Relegated Wolves secured a dramatic away point against Swansea City on Saturday, coming from three goals down in a thrilling 4-4 draw.

Goals from Andrea Orlandi, Joe Allen and Nathan Dyer inside the opening 15 minutes looked to have set the hosts on their way to an emphatic victory.

But the West Midlands' outfit were primed to take advantage of some suspect defending from Swansea, coming from 4-1 down with Matt Jarvis on target twice to earn the draw.

Orlandi opened the scoring at Liberty Stadium, nodding home Scott Sinclair's cross within the first minute.

Swansea then eased through the heart of the Wolves defence to double their lead through Allen, before Dyer poured more misery on Terry Connor's side with a headed effort to put the Welsh outfit three goals up.

After a scintillating start to the game, there was no let up, with Steven Fletcher rising to meet Kevin Doyle's cross and pull one back for Wolves, kick-starting a period of three goals in four minutes.

Dyer did well to work space before finding Danny Graham, who controlled before firing into goal, only for Jarvis to cut in from the flank a minute later for a remarkable 4-2 half-time scoreline.

Wolves stepped up their response in the second half, pulling another goal back after Karl Henry’s quickly taken free-kick allowed Dave Edwards to slot home past Michel Vorm.

With the momentum firmly on their side, Connor's men pushed for an equaliser, with Jarvis and Michael Kightly threatening down the flanks and Fletcher just inches away from doubling his personal tally.

And Wolves would not be denied an equaliser as Fletcher's first-time ball found the run of Jarvis, who scored from close range with 20 minutes remaining.

Kightly was presented with a late chance but he blazed his effort over the bar as Wolves secured only their third point under Connor.
