Bellarabi desperately hunts down a consolation goal and carves out space for a shot, but can only bend an effort straight into the waiting arms of Burki. Shockingly, that's one of their best chances of the match.
86'
Sergio Gómez enters the game and replaces M. Reus.
The final change of the evening sees Sergio Gomez replace Reus.
85'
Where does this leave Jadon Sancho's role going forward? He has started just four Bundesliga matches in his first season with the club, but he's really come into his own and it's culminated in a dominating display today. He could get a real chance over the final few matches of the season to stamp a claim on a starting role heading into 2018/19.
81'
J. Toljan enters the game and replaces M. Philipp.
A second Dortmund change here as Jeremy Toljan replaces Philipp.
79'
M. Reus has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by J. Sancho.
Sancho provides his second assist to go with his opening goal. What a match for the Englishman.
MAKE THAT FOUR! It's the two men of the hour that combine for Dortmund to put the icing on the cake! Sancho turns provider yet again, driving forward and lifting a lovely cross onto the head of Reus, who is left unmarked to guide a header in at the far post!
76'
Leverkusen are starting to control play now as Dortmund have taken their foot off the gas. It's likely too late for the visitors, though they would love a goal or two to at least make the scoreline look a bit more respectable and help get their goal difference back ahead of Hoffenheim's.
74'
A rare opening in attack for Leverkusen, this carved out by Brandt, who threads a tidy low cross into the danger area for Havertz, but Burki does well to react and parry his first-time effort!
72'
Mahmoud Dahoud enters the game and replaces C. Pulišić.
A first change for Dortmund brings with it a bit more defensive stability, as Mahmoud Dahoud replaces Pulisic.
69'
K. Bellarabi enters the game and replaces L. Alario.
The final Leverkusen change sees Karim Bellarabi replacing Alario - though it appears too little, too late for the visitors.

Description

Defeat for Leverkusen today will leave them just two points up on fifth-place Hoffenheim, as the race for top four heats up. Luckily for them their remaining three matches come against the current 10th, 12th and 13th-placed sides, so barring disaster, they should still be able to seal a Champions League place.
65'
Well it wouldn't be much of a surprise if that third goal took the wind out of Leverkusen's sails, but there's no real way of knowing. They haven't had wind in their sails at all this evening. The wheels have completely come off now and this could get ugly.
63'
M. Philipp has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by J. Sancho.
One of the assists of the season from Sancho, who is making a statement here today.
STUNNING! PURE CLASS FROM DORTMUND WHO HAVE THREE! That was a piece of brilliance from Sancho who produces an absolutely sensational first touch to take down Akanji's long ball in stride off his back heel, and then picks out Philipp brilliantly who finishes excellently from 15 yards!
61'
This has not been the Leverkusen side we have become accustomed to seeing of late - the one that scored eight goals in their last two matches against two sides that were very much in the top-four race at the time. They still have 30 minutes to turn this around, though they haven't looked at all like doing so yet.
59'
This has been pure domination from Dortmund and they're hungry for more. A great first-time pass from Reus puts the Leverkusen defence under threat again, but they're just able to clear the danger ahead of Philipp's arrival in the centre!
55'
M. Reus has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by M. Götze.
Gotze redeems himself for the poor miss earlier, picking up a lovely assist there.
REUS HAS HIS GOAL AT LAST! Wonderful composure from Reus as he charges on the end of a Gotze throughball and keeps his cool to round Ozcan and roll a finish into the gaping goal. That could be the dagger!
54'
Dortmund have a dubious quality this season of letting sides back into games, and if they're not careful that trend could rear its ugly head again this evening. They should be three or four goals up right now, but they've been unable to put this to bed.
52'
OFF THE BAR! What a hit from Reus, who cannons an audacious effort off the crossbar from an outrageous angle! That was struck brilliantly and really did deserve a better outcome. How has he not scored in this match?!
50'
HAS TO BE BETTER! Sancho makes a mesmerising run, skipping past defenders at will as he bursts into the penalty area before cleverly laying it off for Gotze, but the midfielder completely lacks in confidence as he hesitates with his first touch and produces a dreadful strike on the end of it.
48'
Dortmund on the front foot to begin this second half, picking up where they left off. The atmosphere in the Signal-Iduna-Park has been terrific, and there's no signs of it quieting down. Let's see if Leverkusen can do something about that.
46'
K. Havertz enters the game and replaces L. Bailey.
Leverkusen get the second half underway!
Kai Havertz comes on for the second half for Leverkusen, replacing Leon Bailey, who was anonymous through 45 minutes.
Too high for Sancho! The Englishman is unable to get on the end of a cross at the far post, as a dangerous looking attack from Dortmund comes to an end. The visitors aren't doing a good enough job of closing their gaps in defence.
45'
There will be three minutes added on at the end of this first half.
44'
There has been a bit of a reshuffle at the back for Leverkusen, with Jedvaj playing at right-back and Retsos moving alongside Sven Bender at centre-half, filling the spot vacated by Tah. The visitors will just want to get this into the break without any further damage inflicted on them.
42'
T. Jedvaj enters the game and replaces J. Tah.
Jedvaj does come on here to replace the injured Tah.
41'
This is a real worry for Leverkusen as Tah needs help to walk off the field. Tin Jedvaj is warming up, which suggests that might be the end of the evening for the Leverkusen centre-half...
37'
Penalty saved by R. Özcan!
Reus should have done better with that. If he struck his penalty like he did the disallowed goal moments earlier, it's 2-0.
JUSTICE IS SERVED! Not the best penalty from Reus. It was struck well, but was a bit too central as Ozcan guesses right to make the save and hold on to prevent a rebound!
36'
PENALTY TO DORTMUND! That's a horribly soft decision from the referee as Pulisic goes theatrically to ground after the slightest tug from Retsos.
35'
NO GOAL! Reus off in celebration after punishing home a terrific finish into the ceiling of the net, but their celebrations are halted after the referee consults with VAR, which shows Philipp was fractions offside when the initial ball over the top was played in for him!
33'
Burki easily collects a Leverkusen corner and that's no surprise. Herrlich's side have been among the worst in the Bundesliga this season from set pieces, lacking the height to take advantage of them.
31'
Slowly Leverkusen are building here, but they're having a difficult time trying to get their creative types in possession. The likes of Brandt and Volland are having to drop too deep to get on the ball, leaving a big gap between them and Alario.
29'
The tempo has really slowed here, with the sides exchanging short, harmless spells in possession in midfield. Leverkusen are looking a lot less vulnerable, but they're not packing any sort of attacking punch.
25'
These Leverkusen players just don't seem to be on the same page with one another. They've struggled to get into a rhythm and have been a bit out of sorts in defence. They'll need to tighten things up to get back into this game.
23'
Halfway through the first half and it's been a very entertaining watch. Dortmund are playing with a high energy which Leverkusen haven't quite been able to match just yet, but that's not exactly in the visitors' gameplan, either. They're trying to slow things down a bit so as not to get into an end-to-end affair with the high-flying hosts.
21'
Hoffenheim's victory in Leipzig earlier today means both these teams entered this match two points up on fifth place. Victory for either would see them five points clear with three matches to play, while defeat would open things up for an exciting end to the season in the race for top four.
19'
Leverkusen are trying to mount a response here, but are struggling to find a way through this Dortmund defence that has kept successive clean sheets at the Signal-Iduna-Park. The visitors just seem a bit out of sync on the front foot, perhaps a result of Alario returning to the side following a prolonged absence.
15'
VITAL FROM HENRICHS! Another terrific bit of interplay from Dortmund, with Pulisic on the end of this one, but Henrichs does remarkably well to track back and stick a foot in to deflect the shot wide of the near post! A bit of redemption for Henrichs.
13'
J. Sancho has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by C. Pulišić.
NO MISTAKE THIS TIME, AND DORTMUND LEAD! Jadon Sancho is picked out on the end of a brilliant run from Pulisic and he bends a lovely finish in at the far post for his first Bundesliga goal! Henrichs will be upset with himself as he slipped in the build-up, which allowed the ball to get through to Sancho.
That was a stunning run and pick out from Pulisic, who provides the assist.
11'
WASTED OPPORTUNITY! Sancho needed to do much better there! He was brilliantly set up by Reus and had all day to take on the keeper, but fails to keep his composure as he snatches at the chance and makes for an easy save for Ozcan.
9'
DEFLECTED OVER! A good couple of minutes from Dortmund as they ask some questions of the Leverkusen defence. Gotze is teed up for a shot from 25 yards but his effort deflects over the bar off the back of Kohr!
5'
Leverkusen's first foray into attack leads to some nervy moments for the hosts, as Toprak collides with his keeper who spills a cross, but Dortmund are able to clear. The hosts then get forward themselves, but Sokratis commits a foul as it fizzles out.
3'
This should be a high-flying encounter between two sides who love to attack and are more than capable of scoring in bunches - and with a Champions League place on the line, the stakes are that much higher.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Dortmund in yellow and black as they get the match underway, with Leverkusen in white.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this top-four Bundesliga clash as Borussia Dortmund welcome Bayer Leverkusen to Signal-Iduna-Park!
These sides enter the match level on 51 points to round out the Champions League places in Germany behind Bayern and Schalke, meaning tonight’s winner will take a massive step towards securing a top-four finish.
Dortmund have been close to unbeatable at home of late in the league, winning each of their last three and going unbeaten in 2018 – but face their toughest test yet, having failed to beat the other top-four sides at home, though under Peter Bosz.
For Leverkusen, victory tonight would complete a dream month of April, following successive 4-1 victories over top-four rivals RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt, with Kevin Volland and Julian Brandt leading the charge.
This really is a chance for the two sides to showcase themselves and have an honest go at it, with the pressure somewhat off as – with the exception of Dortmund’s trip to Hoffenheim – they both face sides from the bottom half of the table to close out the season.
Peter Stoger makes four changes from the 2-0 defeat at Schalke. Jadon Sancho makes just his fourth Bundesliga start of the season as he comes into attack with Michy Batshuayi sidelined. Julian Weigl and Mario Gotze replace Nuri Sahin and Mahmoud Dahoud in midfield, while Manuel Akanji starts ahead of Marcel Schmelzer at left-back.
Heiko Herrlich makes four changes as well, from the 4-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Lucas Alario returns from a three-match ban to lead the line, replacing midfielder Kai Havertz. Ramazan Ozcan, Jonathan Tah and Dominik Kohr also come into the side at the expense of Bernd Leno, Julian Baumgartlinger and the suspended Lars Bender.
Utter domination from Dortmund as they lead 1-0 at the interval, and Leverkusen are lucky it isn't worse. The hosts also had a goal disallowed and a penalty saved to limit their lead to 1-0, while the visitors have lost defender Jonathan Tah to injury in what was a forgettable half for them.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
A dominating display from Borussia Dortmund - with Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus the headline acts - sees them take a massive step towards securing a top-four finish. Sancho opened the scoring with his first Bundesliga goal and would add two assists, while Marco Reus netted twice, sinking a Bayer Leverkusen side that looked outmatched and overwhelmed.
