but can't get the better of the goalkeeper.
6'
Philippe Coutinho has scored a goal for Liverpool! Assist by Mohamed Salah.
GOAL! What a strike by Philippe Coutinho! Roberto Firmino wins the ball back midway inside the Swansea half of the pitch and quickly moves it up to Salah. The Egyptian spins and picks out Coutinho, who then curls an absolutely excellent strike that leaves Lukasz Fabianski rooted to the spot as it flies into the top right-hand corner of the net. Sublime!
Salah did well to quickly move the ball on to Coutinho, but that goal was all about the little Brazilian. No goalkeeper in the world could have stopped that strike!
4'
Trent Alexander-Arnold picks up the ball over on the right flank and immediately tries to pick out Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain with a lofted pass down the wing. It's overhit, though, and Martin Olsson is easily able to shepherd the ball behind for a goal-kick.
2'
Liverpool immediately go on the front foot through Ragnar Klavan, who pushes into the Swansea half of the pitch and launches a lofted pass into the path of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian tries to latch onto the ball, but he's out-muscled by Alfie Mawson just as he's about to do so.
1'
We're off! Swansea get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Premier League game between Liverpool and Swansea City at Anfield.
Liverpool were involved in an action-packed - and quite remarkable - 3-3 draw away to Arsenal on Friday evening, and it’s one that extended their unbeaten run to 10 league games. However, with things as tight as they are in and around the Champions League places, the Reds really need to return to winning ways as they continuing battling with Tottenham Hotspur for fourth spot.
Jurgen Klopp was quick to admit that his side suffered from “obvious problems” in defence at the Emirates, but they should have an easier time against their opponents here today. Tottenham’s 5-2 thumping of Southampton earlier means they now sit two points ahead of Liverpool, who may be on a decent unbeaten run but have only won one of their last four league outings.
Swansea head into this evening’s clash with caretaker manager Leon Britton still in charge after the sacking of Paul Clement, and, despite doing well to hold Crystal Palace to a 1-1 draw on the weekend, they remain in a perilous position at the bottom of the table. With just one win from 11 Premier League games - and with Tottenham to play next week - it’s proving to be a miserable festive period for the Swans.
Swansea have particularly struggled away from home, where, after going unbeaten in their opening three clashes of the season, they’ve lost all of their previous six games away from the Liberty Stadium. They’ve scored just three times during that period, and they’re now set to take on a team that have only lost one league game at home since the end of January.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Swansea City substitutes: Nordfeldt, Rangel, Van der Hoorn, Sanches, Clucas, Dyer, Abraham.
Liverpool substitutes: Karius, Gomez, Lovren, Milner, Lallana, Mane, Solanke.
Liverpool XI (4-3-3): Mignolet; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Klavan, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Can, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Coutinho.
Jurgen Klopp has decided to make four changes to the Liverpool side that drew with Arsenal last week, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain coming into the starting line-up to replace Joe Gomez, Dejan Loren, Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane, respectively.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
Swansea City XI (4-3-3): Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson; Fer, Mesa, Carroll; Routledge, McBurnie, Ayew.
Meanwhile, Swansea caretaker boss Leon Britton has also made four alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Sam Clucas, Luciano Narsingh, Tammy Abraham and Nathan Dyer making way for Leroy Fer, Wayne Routledge, Jordan Ayew and Oliver McBurnie, the latter of whom is making his first ever Premier League start.
Liverpool head into the half-time break with a one-goal lead thanks to a wonderful strike from Coutinho, but they really should be further ahead. Swansea have struggled at the other half of the pitch and are lucky not to be two or three goals behind after being guilty of some sloppy play inside their own half, but Liverpool have been just as careless in possession, denying them the opportunity to further punish their opponents.
HALF-TIME: LIVERPOOL 1-0 SWANSEA CITY
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: LIVERPOOL 5-0 SWANSEA CITY
That was an incredibly easy evening for Liverpool, who ran riot from start to finish and were comfortably able to pile further misery on a struggling Swansea side. The heavy defeat keeps the south Wales club rooted to the bottom of the table, while the victory has lifted Liverpool back up to third place.
