But for a miracle, Roma should qualify for the next round of the competition after winning the first leg between these two 4-0 away from home.
Roma come into the game on the back of a 4-1 win over Torino in Serie A, with Villarreal also picking up three points thanks to a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad.

The first-half comes to an end then and that display from Roma has shocked everyone in attendance. Villarreal have had a number of chances throughout the first 45 minutes and they could have made life easier for themselves.
In the second-half, Roma need to do much more and Spalletti may consider making changes at the break. Villarreal need to continue in the same vein and an early goal could see this game swing in their favour.
Luciano Spalletti's side have been in superb form of late, winning their last five matches in all competitions, while Villarreal have disappointed after picking up just two wins from their last five contests.
