There will be two minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
Sloppy from Thiago! The Spaniard concedes possession cheaply atop the Bayern area, which allows Rode to burst through the right channel into the area. Martinez does expertly to stay with him, however, sliding in to break up the move.
86'
Rafinha enters the game and replaces T. Müller.
A final change for Bayern sees Muller replaced by Rafinha.
85'
Dortmund had the life sucked out of them with Muller's goal. Their fighting spirit has faded and the goal has ultimately killed any hopes of a comeback as the tempo begins to peter out.
83'
STAT: Bayern had previously lost each of their last three DFL-Supercup matches since a 2-1 victory over Dortmund in 2012.
81'
That should be enough to seal victory for Bayern, who weren't the better team necessarily today, but certainly the more clinical side. They've made the most of their chances, while Dortmund's finishing has left plenty to be desired, and that's why the score is what it is.
79'
T. Müller has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by M. Hummels.
Hummels picks up the assist.
HIS DROUGHT IS OVER! Hummels lobs the ball back into the danger area and Muller is on hand to bundle it into the back of the net! The man who failed to score in the Euro is back on the mark here, and boy did he need that one!
78'
E. Mor enters the game and replaces P. Aubameyang.
Dortmund make their third and final change as burgeoning Turkish sensation Emre More comes on for his debut, replacing Aubameyang.
75'
Ancelotti's side are doing their best to suck the life out of the match when in possession. They're passing it around at the back, forcing Dortmund to commit bodies into a high press to try and win it back, which could prove dangerous if they're not careful.

Description
73'
Bayern are reverting into a defensive shell a bit as they look to close this one out. It's a dangerous game as pressure slowly builds on their goal, which in turn has seen the noise level in the stadium consistently increase.
71'
J. Kimmich enters the game and replaces A. Vidal.
Joshua Kimmich is the second Bayern substitute introduced, replacing Vidal.
69'
J. Weigl enters the game and replaces A. Ramos.
Julian Weigl is also introduced, at the expense of Ramos.
68'
A. Schürrle enters the game and replaces O. Dembélé.
Andre Schurrle, who is quickly making his way through the Bundesliga, comes on for his Dortmund debut. Dembele is the one replaced.
67'
Possession is being dominated by Dortmund who have a little over 20 minutes to find an equaliser. The boos rain down again, however, as Vidal goes down and the match comes to a halt as the ball is put into touch.
65'
K. Coman enters the game and replaces F. Ribéry.
Bayern make the game's first change as Kingsley Coman comes on to replace compatriot Ribery.
63'
Dortmund need some fresh legs in attack. They've responded well since falling behind, but there's some stale areas high up the pitch that are plaguing them. Ramos and Kagawa have faded a great deal since the opening half-hour, while Gotze, Schurrle and Mor are waiting to hear their names called.
61'
S. Rode gets yellow.
Rode lunges into a challenge but whiffs on the ball, taking Ribery to ground in the process, and that will see the ex-Bayern midfielder booked.
60'
STAT: Dortmund have not beaten Bayern in 90 minutes in their last six attempts, since a 2-0 DFL-Supercup victory in 2014. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in amongst the goals that day.
58'
A. Vidal has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
BAYERN HAVE THE BREAKTHROUGH! Ribery sprints down the left and lashes a ball across the top of the area where Muller dummies it into the path of Vidal. The midfielder's initial shot is stopped by Burki, but this time the Chilean finds the back of the net with the rebound!
56'
Look at those quick feet! Dembele flashes the skill as he dances on the spot to elude a challenge and get a shot off. He drags an effort towards the far post but Neuer dives across to parry!
54'
Massive letdown! Anticipation builds for over a minute as Dortmund strategise and Neuer gets his wall intact. The keeper wins in the end as Castro's effort doesn't make it through on goal, before the follow-up from Dembele is also blocked.
52'
They can make something of this... Vidal trips up Rode just outside the area and Dortmund will have a real good look from this ensuing free-kick. Who will be the one to take, from just over 20 yards out?
50'
SUPER KEEPER! Stunning stuff from players and goalkeeper alike, as Dembele and Passlack combine to carve out a glorious chance for Dortmund, but the full-back's strike is turned aside by a diving Neuer! Remarkable stuff from the keeper who made that look a lot easier than it was!
48'
Bayern start the second half on the ascendency, with Alaba especially lively down the left. The full-back in keen to get forward on the overlap, but it's just the final ball that's eluded him up to this point.
46'
And we're back! Perfectly poised, this second half.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: DORTMUND 0-0 BAYERN.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
43'
CRUCIAL! Burki is off his line in a flash to somehow punch clear a cross in from the right! Had he not come off to get to that, Lewandowski looked poised to open the scoring.
41'
End to end they go at the Signal Iduna Park. Chances have been anything but scarce, yet we still await the breakthrough! Is there a goal to be had before the interval? Both teams are showing plenty of initiative to go and get it.
39'
O. Dembélé gets yellow.
Silly one for Dembele, who kicks the ball away after conceding a free-kick and picks up a yellow as a result.
37'
OUTSTANDING GOALKEEPING! That's absolutely spectacular from Burki, diving across to his right to deny Vidal's header from point-blank range following a cross in from Martinez. The rebound fell kindly for the Chilean as well, but somehow he scoops it over the bar!
35'
OVER! Hummels is turned far too easily there by Dembele, gliding by him with ease! The forward tries to roll a shot in at the far post, but it deflects off the leg of Neuer and goes crashing onto the roof of the net! They're inching closer!
33'
SAVED! Dembele does brilliantly to bring down a cross and fire a volley at goal from in close, but it's straight at Neuer who parries! Moments later the striker has another shooting chance, but he lifts this effort over the bar! Dortmund can't keep squandering these chances!
31'
Look at what it means to them! The tackles are flying in and the intensity has increased ten-fold. These fierce, long-time rivals refuse to be pushed around. There's a statement to be made today and don't they both know it.
29'
F. Ribéry gets yellow.
F. Passlack gets yellow.
Xabi Alonso gets yellow.
Xabi Alonso is booked for dissent, as well.
Ribery is lucky just to get a yellow for that cynical elbow.
Passlack is shown yellow for his role in the altercation.
28'
IT'S ALL BOILING OVER! Ribery loves to play the villain and he's at it again here, following a foul from Passlack, getting his elbow up into the face of the young German defender. His team-mates rush to the right-back's defence as a large crowd forms in the centre of the pitch while the fans get very, very loud.
26'
CLOSE! Stunning stuff from Bayern as they carve Dortmund apart with some incisive passing on the counter. Alaba's penetrating run sees him get into the area, but he has to stretch to get onto the end of the move and just can't poke a strong enough effort on target.
24'
The pace of Dortmund on the counter is proving their best way to get at this Bayern defence, which in turn lacks the speed to keep up. For as good as Lahm, Hummels and Martinez are as defenders, you'll never fancy them in a foot race against the likes of Dembele, Aubameyang and Ramos.
22'
Possession is starting to shift at Bayern grab a stranglehold on the match. They're looking to take control as momentum shifts, with Dortmund having nothing to show for their early dominance.
20'
The tempo has fizzled out a bit as Bayern tighten up at the back, keeping Dortmund at arm's length. Tuchel's side are slowing the game down themselves as they look to patiently build, making sure not to give their opponents the ball cheaply.
18'
You can see the difference in approach already from Ancelotti. Bayern are lined up in a 4-3-2-1 Christmas tree formation, and instead of playing intricate passes to slowly build from the back, they're a bit more insistent on lobbing balls forward into the feet of Lewandowski - something we certainly didn't see under Pep.
16'
Dortmund are completely dominating this match. They've asked all the questions and they're showing all the initiative to push the tempo and find the game's first goal. Bayern are looking a bit vulnerable at the back, with Hummels especially showing some nerves against his former club.
14'
HANDBALL? Dortmund shout for a penalty as Passlack's cross deflects off the knee of Xabi Alonso and onto his arm, but the referee is having none of it. There was nothing the Spaniard could have done there - good non-call.
12'
Needed a better touch! Lahm caught napping from a free-kick as he neglects to track the run of Aubameyang, allowing Castro to play a simple ball over the top to send the striker through. Aubameyang's first touch is heavy, however, and he can't test Neuer with his final shot as a result!
10'
Javi Martínez gets yellow.
OUCH! Martinez lunges into a challenge on Castro, and although he does make contact with the ball first, he gets his studs into the ankle of the Dortmund midfield and that warrants a booking. Certainly looked a painful one.
9'
INCHES WIDE! Nervy start from Hummels! It's his error that allows Aubameyang through on goal, but Martinez does exquisitely to come around with cover and deflect the striker's effort just beyond the near post!
7'
Should have done better! Kagawa does well to time his run and get on the end of a delicious ball over the top from Bartra. He controls with his chest and tries to lash a half-volley at goal, but hits it disappointingly wide of the near post!
5'
There's a lovely tempo to the match early on here, and despite there being not much happening on the pitch, Thomas Tuchel is very animated on his touchline. He's mad about something. This is a big season for Dortmund. They spent a lot of money on some very talented footballers and they feel they're ready to compete for the title again.
3'
Listen to the boos! Dortmund supporters are out in numbers, given the match is being held at their home venue, and the fans let Hummels hear it when he touches the ball. They gave Gotze a similar treatment a couple years ago and they're showing no remorse here as they taunt their former skipper.
1'
AND WE'RE OFF! Bayern get us underway, attacking right to left in their red tops, with Dortmund in their yellow and black stripes.
For the fourth time in five years it’s Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich who square off in this commemorative encounter celebrating the previous season’s champions.
Bayern Munich, winners of both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal last season, will somehow try and improve on their magnificent season as the Carlo Ancelotti era gets underway in Munich – and they have summer recruits Renato Sanches and Mats Hummels to help them reach the next level.
Dortmund are playing today by virtue of their loss to Bayern in the DFB-Pokal final on penalties, but they will have the backing of their home fans today as they search for a statement win to open up the campaign – a season in which they try to close the gap on the Bundesliga’s reigning champions.
A few new faces in the Dortmund XI tonight as summer signings Marc Bartra, Sebastian Rode and Ousmane Dembele are handed their debuts. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line, while teenager Felix Passlack gets the call at right-back.
There's a wealth of new faces on the bench for Dortmund as well, with Andre Schurrle, Raphael Guerreiro and Emre Mor pushing for debuts, while the prodigal son Mario Gotze returns to the Signal Iduna Park two years after his failed move to Bayern - though the fans haven't taken too kindly to his return.
Mats Hummels is the highlight of an otherwise familiar Bayern XI. The centre-half faces off against his former team tonight for the first time after his summer move to Munich. He'll partner Javi Martinez. Robert Lewandowski leads the line, flanked by Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery.
Excitement a plenty from the Signal Iduna Park, but no goals to report as we head into the break scoreless in this DFL-Supercup. Dortmund came close through Aubameyang and Dembele, while a magnificent save from Burki denied Vidal the opener. Stay tuned for what promises to be a thrilling second half!
Goals from Arturo Vidal and Thomas Muller help Die Roten win their first DFL-Supercup since 2012. They go into enemy territory and, despite looking vulnerable on many occasions, they took their chances and that proved to be the difference in the end.
That's all for our live coverage from the Signal Iduna Park, thanks for following along!
