We're underway at Celtic Park.
Good morning and welcome to the live commentary of the SPL clash between Celtic and Rangers at Celtic Park.
Celtic have not lost in the Old Firm derby in the league since 2012 and they will be looking to continue their dominant form over their rivals this afternoon. Since losing their unbeaten record, Brendan Rodgers' men have responded with three wins on the bounce, defeating Partick Thistle, Aberdeen and Dundee. The Bhoys have scored seven goals and have conceded none in that run - an ominous sign for Rangers.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Rangers have won five out of their last seven matches, although that spell included back-to-back defeats at the hands of St Johnstone and Kilmarnock. Graeme Murty's men did record a 2-0 win over Motherwell last time out to head into the contest with a semblance of form, but they will need a complete performance this afternoon.
Celtic subs: De Vries, Simunovic, Bitton, Griffiths, Ntcham, Edouard, Johnston.
Despite transfer speculation linking him with a move away from the club, Moussa Dembele leads the line for Rodgers' men this afternoon. Dembele has been touted with a move to Brighton, but starts as one of three changes in the Old Firm. Scott Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong are also recalled to the starting line-up, while Olivier Ntcham and Leigh Griffiths drop to the bench. Jonny Hayes was ruled out for the season after breaking his leg on Boxing Day.
Ryan Jack misses out for the Gers this afternoon as Josh Windass and Daniel Candeias start in two changes from their win over Millwall. Candeias replaces Jack in the middle of the park, while Windass starts as part of a three-man attacking line along with Alfredo Morelos and Niko Kranjcar as Eduardo Herrera misses out.
STAT ATTACK! Rangers have not won at Celtic Park since October 2010, losing four of their five visits since whilst scoring just two goals in total.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: CELTIC 0-0 RANGERS
Celtic spurn a huge opportunity on the stroke of half-time to take the lead in the old firm against Rangers as Scott Sinclair fired wide. The Gers made a bright start to the game, but were gradually pegged back by the home side. The Bhoys had several good openings to forge ahead, but between Wes Foderingham and poor finishing they've been unable to notch the breakthrough.
FULL-TIME: CELTIC 0-0 RANGERS
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
The Old Firm ends all square as neither side are able to force a breakthrough. Rangers may feel that they should have ended the game with all three points as Alfredo Morelos missed a series of chances in the second half, although Celtic also displayed a lack of clinical edge in the first period, with Scott Sinclair firing wide just before the interval. Graeme Murty will be the happier of the two managers heading into the winter break.
