82'
Sergio Oliveira - who's been absolutely fantastic today - tees himself up for a half-volley on the edge of the box. The strike is well-hit but misses the target.

49'
Bernardo Silva is going to come off for Portugal. He's been sublime in this game and it's no surprise that Rui Jorge wants to save him for the final.

That is the worst possible start to this second 45 for Germany. Horst Hrubesch would have spoken about keeping things tight at the back for much of his half-time team talk, but his defence was breached just 48 seconds after the restart. Portugal are into the final.

Amin Younes looks the Germany player most likely to make something happen. The winger steps inside and dribbles straight at the Portugal defence, beating two men but ultimately halted by the third.
41'
William Carvalho powers his way through midfield, allowing Portugal to turn defence into attack quickly. Rui Jorge's side will just want to keep things tight to preserve their two-goal cushion before the interval.

Good afternoon and welcome along to Goal's live coverage of the European Under-21 Championship between Portugal and Germany. My name's Greg Lea and I'll be guiding you through the action.
Portugal XI: Sa; Esgaio, Paulo Oliveira, Ilori, Guerreiro; Carvalho, Sergio Oliveira, Mario, Silva; Pereira, Cavaleiro.
These two were many people's favourites to win the tournament before it got under way, but one of them will be going home tonight. Portugal topped Group B, winning one game and drawing two, the exact same record as Germany, who finished as Group A runners-up behind Denmark.
Just five minutes to go until kick-off now. The players are on the pitch and ready for the national anthems.
Portugal have never won the European Under-21 Championship, with Germany's only triumph coming six years ago in 2009. Both will be desperate to lift the trophy on Tuesday in Prague.
The referee's whistle sounds and Portugal get us under way!
HALF-TIME: Portugal 3-0 Germany.
What a blistering showing from Portugal so far. They've blown Germany away and are surely heading through to the final now.
You feel that Germany will need an early goal to stand any chance of getting back into this game. Portugal will have to be wary of Horst Hrubesch's side coming flying out of the traps.
The players are back out on the pitch with the second half now just moments away.
FULL-TIME: Portugal 5-0 Germany.
An utterly dominant display from Portugal there, who were truly sublime throughout. Bernardo Silva, William Carvalho and Sergio Oliveira were probably the pick of the bunch, but every single member of Rui Jorge's outfit played their part.
Germany, for their part, were extremely disappointing: they never really got going in an attacking sense and made some defensive errors at the other end. It was a pretty feeble way for Horst Hrubesch's side to exit this tournament.
That concludes Goal's live coverage of Portugal 5-0 Germany in the semi-final of the European Under-21 Championship. Thanks for following. Goodbye!
