Hello and welcome along to tonight's live coverage of Cologne vs Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga.
Cologne are the underdogs for the contest at the RheinEnergieStadion but Dortmund come into this without former star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international is now at Arsenal and Michy Batshuayi will get the chance to lead the team until the end of the campaign.
Stefan Ruthenbeck's men are rock bottom of the Bundesliga in 18th but they have improved of late. They have won three of their last five matches and come into tonight's game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Augsburg.
Dortmund lie sixth in the table and they are unbeaten in their last five contests, but their last three games have all been draws. Frieburg held them to a 2-2 tie last week and Peter Stoger's troops will be looking to prove they can play without Aubameyang.
Tonight's team news coming up...
Cologne Starting XI (4-4-2): Timo Horn, Frederik Sorensen, Jorge Mere, Dominique Heintz, Jonas Hector (C), Christian Clemens, Marco Hoger, Salih Ozcan, Milos Jojic, Simon Terodde, Sehrou Guirassy.
Cologne SUBS: Claudio Pizarro, Vincent Koziello, Matthias Lehmann, Thomas Kessler, Dominic Maroh, Simon Zoller, Jhon Cordoba.
Borussia Dortmund Starting XI (4-3-3): Roman Burki, Lukasz Piszczek, Sokratis (C), Omer Toprak, Jeremy Toljan, Mahmoud Dahoud, Julian Weigl, Shinji Kagawa, Christian Pulisic, Andre Schurrle, Michy Batshuayi.
Dortmund SUBS: Jadon Sancho, Manuel Akanji, Roman Weidenfeller, Alexander Isak, Gonzalo Castro, Nuri Sahin, Raphael Guerreiro.
Ruthenbeck makes just one change to the team that drew with Augsburg as Guirassy replaces Yuya Osako who is not in the squad tonight.
Dortmund coach Stoger has made four changes as Batshuayi makes his debut just days after signing from Chelsea on loan. Dahoud, Weigl and Schurrle all join him in the first team as Sancho, Castro and Sahin drop out with Aubameyang no longer at the club.
HALF-TIME - Cologne 0-1 Dortmund.
The ref blows for half-time and Cologne will be feeling sorry for themselves in the changing rooms. Ruthenbeck's side had a few chances to open the scoring but it just had to be Batshuayi who grabbed the opener. Dortmund's fans will have to get used to a new approach without Aubameyang but Stoger's team edge it after showing their class in front of goal.
Some of Cologne's subs are warming up at half-time and we could be about to see some substitutions in the next few minutes.
FULL-TIME Cologne 2-3 Dortmund.
That was a thoroughly entertaining game at the RheinEnergieStadion but Cologne remain bottom of the table after yet another defeat. They showed so much heart and passion but errors at the back proved to be their downfall.
Dortmund will need to improve in defence if they are to qualify for the Champions League but Batshuayi's brace on his debut will please Stoger. They found a way to win and did it without talisman Aubameyang and the future could be bright for their new frontman.
