We are into the first of two additional minutes at Camp Nou.
89'
Neymar has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Messi.
GOOOAAAL!! NEYMAR MAKES UP FOR HIS PENALTY MISS! This time Messi turns provider, passing to Neymar who moves away from a poor excuse of a challenge from Otamendi and cuts inside of Stones to bend inside the far post!
Messi makes the most of space afforded to him, dribbling in from the right and feeding Neymar, who does the rest.
87'
Penalty saved by W. Caballero!
CABALLERO SAVES IT! With a hat-trick already in the bag, Messi hands spot-kick duties over to Neymar. However, the Brazilian is unable to take advantage, with a low shot to Caballero's right batted away by the Argentine!
Penalty Save Claudio Andrés Bravo Muñoz
Penalty Miss Neymar da Silva Santos Junior
85'
PENALTY TO BARCA! A sensational run from Messi sees him dance into the box, beating Clichy before being sent to ground by Kolarov! The left-back insists there was no contact, but the referee points to the spot.
84'
The tempo of the match has really dropped off since Mathieu's dismissal, with Barca feeling like they already have the match wrapped up.
82'
GOOD STOP! Rakitic dinks a brilliant cross to the back post from the right, spotting the run of Neymar. The Brazilian tries to guide a first-time finish beyond Caballero, who stays big and manages to make an important block.
80'
André Gomes enters the game and replaces Andrés Iniesta.
Iniesta gets a warm ovation from Camp Nou as he makes his way off to be replaced by Gomes.

S. Agüero enters the game and replaces İ. Gündoğan.

Minute
Description
77'
Fernandinho blocks off Messi on the far side and the home fans want a second yellow card for the Brazilian. One is not forthcoming from the official, though, and play resumes with a Barca free-kick.
75'
Now it is 10 against 10, City appear to have gained in belief. They are more comfortable in possession and are attempting to pen Barca back, who were unable to make the most of a break down the left from Neymar.
73'
J. Mathieu gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD FOR MATHIEU! Just moments after receiving his first booking, Mathieu lunges in on Sterling and receives a second yellow card. He can hardly argue with the decision, which gives City the smallest glimmer of hope.
72'
TER STEGEN SAVES AGAIN! City are awarded a free-kick just outside the box in a right-of-centre position following Mathieu's challenge on Sterling. Kolarov bends it low and hard towards the far post, but Ter Stegen is there once again. The rebound falls for Stones but he is unable to react quickly enough to send it into the back of the net.
71'
J. Mathieu gets yellow.
A clumsy challenge from Mathieu on Sterling results in a free-kick in a promising area for City.
69'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
You just cannot lose concentration when Suarez is about, and Stones has paid the price for that there. The Uruguayan's assist was helped by a deflection off Kolarov, though.
GOOOOOAAAAL!! MESSI HAS A HAT-TRICK! Gundogan passes the ball back to Stones but he lets it run in behind, where Suarez is alert and latches on. He squares to Messi under pressure from Kolarov, and the Argentine guides a cool finish into the back of the net!
68'
A quick free-kick from City sees Fernandinho attempt to clip a pass in behind for De Bruyne, who was in an offside position. It was a tight call, but a slip for the Belgian may have put possession out of his reach anyway.
66'
Clichy is penalised for handling the ball as he slides in to challenge Suarez, and the referee awards Barca a free-kick. The set-piece is taken short and Barca just look to keep the pressur eon with short, sharp passes until Rakitic is blocked off by Clichy.
64'
DE BRUYNE! Just as I say that Gundogan skips away from Busquets and rolls a throughball behind the defence for De Bruyne. He closes in on goal before drilling a low shot towards the far corner with his right foot. Ter Stegen gets down with a strong arm to send the ball away!
63'
Barca are in complete control now, with City unable to deploy a high press in order to dispossess them due to being a man light. They are going to be in for a difficult final half hour.
61'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Andrés Iniesta.
Iniesta displays great awareness to turn and send the ball straight to Messi, who tucks home his second of the night.
GOOOOOOOAL!!! MESSI MAKES IT TWO! City pay the price for a loss of possession in midfield, with De Bruyne the culprit. Iniesta quickly feeds Messi who shifts the ball onto his left foot and curls a low strike beyond Caballero at the near post!
59'
De Bruyne has moved out to the left for City, with Silva on the right and Sterling leading the line through the middle. The gaps are going to start opening for Barca - will they be able to find them? Otamendi has gone to right-back, with Clichy on the left and Kolarov at centre-back.
57'
G. Clichy enters the game and replaces P. Zabaleta.
W. Caballero enters the game and replaces Nolito.
Zabaleta has hobbled off with the medical staff and a bloody patch can be seen on his sock. Surely that will be the end of his match.
There we go - Zabaleta is off and Clichy comes on in his stead.
It is Nolito who is sacrificed for Caballero, with City now facing the daunting task of salvaging a point with 10 men.
55'
In the midst of it all, Zabaleta is down with an injury sustained in a challenge with Digne the build-up. This could affect who Guardiola removes in order to bring Caballero on from the bench.
53'
C. Bravo goes off after a red card!
RED CARD FOR BRAVO! The goalkeeper races off his line but passes the ball straight to Suarez. The striker tries to lift a shot into the net but Bravo puts his hands up to block it, with the referee instantly blowing his whistle for a free-kick and giving the Chilean his marching orders!
51'
JUST WIDE! Neymar sends an out-swinging corner from the right towards the near post. Umtiti rises highest and powers a header towards the near post. His effort fails to hit the target, though, with Bravo watching on as it flies wide.
49'
Stones gets a bit lucky there! The centre-back tries to run the ball out from the back but Suarez chases him every step of the way. He manages to skip away from Neymar at the same time but a challenge from the Uruguayan results in a free-kick for the visitors.
47'
Again City make a positive start to the half, De Bruyne once more making an intelligent run in behind Digne and firing a powerful effort straight at Ter Stegen. Moments before the Belgian got into a similar area and produced a cutback that did not find a team-mate.
46'
The second half has begun in Barcelona!
45' +3
There is the half-time whistle.
45' +2
More good play from Sterling on the right sees him send a cross to the near post for De Bruyne, though it clearly comes off the hand of Digne. The Belgian is unable to supply a finishing touch from such a tight angle.
45' +1
STONES! What a chance for City to draw level! Silva's free-kick from the right finds Stones in space at the back post, but the centre-back guides his header wide of the upright!
AND NOW BARCA ATTACK! Suarez manages to work some space in the box, stabbing an effort goalwards on the spin. Bravo blocks it with his leg but the ball loops up and looks set to drop into the net. The Chilean goalkeeper gets back to his feet and leaps into the air, palming behind for a corner.
44'
Nolito is found in space on the left-hand side of the box but his attempt to cut back onto his right foot and cross is blocked by Mascherano. A quick corner gives De Bruyne the chance to improve upon his team-mate's delivery, but he dinks the ball onto the roof of the net.
43'
Digne is let off with a warning after treading on the foot of Silva with a mistimed challenge just inside the Barca half. There are whistles from the crowd, clearly feeling Silva made a bit too much of that.
42'
STAT: Barcelona have won all four of their previous encounters with Manchester City, all in the last 16 of the Champions League (2013-14 and 2014-15).
40'
Fernandinho gets yellow.
Fernandinho is shown a yellow card for chopping down Neymar in the Barca half. The forward dinked the ball over his fellow Brazilian as he raced in to make the tackle.
39'
J. Mathieu enters the game and replaces Piqué.
And that is the end of Pique's game, who hobbles off to be replaced by Mathieu.
38'
WHAT A SAVE! Gundogan receives the ball from Nolito 25 yards from goal and the midfielder dribbles into the box, beating the crocked Pique before shaping to shoot on his right foot. His attempt to squeeze it inside the far post is met by the hand of Ter Stegen, who parries it to safety.
37'
De Bruyne and Sterling combine on the right, with the former getting in behind Digne and drilling a shot towards the near post. Silva and Nolito are hoping for the ball in the middle, but Ter Stegen dives down to make a crucial interception.
36'
Digne makes a positive run forward but has the ball poked away by Zabaleta. Suarez steps across to try and protect possession and is scythed down from behind by the Argentine right-back. The Barca players are after a yellow card, but the referee does not meet their desires.
34'
Pique still appears to be struggling, and Mathieu is now getting his instructions on the touchline. Barca are about to be forced into a second substitution in the first half due to an injury.
32'
Bravo charges off his line and manages to stop Neymar with his hands before passing the ball on. However, Barca are awarded a free-kick which Messi floats into Rakitic from the left wing. The Croatian gets in front of his marker and connects with a header but is unable to send it on target.
30'
Mathieu goes out to warm up as Pique gets back to his feet and play continues. Will the Spain international be able to see out the remainder of the match?
28'
David Silva gets yellow.
Pique is down and appears to be in some discomfort following a strong challenge by Silva - yes, that is right, Silva. The dimunitive midfielder caught his opponent from behind as he dived in to try and win the ball, with the game paused as Pique receives treatment.
That tackle has earned Silva the first yellow card of the match.
26'
City try to take the sting out of the game with a spell of calmness in possession. That may be partially down to a lack of movement in front of Fernandinho when he received the ball in the centre circle, as once it gets back to Bravo the goalkeeper ends up launching it long.
24'
Zabaleta is the latest player to receive a warning for the referee after he trips Neymar as the Brazilian spins away from him near the halfway line.
22'
Just like a natural right-back, Mascherano goes on a powerful run down the right. However, he is tracked by Nolito and the former Barca winger makes an important challenge.
21'
Suarez slams into the side-netting from an acute angle, but the referee pulls play back for a foul by Messi on Fernandinho in the build-up. Barca are really starting to dictate this match.
19'
After an impressive start, City have been coming under increasing pressure in the past 10 minutes. It finally told, and Barca appear to be growing in confidence. Neymar produces some clever tricks to get past Sterling, but his pass into Suarez is too high and the Uruguayan cannot control it adequately.
17'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOOOOAAAL!! MESSI GIVES BARCA THE LEAD! A tackle from Kolarov from Mascherano is picked up by Messi, who angles a pass into Iniesta inside the six-yard box. The Spaniard's flick into the centre appears to be going nowhere, but Fernandinho slips as he approaches it and the Barce skipper regathers, rounding Bravo before slotting into the net!
15'
City are caught in possession inside their own half twice in quick succession, but Otamendi is there to stop Messi and Suarez combining to unlock the defence.
13'
Stones follows Suarez as he races back to provide an option for a throw-in, but he charges in and sends him to ground for a free-kick. Suarez is back in more familiar areas moments later but is halted by another excellent challenge from Otamendi. The Uruguayan's protests to the referee are ignored.
11'
Silva is caught in possession and Barca charge forward with Suarez sliding a pass to his left for Neymar. The Brazilian attempts to beat Otamendi and race to the byline, but the Argentine stands him up and gets a strong foot in to take it away.
10'
L. Digne enters the game and replaces Jordi Alba.
That will be a blow for Alba, who suffered a muscular injury while representing Spain during the international break. Digne is on, and he will hope to take his chance to impress.
8'
Digne is preparing himself on the sidelines, with Alba appearing to be struggling with a thigh injury. He's been beaten by Sterling a couple of times already here.
7'
The referee has a word with Rakitic after the Croatian catches Kolarov on the near side. It was perhaps the fact he kicked the ball away following the whistle, rather than his challenge.
5'
Zabaleta sends a deep cross in from the right that Mascherano, playing in the unusual position of right-back, heads behind. Silva's delivery from the corner is poor and is headed away by the first man, but City are showing composure in possession early on.
3'
Sterling does excellently down the right, dribbling forward and sliding a pass in behind the defence for De Bruyne to try and latch onto. The Belgian is unable to get to it ahead of Ter Stegen, who comes off his line and smothers the ball.
2'
City signal their intent by pressing high in the early stages, with De Bruyne putting Ter Stegen under pressure inside his own box. Barca manage to work the ball forward and Neymar dribbles into the box from the right, but his cutback does not find a team-mate.

We are underway in Camp Nou!
Hello and welcome to tonight's LIVE coverage of the huge Champions League clash between Barcelona and Manchester City at Camp Nou. The stage is set for a memorable night of European football, with Pep Guardiola heading back to his former stomping grounds.
Sergio Aguero's omission from the Manchester City starting line-up is the big news from Camp Nou but Guardiola's previous comments about his prolific frontman means it cannot be viewed completely as a bolt from the blue.
After Aguero's hat-trick in the 4-0 Group C win over Borussia Monchengladbach last month, Guardiola was offered the chance to shower the Argentina star with fulsome praise but stopped slightly short. Three winless games without the Argentine striker finding the target appear to have persuaded the coach that he is a luxury he cannot afford for this most daunting of assignments.
Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Mascherano, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
Man City (4-2-3-1): Bravo; Zabaleta, Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov; Fernandinho, Gundogan; Sterling, Silva, Nolito; De Bruyne.
Barcelona bench: Masip, Mathieu, Digne, Rafinha, Gomes, Arda, Alcacer.
Man City bench: Caballero, Maffeo, Clichy, Fernando, Sane, Navas, Aguero.
While Aguero not featuring for City has been one of the main talking point in the build-up, the return of Lionel Messi to Barca's starting line-up cannot be forgotten. A groin injury ruled the Argentina forward out of the previous international break, but he came from the bench to score in the 4-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend. He's in the first XI tonight, reuniting the formidable MSN trio in attack from kick-off.
The teams are making their way out onto the pitch at Camp Nou now. The biggest match of this year's Champions League is about to get underway!
A fair bit of whistling for the Champions League anthem there, with numerous Catalan flags appearing across the stands. UEFA have previously fined the club for presenting the Estelada, so there will likely be repercussions for their show of regional pride.
HALF-TIME - Barcelona 1-0 Manchester City: A goal from Messi is the difference in the break, and you have to say the hosts are deserving of their lead. They've played with greater intensity, though they have looked vulnerable to the counter-attack. Gundogan and Stones went close for Guardiola's side and could well have sent them into the break level.
With Gladbach and Celtic drawing 0-0, as it stands Barca will go five points clear of City at the top of the group if the results stay as they are.
FULL-TIME - Barcelona 4-0 Manchester City: A huge result for the Catalan giants, with Messi, returning to the starting line-up after a groin injury, netting a hat-trick. The mercurial Argentina won a penalty which Neymar failed to convert before assisting the Brazilian minutes later to complete the rout.
