Successive corners for Genoa as they get everyone forward here in search of an equaliser, but still can't find a way to work Szczesny. This has been a defensive masterclass from Juventus, who look to be on course for three points as they deal with the threat yet again.
90'
There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
MILES OVER! Szczesny still hasn't had a save to make tonight, but Spolli really should have been testing him there. The defender was teed up for a strike from 15 yards, but lifted it wildly over the mark.
86'
STAT: Juventus have kept 11 clean sheets in Serie A this season, more than any other team.
85'
A. Galabinov gets yellow.
Galabinov is booked for Genoa. That's five players for the visitors who have seen yellow tonight, compared to just one for Juventus.
84'
M. Perin gets yellow.
What in the world? Perin takes some time with a goal-kick, following a narrow miss from Pjanic, and the Genoa keeper is booked for time wasting. How does a player get booked for that with his side down 1-0 late on? That's incredibly harsh by the referee.
83'
A. Barzagli enters the game and replaces S. Lichtsteiner.
Reinforcements in defence for Juventus as Andrea Barzagli is brought on for the final seven minutes, replacing Lichtsteiner.
82'
A bit of panic at the back for Juventus as Genoa pour it on here! Nervy moments for the hosts with the game still very much in the balance. Lapadula is a determined striker and he's surely going to be a thorn in the side of these Juventus defenders over the final 10 minutes.
80'
Plenty of stoppages over the last 10 minutes, two bookings and four substitutions, which really favours Juventus as they look to see this out. They really have not managed to come close to finding a second, but much of that can be attributed to this stout Genoa defence that has conceded just one goal in the last 478 minutes in Serie A - that to Douglas Costa in the first half. .

Description
78'
G. Lapadula enters the game and replaces G. Pandev.
Gianluca Lapadula is on to try and pull Genoa level, replacing Pandev.
76'
K. Asamoah enters the game and replaces Alex Sandro.
Another Juventus change here, this one brings with it the arrival of Kwadwo Asamoah, who replaces Alex Sandro.
74'
STAT: Genoa are unbeaten in their last four away games: the last time they went five without defeat was in November 2014.
72'
G. Pandev gets yellow.
No escaping the referee's wrath here for Pandev, the striker catching Mandzukic with a high boot as he's shown yellow.
70'
S. Sturaro enters the game and replaces S. Khedira.
Juventus make their first change of the night as Stefano Sturao replaces Sami Khedira.
68'
D. Lazović enters the game and replaces A. Taarabt.
Genoa's second change sees Darko Lazovic replace Taarabt.
67'
Alex Sandro gets yellow.
Alex Sandro sees yellow, the first of the night for a Juventus player, for a late challenge to halt a break.
66'
It's one-way traffic here as Juventus up their pursuit of a second to put this game to bed. Genoa have shown no signs of being able to find an equaliser, but at 1-0 it only takes one chance. Juventus want to eliminate that possibility.
64'
VITAL CLEARANCE! A terrific run from Lichtsteiner who shows great burst to get forward down the right flank. The full-back bends a low delivery behind the defence and across the face of goal, but Rossettini does superbly to get to it just ahead of Mandzukic to clear the threat!
62'
STAT: Juventus have kept five successive clean sheets at home to Genoa in all competitions (W5). The last time Genoa scored in Turin was in a 1-1 draw in January 2013.
60'
Not far away! Well they're getting closer, at least, are Juventus. Pjanic displays some clever footwork on the edge of the area to cut onto his right into space for a shot, but bends an effort just beyond the far post!
58'
Another miss! Juventus have not been afraid to try their luck from outside the penalty area, sending a plethora of shots at Perin from 20 to 30 yards. Sandro offers the latest effort, but he drags his strike wide of the far post. Nothing wrong with shooting, but these attempts have to be better.
56'
Mandzukic shouts for a penalty as he takes a tumble at the far post in trying to attack a free-kick. The contact came from Rosi, but he barely shoved the attacker, who made that look a lot worse than it really was. Good decision from the referee not to give it.
54'
Here's a weird one: Galabinov has been sent to the touchline for a "wardrobe malfuction" let's call it. According to FIFA rules your socks have to be the same colour. Well, Galabinov has red socks covering his shin pads, with blue ankle socks poking through up out of his boot - so he's off to the bench for a moment to get red tape applied to hide the blue. What a world we live in.
52'
STAT: Genoa have not gained any points from trailing situations in away games in Serie A this season.
50'
Poor effort! Pjanic is picked out in space from 25 yards and lines up a shot, but slices the strike wildly as it drifts high, wide and not at all handsome. You really would fancy him to be doing better there.
48'
Juventus open up the second half the same way they did the first, on the front foot and looking for goals. Their possession figure is up close to 60 per cent now, and they would love to get a second goal sooner rather than later, to really put this game to bed.
46'
A. Galabinov enters the game and replaces L. Rigoni.
The second half is underway!
Andrey Galabinov replaces Rigoni for Genoa at the interval.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 GENOA.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of the first half.
44'
A. Rosi gets yellow.
Rosi commits a cynical foul to halt Juventus on the break, and that will see him into the book.
43'
Genoa working it around well in the attacking half as they look to end the opening 45 minutes on a high. Taarabt is picked out in space on the right, and has options in the centre, but his delivery is dreadful as Juventus clear the threat.
41'
Higuain gets locked into a duel with Spolli on the edge of the area and shows great skill and strength to win the ball and burst through on goal, but he's denied by a bit of a questionable decision from the referee, who awards Genoa a free-kick. Both players were battling, that's one of those you have to let go.
39'
STAT: Juventus won the reverse fixture this season in August, falling behind 2-0 inside of seven minutes before storming back for a 4-2 victory - the highest-scoring match Genoa have played a part in this season.
37'
Juventus have been offering very little here as Genoa have done very well to drastically up their intensity. The visitors were seriously lacking in desire at the start, but they have really turned things around - and the match remains in the balance because of it.
35'
Now Lichtsteiner is clattered down near the touchline, and he stays down as play is allowed to continue. Finally the ball goes out of play and the full-back is able to recieve some medical attention from the training staff.
33'
Sandro trips up Izzo from behind, who responds by kicking out at the full-back. Tensions are just starting to rise a bit as frustation builds for Genoa.
31'
Straight at Perin! Mandzukic with the latest effort on target for Juventus, but this one doesn't trouble Perin fromover 20 yards. Juventus are being kept to the periphery now, largely being held in the midfield third while in possession.
29'
STAT: Juventus have conceded only one goal in their last 11 games (all competitions).
27'
While they have tightened things up at the back, Genoa are offering nothing going forward. Their spells in possession are simply just moments of respite at the back, as opposed to attempts to break Juventus down and restore parity. They're still waiting for their first shot of the match.
25'
N. Spolli gets yellow.
The first booking of the match is shown to Genoa centre-half Nicolas Spolli.
24'
Genoa need their midfielders to up their intensity. The likes of Rigoni, Omeonga and Bertolacci have been quite pedestrian off the ball, and have not shown an interest in tracking the forward runs of Khedira, Pjanic and Matuidi. They are being outplayed significantly in midfield - the root of their issues at the moment.
22'
Possession being dominated here by Juventus, in no rush to push forward. They're patiently building just inside the Genoa half, forcing the visitors to break out of their shell and press to win the ball back.
20'
STAT: Genoa hadn’t conceded in each of their last four Serie A games: the last time they recorded five or more consecutive shutouts was back in 1964.
18'
That's a crushing blow for Genoa, who looked to be really settling into the match following a shaky start. It's the first goal the visitors have conceded in the league since December 12, ending a run of four successive clean sheets.
16'
Douglas Costa has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by M. Mandžukić.
Mandzukic provides the assist for his role in the give-and-go.
IT'S BEEN COMING - JUVENTUS LEAD! Douglas Costa sprays a ball out wide for Mandzukic and then sprints towards the near post to get on the end of the Croatian's cross to touch it beyond Perin! Excellent work from the winger!
13'
Well to their credit, Genoa have managed to calm things down and take the sting out of it. Juventus were unable to capitalise on their high-flying start, and will now be made to work hard for their opportunities against this stingy Genoa side.
11'
Genoa have fought back a bit here and enjoyed a bit of time of their own on the front foot. They need to find a way to really settle things down, because it's shaping up to be a long night for them if things continue on the way they were in the opening 10 minutes.
9'
STAT: Juventus haven’t lost at home against Genoa in Serie A since January 1991: 11 wins and three draws since then for the Bianconeri.
7'
Another big chance for Juventus as Higuain wins a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area, almost dead centre. Costa and Pjanic stand over it, with the latter taking it, bending a sumptuous effort towards the near post that Perin does brilliantly to keep out at full-stretch!
5'
LIFTED OVER! Another incisive move from the hosts, who have a spring in their step here. Mandzukic does well down the left and picks out a terrific pass across for Khedira, but the midfielder lifts his first-time effort over the bar from 20 yards!
3'
Juventus waste no time getting on the front foot, applying a ton of pressure in these opening minutes. Their first threatening attack is dealt with by Genoa, but the second presents a shooting chance for Pjanic, who just lifts his volley over the bar.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Juventus in their vintage black and white stripes as they get the match underway, attacking left to right, with Genoa in dark blue and red.
Hello and welcome to the Allianz Stadium for live coverage of the conclusion of matchweek 21 as Juventus play hosts to Genoa!
The pressure is on Juventus following Napoli’s victory on Sunday, as they aim to keep pace with the Serie A leaders, entering tonight four points back in what is shaping up to be a thrilling title race down the stretch.
Juventus narrowly edged out Cagliari a fortnight ago in their last league match, but nonetheless it was a sixth victory in their last seven league matches, as they have pulled away from the likes of Lazio, Inter and Roma chasing them from behind.
Genoa are precariously positioned at the other end, but a sudden surge in form has seen them move five points above the drop – though that run faces a daunting test as they try and extend it to five tonight.
The issue for Genoa has been in attack, a lack of goals in the side drastically hampering their league position, with just Sassuolo and Benevento scoring fewer. At the back, however, just Napoli, Juventus, Roma and Inter have conceded fewer goals than Genoa this campaign.
Davide Ballardini makes four changes to his side from their 1-0 win over Sassuolo. Adel Taarabt is healthy again and replaces Gianluca Lapadula in attack, while Armando Izzo replaces the suspended Ervin Zukanovic. The other changes come in midfield as Aleandro Rosi and Stephane Omeonga replace Davide Biraschi and Petar Brlek.
Massimiliano Allegri makes three changes from their win in Cagliari a fortnight ago. The injured Paulo Dybala is replaced by Mario Mandzukic, while Douglas Costa also joins the attack at the expense of Federico Bernardeschi. The other change comes in defence as Stephan Lichtster comes in for Andrea Barzagli.
Douglas Costa capped off a high-flying start for Juventus with the opening goal after 16 minutes, but they have since tailed off with Genoa settling in nicely. The visitors have posed no threat of their own, but they remain very much in this match should they figure things out in attack.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Douglas Costa's early strike proves the difference in Turin as Juventus move back to within one point of Serie A leaders Napoli. Genoa pushed on late but were unable to force Szczesny into a save over the course of the 90 minutes and leave empty handed as a result, despite a strong showing in defence.
