87'
Late cameo for Wondolowski, with Dempsey coming off.
86'
Penalty goal scored by V. Moses for Nigeria!
And for the second game running a 2-0 lead can be cut here from a PENALTY for Nigeria.
Moses finishes from the spot, and it's 2-1
85'
Chandler with a good break forward but can't find Dempsey, and as it came back out Mix had a hit saved.
83'
Overall, Nigeria won't leave happy with this showing. The U.S. should come out with plenty of positives. Emenike with a shot and Howard with the save, but he hasn't been tested much on his 100th cap.
80'
O. González enters the game and replaces J. Altidore.
Altidore comes off to a huge round of applause. The fans know how big he is to this team, and how much he needed those goals.
79'
Altidore looking for Dempsey on the break and it's just a bit too much. The USA looking dangerous on the break.

Description
77'
Moses wins a corner for Nigeria. Taken short and Onazi has a hit. Again, this Nigeria team just looks like it's out of ideas.
75'
T. Chandler enters the game and replaces D. Beasley.

74'

Beckerman comes off after a really good shift. Mix comes on to replace him.
71'
Emmanuel Emenike caught offside. Nigeria has come apart a bit.
70'
Well, if the first one was simple for Altidore, the second was not. He took it off his chest after Bradley hit it over the top and cut back on his defender before lashing it into the net.
68'
J. Altidore has scored a goal for United States! Assist by M. Bradley.
MAKE IT TWO FOR ALTIDORE!!! A great finish after a ball over the top from Bradley, and it's 2-0.
65'
E. Emenike enters the game and replaces Shola Ameobi.
Bradley slips in DEMPSEY!!! SAVED!! Wow, he beat the defender and was in alone, tried to take it on his left foot but Vincent Enyeama with a great save.
64'
Jones with another great recovery run after dashing forward, cuts out a dangerous move for Nigeria.
62'
This has been a much better showing on the ball for the USA in the second half. Nigeria is not pressing like the first half, and it all seems a bit more comfortable.
61'
Onazi tries to slip in Ameobi, but Cameron in on hand to win it.
60'
G. Zusi enters the game and replaces A. Bedoya.
A nasty tackle on Dempsey in the midfield put the U.S. captain on the turf. He's back up as well, and Zusi is on for Bedoya.
58'
Good job by Jones there to press the ball and force it all the way back, but Cameron is still forced to concede a corner when it comes back down.
57'
Nigeria looks out of ideas going forward,a nd the best chances seem to come from winning the ball quickly in the U.S. midfield. A fould there by Bradley after he has it taken off him.
56'
Dempsey and Bradley combining well and it sets Bradley up for a shot. The hit is blocked out but the USA has a corner, which Bedoya whips in and Nigeria gets cleared.
54'
That was a bad tackle from Michel Babatunde as he rushed forward. He clipped Besler, who is now back up and moving around.
53'
Bedoya just missed Dempsey, played it behind him as they broke forward and Dempsey rushed into the box.
51'
Victor Moses waisted a great ball there. Was played in down the left and killed it rather than going quickly.
Onazi caught offside as Moses tries to play him down the flank.
50'
Despite the goal, this hasn't been Altidore at his best. His touch has let him down when he's been pulled wide.
47'
The USA opens the second half moving the ball around the back, Nigeria cuts it out anf hs the U.S. defending deep at the moment.
46'
R. Gabriel enters the game and replaces M. Obi.
M. Babatunde enters the game and replaces P. Odemwingie.
We're back and moving.
45' +1
Not much time left in this first half. I think both teams can take something from the first 45. Nigeria hasn't had much going forward, but has had plenty of the ball. The USA has scored on its one really good chance and defended very well. And there it is, halftime and we'll be right back.
45'
Nigeria coming forward again and this time Besler gives up the corner.
44'
AMBROSE!! He went close with a header from that second corner. Howard was there for the save but too much freedom to hit from there.
43'
DANGEROUS! Jones gets it cleared behing the goal, but a giveaway from Beckerman led to Nigeria getting on the break. From the corner Moses brings it in and wins another.
41'
Moses trying to work a way past Johnson, can't do it but as it's cycled back out Onazi has a hit that Howard deals with well.
39'
Dempsey wins a free kick in a good place for Bradley to whip it in... it falls for Beasley in the box and he let rip with his right foot well over the top.
38'
Another good run forward from Johnson and he nearly made something of it but Altidore's frist touch was not a good one and handcuffed Dempsey as it came into the box.
37'
Ball given away by Dempsey as he tries to work it Beasley, and Ngeria is back on it. To be fair, for all the early possession from the Nigerians, not much in the way of real chances.
35'
Dempsey plays it forward to Jones who goes down, almost untouched.
34'
Now Nigeria will get a chance to answer. A dangerous set play, and Azeez whips it in but it misses everybody.
33'
That should do #17 a world of good after the season he had at Sunderland.
32'
J. Altidore has scored a goal for United States! Assist by F. Johnson.
JOZY!!!! A goal for Jozy Altidore! It almost seemed like it wasn't going to come for him, but there it is. Bedoya with some good work down the right, slips in Johnson who plays it across. Altidore had an open goal to hit.
30'
Onazi now getting forward for Nigeria but he put that shot well away from the mark.
29'
Dempsey wins a corner for the USA, and as it comes in he tries to get it under control to finish but it wouldn't sit down for him.
28'
Odemwingie tries to get the better of Beasley,w hcih looks like a good matchup for the Nigerians, but Beasley held his ground well.
27'
Bradley tries to spray one wide and mis-hit it. Better over the last few minutes from the home side.
26'
Ambrose is causing the U.S. issues down the right. He's down on the ground at this point after a tackle from Jones, but he's looked a very good player early on here.
24'
Bradley has a go as the U.S. pushes forward, Dempsey playing him into a shooting spot. Blocked away and the USA has its second corner of the night.
As the ball gets pushed out Jones wins it to Bedoya who decides he should have a go as well, but sends it high and wide.
23'
Bradley doing a nice job of winning balls back, plays it off to Dempsey who draws a foul and now the USA will try to keep it for a bit.
20'
A rare break forward for the USA slides wide to Altidore, who gives it away, but it comes back in with Dempsey trying to slip Beasley through. The left back has his cross bloacked away and Dempsey can't control. All Nigeria aside from a few breaks like that, and the USA will have to make those count.
17'
Bedoya called for a foul. Nigeria swings it wide and then passes back to the middle where a shot is deflected.
16'
Second corner comes in and an offside call against Nigeria gets the USA out of danger.
15'
Besler now foreced to clear and he sends it behind for a corner. Beckerman heads it behind for another corner.
13'
Azeez picked up a sloppy pass from Johnson and broke past Bradley only to have his chance blocked away. The pressure the African side is getting on the ball is giving the U.S. midfield all sorts of problems.
12'
Altidore drifting out to the left side as Dempsey moves up top. Strange look for the U.S. At the moment Nigeria still has most of the ball.
10'
Johnson forced to track back to deal with Azeez, who won a corner for Nigeria, but Jones manages to get that clear.
8'
First positive move for the U.S. and Bedoya has a hit after picking it up from Bradley. Corner won.
5'
Nigeria with all the play early on. USA now trying to slide it around the back but not getting anything easy.
3'
Nigeria lifts one forward to Ameobi who did very well to take it down and send it wide. Howard collects and the danger is gone.
2'
As it starts it looks like Dempsey and Bradley will be playing in front of a midfield 3, with Jones, Beckerman and Bedoya sitting in behind them a bit.
1'
We're off and running.
Welcome in to Goal's live call of the USA's final send-off series match against Nigeria. Still a good way from the opening kick, but we should have a good one on hand tonight. Nigeria has plenty of firepower both up front and in the middle and should offer the best test the U.S. has seen so far.
Tonight's game should be a good experience for the U.S. Nigeria is, in many ways, a similar team to Ghana, and the warm conditions in Miami should make dealing with the heat of Brazil a bit easier.
Starting team tonight for the USA. Howard in goal, Beasley on the left, Besler, Cameron and Johnson rounding out the back line. Jones and Beckerman in the holding spot in midfielder, with Bradley in front of them. Dempsey moves out to the right, probably with plenty of ability to mix it up with Bradley, and Bedoya playing out on the left. Jozy Altidore is once again up top.
Interesting to see Jones, Bradley and Beckerman all on the pitch together, and to see what that might do to where Dempsey plays in this team.
For Nigeria tonight, another strong team. Shola Ameobi up top with Moses and Azeez flanking him. Odemwingie sits in behind Ameobi with Mikel and Onazi completing the midfield. Oshaniwa, Yobo, Oboabona and Ambrose across the back with Enyeama in goal.
100th cap for Tim Howard tonight. Made his first in 2002. He's the 15th player to reach that mark for the USMNT, and he also set a mark for wins against Turkey with his 54th as the goalkeeper.
Just minutes away now and we're ready to roll.
The biggest positive for the USA will be that the team's lead striker got on the board. First goal for Altidore since December.
Overall you feel like Klinsmann probably saw some things he liked. The much-maligned defense has been very good today with Johnson on one side and Beasley on the other, both offering some flashes getting forward as well.
There's the final whistle. Plenty more coverage of this match coming your way, so keep checking in.
