OFF THE POST! Bayern break four against one, looking to put the game to bed once and for all. Ribery gets on the end of a chip across the box, but his first-time effort rattles off the woodwork! He can't buy himself a goal today!
88'
That was the first penalty Altintop has ever taken in his long Bundesliga career, and you just have to feel for him. He stepped up in Darmstadt's time of need, when no one else seemed willing, but he's left to rue what could have been.
86'
Penalty saved by T. Starke!
Rafinha gets yellow.
Rafinha is booked for dissent.
STARKE RELEGATES DARMSTADT! Bayern's third-choice keeper guesses right, getting both hands to Altintop's penalty, and he shoves it aside, with Darmstadt's hopes of survival going away with it!
Brave of Altintop to step up to take such a massive spot-kick, but it simply wasn't good enough. It was a comfortable height for Starke and wasn't struck with nearly enough power.
85'
DARMSTADT GIFTED A LIFELINE! Clumsy, clumsy, clumsy from Bernat who barges into the back of Schipplock in the area - a clear as day penalty for the visitors! They have hope, from nothing! Don't go anywhere just yet...
84'
STAT: Bayern secured their record-extending fifth consecutive Bundesliga title thanks to a 6-0 win in Wolfsburg on matchday 31. They have lifted the German title 27 times now – a record. Bayern have now sealed the title in Wolfsburg on three occasions.
82'
It has really been a sluggish second half in Munich. The tempo has never really reached its full potential, with the match struggling to take on any sort of rhythm. There's been long periods of inactivity, sandwiched between the odd chance for Bayern to double their advantage.
80'
J. Rosenthal enters the game and replaces M. Kamavuaka.
Darmstadt's final change of the match sees Jan Rosenthal replace Kamavuaka.
77'
Bad news for Darmstadt on the out-of-town scoreboard, as Ingolstadt leads 1-0 at home to Leverkusen. Should both these results stay the same, Frings' side would be guaranteed to finish bottom of the table. Wolfsburg are also winning, which would pull them out of reach of Darmstadt, even if the visitors were to somehow turn it around this afternoon.
75'
Nearly there for Ribery! Muller has been the architect of many of Bayern's best chances this afternoon, and he nearly carves out another here with a lovely ball across the face of goal for Ribery, but the winger arrives just late as he fails to get the desired contact to turn it in at the far post.
73'
STAT: Darmstadt must win their final three matches (at Bayern, v Hertha, at Gladbach) and have the teams above them drop points. However, Darmstadt failed to score in each of those respective reverse fixtures.

Description
71'
Sanches flies into a late challenge on Gondorf on the flank, somehow escaping a booking. It presents a good opportunity for the visitors to get their big bodies forward from the back, but the ensuing delivery is poor and straight into the arms of Starke. Time running out on Torsten Frings' side.
69'
FINE SAVE! Lewandowski is denied his goal, after doing so well to peel off his marker and meet Alonso's corner at the far post, but Esser reacts expertly to make the save! Fine piece of goalkeeping, that, to keep Darmstadt's slim hopes alive!
67'
Xabi Alonso enters the game and replaces J. Kimmich.
Xabi Alonso, due to retire at season's end, comes on here to replace Kimmich for the final 23 minutes.
66'
S. Sam enters the game and replaces M. Vrančić.
Darmstadt's second change of the afternoon sees the speedy Sidney Sam replace Vrancic.
65'
THE FLAG DENIES DARMSTADT A LIFELINE! It's the right decision from the linesman, and not an entirely difficult one, but at least a glimmer of hope and confidence here for the visitors as Schipplock is played through, a yard offside, and finishes wonderfully through the legs of Starke. No goal, but encouragement nonetheless.
63'
STAT: The newly crowned champions have lost just one home game against a team bottom of the table in the last 30 years – 1-0 vs. Hannover in November 2016. Current Darmstadr player Jan Rosenthal played for the Reds that day.
61'
S. Sirigu gets yellow.
Bayern continue in the ascendency - though it's more like domination and complete control than it is ascendency at this point - and it leads to the first booking of the afternoon for Sirigu.
59'
S. Schipplock enters the game and replaces F. Platte.
It is Schipplock who is brought on here, replacing Platte. Like-for-like from the visitors, which is a bit disappointing, opting not to play with two strikers.
58'
Darmstadt, sensing the need to strike up some inspiration, make their first change of the night here. It looks as though Sven Schipplock will be coming on. They're running out of time to keep their top-flight status alive for at least another week.
56'
SHOULD BE TWO! Incisive throughball from Muller to carve Damstadt apart and play Lewandowski in. The striker has only the keeper to beat, but unselfishly opts to try and square for Kimmich, who looked to have a simple tap-in, but Sulu is able to slide in to break it up and deny a goal!
54'
You know Lewandowski will be working hard for a goal today. His wife gave birth to their first child earlier this week, a daughter, and the striker would love nothing more than to mark this special occasion with a goal. Will be curious to see his celebration should he manage it.
52'
STAT: Bayern have not conceded a second half goal in any of their last 13 Bundesliga matches.
50'
Bayern pick up where they left off, attacking at will and at their desired tempo, after Darmstadt squandered a shooting chance for Vrancic. We should see the tempo rise, one would expect, over the course of this second half, with Darmstadt left with little choice but to remove the shackles.
48'
To make matters worse for Darmstadt, Sulu goes down holding his head after a collision with Lewandowski in the air. That's not a player the visitors can afford to lose here, but it looks as though he will be alright to continue - at least for now. Something to monitor at least.
46'
Back underway in Munich!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 1-0 DARMSTADT.
45'
There will be one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44'
The tempo has fizzled a bit as we approach the interval. There doesn't figure to be much added time, if any, at the end of this first half, so Darmstadt look like they will go into the break with at least the hope of being able to turn it around in the second half. That wouldn't be the case at 2-0.
42'
Ribery really looks in the mood today. He's making waves in attack, while also providing some stout defensive support on the flank. Here he does well to cut inside, flush with the top of the box, and open up space for a shot, but his eventual effort strikes the back of Muller as it fails to go through and test Esser.
40'
STAT: Robert Lewandowski alone has more Bundesliga goals than the entire Darmstadt team – that’s this season (28-26) and overall (149-138).
38'
Darmstadt's ventures forward are becoming more frequent, but their end product is very poor. Heller and Vrancic are starting to find some space on the flanks, but they're lacking support from Sirigu and Holland. The visitors can't afford to be cautious with relegation on the line.
36'
You can feel Bayern inching closer to a second here. Lewandowksi, who hasn't touched the ball very much throughout the first half, is starting to get much more involved here. He's working harder to make himself available in the centre, and his runs off the ball are helping to open up space for his team-mates.
34'
Right back in attack come Bayern, unable to be held out for long. Muller and Costa combine superbly, with the latter flashing an effort agonisingly wide of the near post. That would have been something special, most notably the assist from Muller, which required some excellent vision and skill.
32'
Darmstadt have managed a bit of a push back here, doing their best to halt Bayern's momentum, because they are like a freight train when they get going - there's just no stopping them. The visitors do orchestrate a save out of Starke, but it's all for not anyhow as the offside flag is raised.
30'
STAT: Bayern average the most possession in the league (65%) and attempt a league-high average of 721 passes per game. Darmstadt are bottom of both rankings (41%; 306).
28'
Darmstadt are letting Bayern play their game, and that's not the recipe for beating Die Roten. The visitors need to be more aggressive, close down on the ball quicker, put in some challenges and really disrupt their rhythm - but are doing none of that at the moment and relegation is their punishment.
26'
STUNNING SAVE! Superb piece of goalkeeping from Esser who quite sensationally reaches back at full-stretch to parry Muller's header behind! Muller dove in with reckless abandon to get on the end of Rafinha's venomous cross, and he was so nearly rewarded!
24'
Darmstadt are the architects of their own downfall this afternoon. They can't get the ball out from the back, and when they do finally get a touch, their passes are wild and there's always a red shirt that's first to get on the loose ball. They have to buckle down and show some more intensity and desire.
22'
Well as things stand, Darmstadt are relegated. In fact, they were relegated right when the match kicked off, as they need nine points from nine over the final three weeks of the season. They've been battling to keep their hopes alive of late, but they're really hanging by a thread now.
20'
STAT: Bayern have more than three times as many points (73-24), goals (79-26) and wins (22-7) than Darmstadt. The Lilies have conceded over three times as many goals (58-17).
18'
Juan Bernat has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by F. Ribéry.
BAYERN DRAW FIRST BLOOD! Ribery the architecht, driving forward and picking out Bernat in the area, who impressively walks in on goal and bends a finish in at the far post with the outside of his boot! They're really celebrating in Munich now!
Ribery did well to weave his way through there and provide the assist.
17'
Darmstadt have hardly had a touch of the ball in the last 10 minutes. Their Bundesliga status hangs in the balance, and while this is a tough ask for them, it's certainly not been good enough from them in the opening 15 minutes.
15'
Good bit of battling between Lewandowski and Sulu, as the pair chase down a throughball. The Darmstadt centre-half doesn't back down in the slightest, shouldering the Bayern striker down with authority as the ball runs safely into the arms of Esser, with the referee waving away half-hearted appeals for a penalty.
13'
Close! Bayern win a free-kick on the fringes of the final third, which Kimmich floats in nicely. It's a good, flat delivery that looks poised to find the head of Alaba once again, but it's maybe half an inch too tall for the defender, who just fails to make the decisive contact needed!
11'
Bayern have taken the match by the horns, camping out in the attacking half as they probe for an opener. Darmstadt have to be wary of dropping too deed in defence. It's one thing to invite them forward and close down quickly, but the visitors are allowing an awful lot of space here for the champions to attack.
9'
STAT: The sides have met eight times competitively, with Darmstadt losing their last seven – their worst-ever run of defeats against a particular opponent.
7'
Bayern's first threatening attack of the afternoon is orchestrated through Rafinha on the right. He bursts into the area and tries to lash a delivery across the face of goal, but a deflection takes it into the side-netting. Alaba rises to meet the ensuing corner from Kimmich, but the header is sent safely into Esser's arms.
5'
Positive stuff from Darmstadt in these opening stages, not affording Bayern much space, while looking a threat themselves on the break. It's very much a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere at the Allianz Arena today, and it's likely to remain that way long into the night - regardless of how this match unfolds, one would imagine.
3'
Darmstadt like to catch teams on the counter, capable of breaking with remarkable pace, and they're allowing Bayern to come at them here, biding their time before opportunity strikes. Sirigu bombs forward from right-back to get on the end of a decent break, but he's unable to get his shot through - and moments later the visitors win a corner.

AND THEY'RE OFF! Bayern get us underway on this sunny Saturday afternoon in Munich, attacking right to left in their red home strip. Darmstadt are in blue.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich celebrate their Bundesliga coronation at home to bottom-of-the-table Darmstadt.
Bayern clinched their record-extending fifth successive Bundesliga title in emphatic fashion last weekend with a 6-0 drubbing away to Wolfsburg. The pressure is off today as they return to the friendly confines of the Allianz Arena to celebrate.
Last weekend’s victory over Wolfsburg marked the final meaningful match for Carlo Ancelotti’s side this season, ahead of what promises to be an uneventful month of May with the title secured and the club already knocked out of the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.
Darmstadt are showing some incredible resolve and fighting spirit, winning each of their last three league matches as they aim to salvage what slim hopes they do have of survival. They must win out, and get help elsewhere, to stay in the top-flight.
With the odds stacked against them, it’s only realistic to suggest that the three successive wins have done nothing but prolong the inevitable, but the club deserves a ton of credit for the way they have continued to battle – though it’s likely their fate will be sealed this afternoon.
Carlo Ancelotti makes an abundance of changes from last weekend's title-clinching win at Wolfsburg, rotating his squad with first place locked up. Tom Starke, Rafinha, Jerome Boateng, Juan Bernat, Renato Sanches, Douglas Costa and Franck Ribery come into the side at the expense of Sven Ulreich, Philipp Lahm, Javi Martinez, Mats Hummels, Thiago Alcantara, Arjen Robben and Kingsley Coman.
Torsten Frings names an unchanged side to the one which beat Frieburg 3-0 last weekend, taking a delicate approach so as not to tamper with the chemistry his side have found late in the campaign.
Juan Bernat's goal has the champions ahead at the half in Munich on this day for celebration, as they return home after winning the title last weekend. It was a half they very much dominated from the off, as Darmstadt stare the very real threat of relegation in the face.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Juan Bernat's first-half goal dooms Darmstadt to the second division, as Bayern seal their fate. The visitors were handed a late lifeline, but Hamit Altintop's penalty was shoved aside by Tom Starke, along with Darmstadt's hopes of survival.
