Last chance to get forward for PSG. One last wave of attack for Montpellier to hold off.
90' +2
Montpellier survive another spell of PSG pressure as Moura gives away a free-kick for an aerial foul at the back post.
90' +1
A chipped pass finds Cavani in the centre of the Montpellier box. He uses his first touch to turn Hilton, who reacts well to prevent Cavani getting the shot away. A little extra for his efforts as well as Hilton wins a free-kick. Two minutes left to hang on for what would be an impressive point for Montpellier.
90'
The fourth official has indicated four minutes of additional time.
89'
The throw is taken quickly and Berchiche plays it into Verratti in the centre of the Montpellier box. He turns well but it squashed out by multiple Montpellier players, who come away with the ball. Good defending from the home side who have really held off well against PSG today.
88'
Montpellier are palying it safe and trying to keep possession and play down the clock. At least that looked to be the plan, before Hilton attempted a chipped pass onto the run of nobody that bounces out of play for a PSG throw.
85'
Another lucky escape for Montpellier. A cross into the Montpellier box is deep and Lecomte comes out to claim it. He completely misjudges the flight of the ball and it takes a lucky deflection back off the keeper from Mbappe's touch to see the ball away safely. Lecomte was very, very fortunate to get away with that.
84'
It is hard to call which way this tie is going to go. PSG looked threatening for a brief spell but Montpellier seem to have them back under control. They are handling everything PSG are throwing at them.
82'
I. Mbenza enters the game and replaces C. Ninga.
Final Montpellier change as Casimir Ninga makes way for Isaac Mbenza.
81'
A Montpellier free-kick in the right around 35 yards from the PSG box. A good delivery could be all they need to snatch the tie away from PSG here.

80'
G. Lo Celso enters the game and replaces T. Motta.
Thiago Motta is off in place of Giovani Lo Celso in PSG's final change of the afternoon.
78'
Montpellier looked to have gathered themselves and regained their shape to hold out for these final 10 minutes or so. PSG are back to struggling to find space behind this stubborn defence.
75'
Lucas Moura gets yellow.
This could be an interesting final 15 minutes. Montpellier are still trying to catch PSG on the counter-attack whenever they get the chance and PSG are starting to pile more bodies forward in search of that elusive winning goal.
Lucas Moura hasn't had much impact on the game since coming on and he has now received a booking for a late challenge.
71'
Dani Alves enters the game and replaces T. Meunier.

69'
Meunier does well to drive his way to the byline but he can't get his cross into the box, which is cleared away by the Montpellier defence.
67'
A good counter-attack from Montpellier needs Areola quick off his line to mop up the danger. Ninga breaks to the left of the PSG box before rolling a pass with pace towards the penalty spot for Roussillon. The midfielder is on on goal if he can reach it first but Areola reads the danger well.
66'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces J. Draxler.
PSG make their first change of the day. Julian Draxler is replaced by Lucas Moura.
64'
Close! Verratti chips in a brilliant pass to Mbappe. The striker brings it under his control but he is robbed from behind before he can get his shot away. It deflects into a defender and then a second defender before sailing over the bar. A lucky escape for Montpellier there as that could have gone anywhere.
62'
Montpellier with a rare break forward. Ninga stands up Meunier on the left of the box, before opening his body to try and curl one into the far corner. It's low and lacks any real power, allowing Areola to claim it without much hassle.
58'
PSG starting to pry open this Montpellier defence now. Mbappe creates space down the left of the box to fire a low pass across the six yard box. Cavani tries to get his foot to it but he is just inches away. A cross is then fired back in towards the back post and Mbappe heads it down, but it bounces narrowly wide of his near post.
56'
Mbappe and Meunier link up well on the right wing to create space on the edge of the Montpellier box, but Mbappe's cross is blocked by the first man.
53'
More good work down the left wing as Lasne beats Meunier before firing a cross towards the near post. It is too close to the keeper though. Good build up play in these last few minutes from Montpellier and a few signs that this game is starting to open up a little.
51'
A chance at the other end! Roussillon runs the ball towards the byline after a clever flick by Paul Lasne. He manages to pull it back towards the edge of the six yard box. Ninga's there waiting but it is cut out by Thiago Silva.
50'
A chance nearly falls to Mbappe after a clever piece of play by Cavani. A cross from the right looks to be finding the Uruguayan on the edge of the box, but he ducks slightly at the last second and allows it to bounce through to Mbappe at the back post. His chipped effort just drops wide of the far post though.
49'
The second half has started just as the first half had ended. Montpellier are camped on the edge of their box in numbers while PSG move the ball around, looking for the opening.
47'
The first real chance of the game for PSG. A sloppy pass towards the centre-backs from Ellyes Skhiri falls straight to the feet of Cavani. He lays it off to Mbappe in the left of the box, who's low curling effort on goal is too close to the goalkeeper and Lecomte drops low to collect it comfortably.
46'
Montpellier get us back underway! kicking left to right.
45' +1
Mbappe drives down the left again and swings in a cross towards Cavani in the Montpellier box. Lecomte does well to get a hand to it though and palm it away for a corner. Draxler swings it in again but it is easily cleared by Montpellier.
45'
The fourth official has indicated two minutes of additional time.
44'
A bit of a scramble in midfield eventually finds its way out to Yuri Berchiche on the left of the midfield. He drives forward towards the edge of the box and unleashes a powerful drive from around 30 yards out. It flies over the bar though. High, high over the bar.
42'
Draxler's delivery flashes dangerously across the face of goal, bypassing all the defenders. Marquinhos tries to reach it at the back post but he just can't quite get there. Better from PSG.
41'
Pedro Mendes gets yellow.
Yellow card for Filipe Mendes for a late challenge on Mbappe.
40'
The initial corner is cleared but it is not fully dealt with by Montpellier. Draxler has it on the wing and slips as he tries to worm his way beyond the defender. Another PSG corner. This time it is cleared safely by Montpellier.
39'
A Montpellier attack comes to a tame end and it suddenly falls to PSG to counter. Mbappe has the ball just inside the left of the box and turns wide to open himself for the shot, which is blocked away for a corner.
37'
Another lucky escape for Montpellier. Aguilar tries what looks to be an overheaded clearance that goes horribly wrong. It falls into the feet of Cavani barely 10 yards out, he is unable to control it and it bobbles up between him and another PSG player before Cavani is adjudged to have handballed. Aguilar can breathe a sigh of relief.
34'
A PSG corner now. They are looking short on ideas when they get in and around the box. There is little space to work with between the mass of Montpellier shirts. Draxler's corner is swung in well though at the near post. Ruben Aguilar meets it but is unable to direct his head on target and, in the end, it was never troubling Lecomte.
31'
C. Ninga gets yellow.
Casimir Ninga receives Montpellier's first yellow card of the day.
30'
Montpellier are beginning to grow into this game and are arguably looking the more threatening side. A cross from the right almost finds the swinging foot of Stephane Sessegnon but it is just cut out at the last second by a PSG defender.
28'
A pass is lofted over the PSG defence for Ninga to chase. The PSG defenders are taking no chances and clear it out for a corner. It is swung in towards the near post but there is no Montpellier shirt there to meet it.
27'
Mbappe, now on the right wing, drives to the byline and chips the ball towards the centre of the box again. This one is too close to Lecomte though who catches it at his near post.
24'
It has been a fairly tame affair so far today. The fans are largely quiet as well. PSG continue to maintain possession with Montpellier happy to try and hit them on the counter. There isn't much happening at either end in terms of chances so far, excluding the two half chances for Cavani and Draxler.
21'
A dangerous looking cross towards the run of Cavani from the left is headed behind for a corner by Vitorino Hilton. The corner is swung in deep again but it is too close to Lecomte, who claims it at the second attempt.
19'
Mbappe makes a charge down the left wing, beating his defender and crossing it back towards the centre of the box. Draxler makes a connection with it and it deflects behind for a corner. The corner is swung into the centre of the box but can only find the hands of goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte.
17'
Draxler does well to make it to the byline inside the Montpellier box and does even better to pull it back to find Edinson Cavani in the centre of the box. He swipes his leg at it first time and completely miscues his shot. Montpellier can count themselves fortunate there.
15'
Brilliant interception by Alphonse Areola. A swinging cross towards the back post looks to be finding Roussillon, but the PSG keeper just gets hit fingers to it to palm it over the head of the waiting winger.
14'
Sambia is over it and he drives it low towards goal, but it hits a PSG leg and away safely.
13'
A free-kick for Montpellier now from shooting distance after Thiago Motta brought down Junior Sambia.
12'
Marquinhos gets yellow.
Yellow card for Marquinhos for a late challenge.
11'
Montpellier have a free-kick just inside the PSG half. Jerome Roussillon with the delivery towards the back post from the right but there is no Montpellier shirt to meet it, allowing Alphonse Areola to claim with ease.

7'
Montpellier get a rare chance on the counter after Kylian Mbappe loses the ball on the edge of the the Montpellier box. Casimir Ninga tries to burst down the left wing but Marquinhos comes across to muscle him off the ball.
5'
A slow start to the game as PSG are happy to knock the ball around the midfield area. Montpellier have plenty behind the ball to snuff out the space on the edges of the box.
2'
Early control from the off for PSG here. Montpellier are barely able to hold onto the ball for more than a couple of seconds before the away side get it back.
1'
PSG get us underway!
The cross by Sessegnon is swung in well towards the centre of the box but it is defended well, headed clear and far away from the box. Montpellier come forward again but nothing comes of it.
Good afternoon and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Ligue 1 game between Montpellier and Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade de la Mosson.
Montpellier recovered from a run of four games without a win when they beat Troyes away from home last weekend. Their only other league win so far this season was also a 1-0 victory, at home to Caen. Despite their recent run they are still twelth in the table, but they face the daunting prospect of facing the star-studded line-up Paris Saint-Germain have at their disposal.
The tie against PSG is the start of a very tough run for Michel Der Zakarian’s team. They face a trip to second placed Monaco next weekend before hosting Nice a week later, after which they face a trip to high flying Saint-Etienne.
Paris Saint-Germain on the other hand are looking to maintain their 100% start to the league season. They have considered only three goals in that run and Montpellier will be very hard put to stop that run continuing today.
The big news coming out of the PSG camp is that Neymar will not be featuring today with a minor foot injury. The world record signing from Barcelona was involved in a dispute with fellow forward Edinson Cavani in their 2-0 win over Lyon last weekend. Angel Di Maria and Javier Pastore are also expected to miss out again with respective thigh and calf injuries.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this afternoon…
Paris Saint-Germain XI (4-3-3): Areola; Meunier, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Berchiche; Verratti, Motta, Rabiot; Draxler, Cavani, Mbappe.
Paris Saint-Germain Substitutes: Trapp, Kimpembe, Kurzawa, Alves, Moura, Lo Celso, Nkunku.
Michel Der Zakarian makes only one change from the Montpellier side that beat Troyes last weekend. Daniel Cogre replaces Nordi Mukiele in defence.
Unai Emery makes four changes to the side that beat Lyon. As expected, Neymar does not feature with Julian Draxler taking the Brazilian’s place on the right of the front three. Layvin Kurzawa, Dani Alves and Presnel Kimpembe drop to the bench in place of Thomas Meunier, Marco Verratti and Marquinhos.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: MONTPELLIER 0-0 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
The players are making their way back out onto the pitch, ahead of the start of the second half.
FULL-TIME: MONTPELLIER 0-0 PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
A very tame affair in the first half that never really threatened to come to life. PSG had a couple of half chances fell to the feet of Cavani and Draxler but neither could make a clean connection to put the away side in the lead. Montpellier threatened for a while on the counter-attack but never truly looked like scoring themselves. Level at the break and PSG will need to show more creativity in the final third if they are to maintain their 100% start to the season.
A good point for Montpellier but PSG will likely be disappointed to have not walked away with all three. The home side defended well and limited PSG to very few clear cut chances, but those chances they did have were horribly miscued by the likes of Edinson Cavani and Julian Draxler. Montpellier threatened on the counter attack a number of times but never made the most of it. Unai Emery's side looked like they had gained the upper hand in a 10 minute spell where they created numerous chances but they could not find a goal, and Montpellier were allowed to regroup and close them out once again. All square in the end.
