There will be just three minutes added on at the end of this match.
89'
Marco Asensio has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by T. Hernández.
Theo Hernandez, who has been quiet on the overlap, provides the assist at such a crucial moment.
LEGANES HEARTS ARE BROKEN! An absolutely sublime finish from Asensio, who steps in front of Bustinza at the near post and thumps a stunning volley into the top corner on the end of a tidy cross from Theo! What a time to find the breakthrough!
88'
Tensions rising in Butarque as Real Madrid park themselves in attack, sending cross after cross into the area. None of them really amount to much, as they lack a clear target in the centre, before Kovacic bounces an effort straight into the waiting arms of Champagne.
86'
STAT: Real Madrid have already played out to two goalless draws this season. They did not have a single one during the 2016/17 campaign.
84'
It's not looking likely that we will get a winner in this match, but Leganes are looking the likelier side to find a breakthrough. Modric and Isco have been starved of possession since coming on. The visitors manage their first spell in attack for some time here, and it ends tamely in a goal-kick.
82'
Omar Ramos enters the game and replaces C. Beauvue.
A final change of the night as the hosts bring on Omar Ramos in place of Beauvue.
80'
Into the final 10 minutes now and everything still to play for. Another 90 minutes awaits these sides in Madrid in six days, but one of these clubs could provide a massive boost to their chances with a late winner here.
79'
Some of the big guns are on for Real Madrid as they give the illusion of pushing on for a winner, but that has been as far as possible from reality. They have enjoyed less possession and spent hardly any time in attack since the arrival of Modric and Isco.
77'
STAT: Leganes have won each of their last four matches at the Butarque. They last won five in a row at home between November 2014 and February 2015, in the Segunda Division.

Description
75'
MASSIVE SAVE! It's the first real save Casilla has had to make this evening, and it's come at a vital time for his side! Amrabat clips a cross in for Beauvue, unmarked at the far post, and he cannons a volley at goal, but Casilla dives across to parry at full-stretch!
73'
Isco enters the game and replaces Marcos Llorente.
Isco replaces Llorente for the final 20 minutes or so, including stoppage-time.
72'
BIG SAVE! Great footwork from Vazquez to dribble his way through on goal, but Champagne gets off his line in a hurry to close down the angle and make a crucial stop!
71'
A quick chance for Amrabat who sends a volley wide of the far post. Leganes have looked miles better going forward in this second half, and the belief is flowing through their side now. It's a cauldron of noise in Butarque right now as these supporters urge their players forward to try and win it.
70'
N. Amrabat enters the game and replaces José Naranjo.
A second change here from the hosts as Nordin Amrabat comes on to replace the recently booked Naranjo. Can the Watford loanee provide the difference on the scoresheet?
69'
STAT: Real Madrid have scored at least a goal in each of their last 10 Copa del Rey matches, dating back to a 3-0 defeat at Cadiz in 2015.
67'
L. Modrić enters the game and replaces Dani Ceballos.
José Naranjo gets yellow.
Naranjo a bit too eager to win the ball back and that will see him into the book - a third yellow card for the hosts.
A welcome sight for Real Madrid supporters here as Luka Modric is brought on to replace Ceballos.
66'
OFF THE BAR! What a chance that was for Leganes! Finally a dangerous delivery from a free-kick, and it's send crashing off the crossbar, actually coming off the head of Llorente!
64'
El Zhar can hardly believe his luck as he's dragged down rather obviously by Nacho, who made no attempt to win the ball. That's a clear free-kick that the hosts have been denied, though the way they've been crossing the ball in perhaps it's for the best.
62'
Gerard Gumbau gets yellow.
A second booking of the night for Leganes as Gumbau sees yellow.
61'
D. Brašanac enters the game and replaces Rubén Pérez.
Leganes' first change sees Ruben Perez give way to Darko Brasanac.
60'
On paper, a goalless draw would certainly appear to favour Real Madrid as these sides will head back to the Bernabeu for the return leg. That being said, Zidane's side have played out to a pair of 2-2 draws in their second legs in the cup this season, both at home against clubs from lower divisions in Spain. So maybe this wouldn't be such a bad result for the hosts?
58'
BIG CHANCE! Rico makes strides down the left and plays Naranjo in. The winger tries to drive a delivery across the face of goal, but Casillas gets enough of a touch to take the sting out of it, before the ball is ushered to safety.
56'
STAT: Leganes have scored at least a goal in each of their last six Copa del Rey matches, and 15 of their last 16, only held goalless in a 1-0 defeat at Granada in 2015.
54'
Leganes pouring a bit of pressure on here, as they enjoy their first prolonged spell in attack of the night. Carvajal concedes a free-kick this time, with Rico winning the foul, but again the quality of the delivery is a letdown as the first defender is able to clear. There was nothing inviting about that.
52'
El Zhar does very well to win his side a corner with some strong, determined running down the right flank, but the resulting set-piece is poor and Real Madrid deal with it easily. That's simply not going to cut it.
50'
Real Madrid do have some of their big guns available off the bench tonight, and you have to wonder if Zidane will be tempted to bring on one or two of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric or Isco. An away goal would prove incredibly valuable to take back with them to the Bernabeu.
48'
Plenty of Real Madrid possession in these early stages, but much of the same at the end of it. Leganes have plenty back in defence to suffocate the visitors as their approach in that regard has proven flawless.
46'
Here we go again! Real Madrid get the second half underway...
45' +1
HALF-TIME: LEGANES 0-0 REAL MADRID.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
43'
A free-kick on the very edge of the penalty area, almost flush with the byline, presents Real Madrid with a chance to threaten. A cross in floated in and almost pulled back into the path of Carvajal, who drives a first-time effort at goal, but it takes a wicked deflection and heads behind for a corner.
41'
STAT: Real Madrid are winless in their last three matches across all competitions. They have not gone without victory in four successive matches since a string of four draws in September-October 2016.
39'
N. El Zhar gets yellow.
El Zhar goes in studs first, arriving late with a challenge near the halfway line, and that will see him into the book.
37'
Real Madrid are showing a bit of urgency for the first time in this match, with half-time rapidly approaching. They have lacked creativity and quality with their final balls. Leganes have defended excellently, but it's not been the toughest of asks for them, either.
35'
To make that miss even worse, all Kovacic had to do was roll a pass across the face of goal and Mayoral would have had a simple tap-in. That's disappointing from the Croatian, who did so well to carve out the chance in the first place.
33'
WHAT A CHANCE! Kovacic presses and wins the ball from Perez just outside the penalty area. He takes a few steps forward and has the goal at his mercy, but somehow sends his effort wide of the near post! That's a massive let-off for the hosts!
31'
A decent spell managed by the hosts as they push forward and ask a few questions of the Real Madrid defence. Naranjo gets into space on the right to attempt to send in a pair of crosses, but neither prove troublesome, before Eraso skies a strike from 25 yards.
29'
STAT: Leganes have won five of their last six home matches in the Copa del Rey, conceding just twice in those five victories (L1).
27'
Real Madrid are starting to adopt a bit more width, which is stretching Leganes out a bit at the back. Ceballos and Lucas link up well on the right, but the former's cross in is knocked behind for a corner, before the resulting set-piece is claimed by Champagne.
25'
Leganes remain very well organised in defence as they suffocate this feared Real Madrid attack. The visitors have had little to show for their lopsided time in possession, as they continue to go in search of answers.
23'
A first chance of the match, if you wish to call it that. Real Madrid win a free-kick on the left, about 30 yards from goal. Asensio bends a cross in from the set-piece, but Varane's header sails high into the air and a good 10 feet over the bar, at least.
21'
Through 20 minutes and we await the first scoring opportunity of th match. This should not come as much of a surprise as the hosts like to play it close to the vest at home, conceding very rarely. They are a hard side to break down and while Real Madrid boast plenty of quality, their inexperience in the side is showing.
19'
STAT: Real Madrid are in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey for the first time since 2013/14, when they went on to win the competition.
17'
NO FOUL GIVEN! Beauvue has a look of disbelief plastered over his face as he glances over at the referee after being dragged to ground from behind by Carvajal! That wouldn't have been a clear break, but the striker definitely had a chance to go through on goal there had he stayed on his feet, but there was little he could do with the Real Madrid full-back clattering into him.
15'
Nacho enters the game and replaces Jesús Vallejo.
A like-for-like replacement as Nacho comes on to deputise for the injured Vallejo.
13'
An injury concern for Real Madrid here as Vallejo pulls up and clutches his hamstring following what looked like a harmless clearance. He's got a grimace on his face and requires attention from the training staff. At the risk of making assumptions, he's likely going to be unable to continue.
11'
Tempers rise following a late and cynical trip from Gumbau on Ceballos. The referee didn't see any malice in it, though, and he makes a good decision to let the midfielder escape with a warning but no booking.
9'
STAT: Leganes have kept seven clean sheets in 10 competitive matches at the Butarque this season.
7'
Plenty of possession for Real Madrid thus far, but they have not been able to break into the final third. They're spending the bulk of their time on the periphery. A clever ball over the top finally leads to a decent opportunity with Vazquez in a forward position, but his cross lacks quality.
5'
Real Madrid have yet to mount an attack, with the hosts showing a bit more urgency all over the pitch. Leganes certainly have a spring in their step, keen to push forward when they have the ball, and eager to win it back when they don't.
3'
The hosts full of energy in these opening minutes, spurred on by this boisterous home support. This could be a famous night at the Butarque should things fall Leganes' way, so there is no shortage of anticipation in the air.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Leganes in blue and white as they get the match underway, attacking right to left, with Real Madrid in their dark-blue away strip.
Hello and welcome to the Butarque for live coverage of the Copa del Rey as Leganes host Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final tie!
With all due respect to their opponents, Real Madrid have had a relatively easy path to the quarter-finals, following aggregate victories over Fuenlabrada and Numancia, currently third-tier and second-tier clubs in Spain.
They will go up against top-flight opposition for the first time in this edition of the competition, but Leganes will have to be close to flawless to deny Real Madrid victory, Zinedine Zidane’s side realising this is their only real chance at a domestic trophy this season, currently training LaLiga leaders Barcelona by 19 points.
Leganes have reached unchartered waters in the Copa del Rey, appearing in the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time in club history, in this their second season in the Spanish top flight.
Asier Garitano’s side secured passage to the quarter-finals by virtue of a shock victory over Villarreal in the last-16, made possible by their 1-0 win at the Butarque. They need this venue to be a fortress again tonight if they are to have any chance of getting through to the semi-finals.
Asier Garitano makes just one change from the second leg of their last-16 tie in Villarreal, as Bustinza replaces Ezequiel Munoz in the centre of defence, partnering Dimitris Siovas.
Zinedine Zidane makes one change as well from the second leg of their last-16 tie, a 2-2 draw with Numancia at the Bernabeu. Raphael Varane is restored in the heart of defnece, at the expense of Nacho, who drops to the bench.
A relatively toothless first half comes to an end in Butarque, with nothing to separate the two sides. Chances have been few and far between, with Mateo Kovacic squandering the game's only clear-cut opportunity thus far.
Real Madrid have a foot into the semi-final as they take a lead back with them to next week's return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, thanks to a glorious late strike from Marco Asensio. That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
