There will be just two minutes of added time as Chelsea continue to probe.
90'
Hazard wants a hat-trick. He threads a pass wide to Willian and makes his run to the near post, but the return ball is pulled back to the edge of the six-yard box where a West Brom defender is waiting.
88'
The first corner is blocked by Krychowiak and sent behind for another. Rudiger crosses, Hegazi heads away. The champions are cruising.
87'
West Brom keep pushing and Krychowiak seeks out Rodriguez in behind. Azpilicueta steps in and Chelsea attack. Fabregas wins a corner.
84'
The referee calls Morata over for a word as he repeatedly clashes with Dawson. The West Brom man is not rising to it.
82'
Another break, this time through Rudiger, but Hazard miscontrols. That's unlike the forward, who is on a hat-trick and has now scored more Premier League goals against West Brom (7) than against any other opponent.
81'
WIDE! Willian is immediately involved, leading a counter, but Moses drags wide after joining the attack on the right.
80'
C. Yacob enters the game and replaces G. Barry.
Willian enters the game and replaces Pedro.
SUB! West Brom make their last switch, too. Yacob replaces Barry.
SUB! Pedro makes way as part of Chelsea's third substitution, with Willian coming on.
79'
Cahill cannot turn the corner on target at the back post, but Chelsea shut down West Brom's opportunity to break, slowing the game again.
Minute
Description
78'
SAVE! Morata has a go and Foster parries well! Driving in from the left, the forward's thumping effort is turned behind for a corner.
77'
Chelsea are three up, but they have not looked comfortable at the back throughout. Courtois takes a cross off the head of one of his own defenders, clattering his team-mate in the process. A quick throw out sets up a counter, though...
76'
Once again, Azpilicueta is there for Chelsea! Phillips delivers a wonderful cross from the right, but the defender is in ahead of Rondon to scoop the ball over his own crossbar. Chelsea clear the corner.
74'
G. Cahill enters the game and replaces A. Christensen.
SUB! Christensen is withdrawn, having only just returned from injury, and Chelsea captain Cahill is on.
72'
West Brom look for an instant response, but Rodriguez's teasing cross from the left drifts beyond his team-mates in the centre. The game looks to be gone for the visitors.
71'
E. Hazard has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by Álvaro Morata.
GOAL! Hazard gets his second! It's another cracker, but Foster's positioning is poor once again. The Chelsea forward starts to drift inside from the right and then slams a left-footed finish into the near bottom-right corner. Foster is nowhere near. 3-0.
Morata provides the assist with a neat lay-off to Hazard, but it is all about the brilliance of the Belgian - and the goalkeeper's flat feed - from thereon in.
69'
SAVE! A good recovery from Foster keeps out Moses as he appears to be wrongfooted! The Chelsea man cuts in from the right again and, with players moving across the line of the shot, Foster is unsighted as he sticks out a leg to make the save.
68'
Chelsea continue to look a little shaky at the back. Courtois just about clears under pressure from Rodriguez. There is space for Chelsea to exploit at the other end, though...
66'
West Brom's fans have fallen silent in their corner of the stadium, but the players continue to push for a route back into the match. Phillips wins a corner. Chelsea clear.
63'
V. Moses has scored a goal for Chelsea!
GOAL! Chelsea double their lead through Moses! It's a scarcely deserved second after another poor corner, but Moses rebuilds on the right and Fabregas' flick deflects back into his path. The finish is under Foster before he can react. 2-0.
62'
BLOCK! Morata is immediately involved and Evans gets in front of his shot to concede the corner. The strike comes after Hazard fizzes a wonderful pass into Pedro, who kills the ball with his first touch.
61'
Álvaro Morata enters the game and replaces O. Giroud.
SUB! Giroud makes way - he took a couple of first-half knocks - and Morata is cheered into the fray.
60'
Now, as early in the first half, it's all West Brom. Giroud has failed to hold the ball up effectively, drawing a few jeers, and Pardew's men are well on top. They still trail, though.
58'
CHANCE! Evans almost scores from the corner! Meeting the right-wing delivery, the West Brom captain nods just past the top-right corner. This is better from the visitors.
57'
SAVE! Another opening for West Brom and they should be level! Rondon wrestles Christensen off the ball to run clear and his low strike is just diverted off target by Courtois. So, so close.
56'
Phillips' cross from the right deflects through to Courtois. Giroud then cannot control on the edge of the box at the other end. It's all a little scrappy.
55'
West Brom are leaving gaps at the back. Chelsea's latest break should be devastating, but Giroud's pass to Pedro is a poor one and the visitors recover.
54'
Moses does so well to bring down Hazard's crossfield switch, but the wing-back then opts to shoot from a tight angle on the right and thrashes a finish high and wide.
52'
Superb defending from Azpilicueta! Burke gets to the byline and drills a low centre in towards a pair of team-mates, with Courtois rooted to his line. Azpilicueta gets there first, though, and stretches to turn the ball away. Outstanding.
50'
A slip in the West Brom defence sets Pedro free and he's found by Giroud on the right. Moses overlaps, but the Nigerian's cross gets no further than the first defender as Giroud ducks.
49'
K. Gibbs gets yellow.
YELLOW! Gibbs is the latest West Brom player to see a card, clattering Moses on the touchline.
An angled free-kick picks out Christensen, but he directs a header well wide. West Brom can regroup.
48'
Chelsea are chasing a second at the start of this second half. Giroud's cute flick to Hazard is just about cut out and the Blues look for another route through the West Brom back line.
46'
O. Burke enters the game and replaces C. Brunt.
SUB! An attacking change for West Brom at the break: Burke replaces Brunt.
KICK-OFF: West Brom get us back up and running at Stamford Bridge.
45' +5
HALF-TIME: Chelsea 1 West Brom 0
45' +3
J. Evans gets yellow.
YELLOW! Evans twice challenges Giroud from behind and goes into the book for the second, more rugged tackle. Giroud requires treatment again.
45' +2
West Brom's first effort for around quarter of an hour comes from Rondon, but he thrashes a 25-yard strike high and wide. Courtois is untroubled.
45' +1
There will be a minimum of three minutes of added time at the end of this first half.
45'
CHANCE! It's another opportunity for Giroud that relies entirely on the brilliance of Hazard and Pedro. The Belgian skips away from Krychowiak's wild challenge and sets his team-mate away on the right, Pedro beating two men before crossing for Giroud. His header is some way wide.
44'
West Brom's momentum has slowed considerably in recent minutes. Chelsea are working hard to match the visitors' energy and keep the ball in the final third.
42'
SAVE! This is a comfortable stop for Foster. Zappacosta dips inside from the left and sends a tame effort into the goalkeeper's arms.
41'
Some lovely skill from Hazard in the middle of the pitch keeps Chelsea moving as the attack wanes. West Brom are dealing with crosses from wide areas, but they have not got to grips with the Blues' number 10.
40'
West Brom quickly force the ball back up that right flank for Phillips to cross. Christensen initially clears and, after a throw-in, Fabregas does too. Chelsea can attack.
39'
Giroud requires a bandage, but it appears he will be able to continue as Morata remains on the bench. The Frenchman is applauded off the pitch following treatment.
37'
Azpilicueta crosses again from the right, but Giroud cannot reach the ball. The forward goes down in a tussle with Dawson and Hegazi, seemingly taking a boot to the head from the latter. He requires attention.
35'
CHANCE! Giroud loves a spectacular goal and goes close with an overhead kick! The corner is nodded back towards the Frenchman, who makes contact with an acrobatic effort but can only direct the ball wide.
34'
Zappacosta does superbly to win a corner. Azpilicueta charges forward and his lofted cross reaches the back post, allowing the Italian to kick the ball off Phillips and behind.
33'
West Brom are packing the midfield, but Hazard continues to get free. His close control is simply too good for the opposition as he sets Chelsea on their way again. The ball quickly comes back when Zappacosta slows the attack, though.
31'
Chelsea continue to struggle to clear their lines, but West Brom have not really taken advantage of that. When a ball breaks Krychowiak's way, he lashes a long way wide.
30'
Phillips is still working hard on the right flank for West Brom. He runs at Zappacosta and wins yet another corner, the visitors' fourth.
Brunt's corner is really poor and hacked clear at the near post. West Brom still have the ball on the right, though.
28'
Krychowiak is fouled and Brunt can curl in a free-kick from the right. Dawson is offside when he meets the delivery and Courtois' sharp reactions make sure.
27'
That goal has rocked West Brom after such a fine start, but they are looking to keep the ball again from the restart.
25'
E. Hazard has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by O. Giroud.
GOAL! That's more like it! Hazard scores. The Belgian is so strong to hold off challenges on the edge of the area, then chases after his own pass into the area. The ball arrives on Hazard's toe and he strikes true into the bottom-left. Superb. 1-0.
Giroud is the man who helps the ball back into Hazard's path with a delicate touch, making up for his hideous earlier miss. Can Chelsea settle now?
24'
A poor Hazard effort is easily blocked by Hegazi. That sums up the hosts' early efforts.
23'
West Brom allow Azpilicueta to charge up the centre of the pitch and, when he is finally stopped, Pedro then retrieves the ball and wriggles free, winning a free-kick in a very dangerous position on the edge of the box...
21'
The ball bounces around the West Brom area and now the crowd are lifted. Hegazi eventually hacks clear, but Chelsea keep the pressure on.
A cross finally comes in from the left and finds Giroud but, with his back to goal and some distance out, he can only direct a meek header well wide.
20'
Zappacosta's cross is blocked, but Giroud keeps the play alive. Pedro's inswinger is cleared, though, and Chelsea switch flanks. Gibbs blocks Moses off and it's a corner.
SAVE! What a miss from Giroud! Chelsea go short, the ball reaches Giroud unmarked and he sidefoots at goal. It's far too close to Foster and West Brom breathe again.
19'
Chelsea deal with the initial delivery again and, once more, a foul lets them off the hook. What a poor start this has been from the champions, despite that Zappacosta chance.
18'
SAVE! What a stop from Foster to deny Zappacosta! Giroud troubles the West Brom defence enough to let a ball from the right pass through the area, reaching Zappacosta whose shot is blocked. West Brom are quickly back on the attack and win a corner.
16'
A foul from Brunt on Fabregas relieves a little of the pressure on Chelsea. After two three-goal defeats, this has been a woeful opening quarter of an hour from Conte's men. The manager should be worried.
15'
Pedro's pass is cut out as Hazard sets off beyond the West Brom defence. The visitors have the ball again and they are enjoying their possession.
13'
Rondon is making runs off the back of the Chelsea defenders time and time again. Team-mates Krychowiak, Barry and Phillips are taking turns to lift passes in towards the forward, but Chelsea are just about holding firm. This has been a lively start.
11'
Giroud makes a run in behind the West Brom defence, but Dawson and Hegazi just about scramble the ball clear. Corner.
CHANCE! This is a huge, huge chance for Rodriguez! Again a set-piece leads to a counter-attack, with Chelsea's short corner quickly cleared. Moses' poor header lets Rodriguez in and he has a clear sight of goal, unmarked inside the area, but drags a finish wide.
10'
There's frustration in the home ranks as referee Lee Mason gets in the way of Pedro's run and then does not allow an advantage when the Spaniard is fould. Chelsea move down the right.
8'
BLOCK! Courtois punches clear, but West Brom lose the ball from the throw-in and Chelsea counter. Giroud works space on the left side of the area and shoots low against Hegazi.
There's plenty going on early on in this one. Zappacosta goes down on the right under an awful Dawson challenge, but no free-kick is forthcoming. Chelsea build again.
7'
More good work from Phillips wins a corner on the right...
6'
CLOSE! Rondon heads wide! Phillips drills a cross in from the right and the forward directs an effort off target. Stamford Bridge has fallen very quiet.
5'
West Brom are quickly back on the ball. Sturridge's injury is a heavy blow, but they are responding well.
4'
J. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces D. Sturridge.
SUB! Rodriguez replaces the Liverpool loanee, who goes off holding his hamstring.
CHANCE! An immediate opportunity for Rodriguez! A loose ball falls his way in the box and, under pressure from Fabregas, he screws a shot wide. The forward wants a penalty. Goal-kick given.
3'
Chelsea clear through Christensen and then Kante. It looks as though Sturridge might have a problem for the visitors.
Evans keeps West Brom's attack alive and wins a free-kick, but Sturridge is going to have to come off. His rotten luck with injuries continues.
2'
And the Baggies use the ball well. Sturridge slips a pass inside to Gibbs, whose cross is blocked behind for a corner...
1'
KICK-OFF: Giroud and Chelsea get us under way.
Chelsea keep the ball well from the off, before a loose Kante touch allows West Brom to enjoy some possession for the first time.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary as Chelsea face West Brom in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge!
Antonio Conte's men head into this clash outside of the top four after a pair of humbling defeats to Bournemouth and Watford in their last two matches, although victory here would see the champions leapfrog rivals Tottenham.
West Brom's need for a result is perhaps even greater still. The Baggies are bottom of the table and seven points shy of safety. Time is running out.
So, ahead of a huge game for both sides, let's get the team news...
West Brom (4-4-2): Ben Foster, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi, Jonny Evans, Kieran Gibbs, Matty Phillips, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Gareth Barry, Chris Brunt, Salomon Rondon, Daniel Sturridge.
Subs: Willy Caballero, Gary Cahill, Emerson, Ethan Ampadu, Danny Drinkwater, Willian, Alvaro Morata.
Chelsea (3-4-3): Thibaut Courtois, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Victor Moses, N'Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas, Davide Zappacosta, Pedro, Olivier Giroud, Eden Hazard.
Subs: Boaz Myhill, Allan Nyom, Gareth McAuley, Claudio Yacob, James McClean, Oliver Burke, Jay Rodriguez.
Conte makes four changes to the side beaten at Watford, handing a full debut to Giroud. Christensen, Rudiger and Fabregas are also in. Tiemoue Bakayoko is banned, while Marcos Alonso misses out through injury.
West Brom boss Alan Pardew has also mixed things up, bringing Evans, Gibbs and Krychowiak back into the team. Sturridge starts against his former club.
Giroud becomes the first player in Premier League history to start a game for both Chelsea and Arsenal in the same season, and he has been speaking to the Blues' official website: "It's exciting when you sign for a new side and I'm looking forward to playing [today]. We've worked a lot in training and I feel ready."
Although Giroud may now be getting his chance from the start due to Morata's indifferent form and lack of fitness, West Brom could not handle the Spaniard in the reverse fixture. He scored the first and created the second in a 4-0 Chelsea win at the Hawthorns back in November.
That triumph was the latest in a series of three wins and three clean sheets for Conte against West Brom since arriving at Stamford Bridge. He will be desperate for a similar outcome in this one...
The teams are in the tunnel. We are just under five minutes away from kick-off in London.
Given the opening 20 minutes of this game, Chelsea will be very relieved to get back to the dressing room with a 1-0 lead. They were all over the place and Rodriguez - an early substitute for the injured Sturridge - really should have scored.
We will bring you all the second half action shortly...
A moment of quality from Hazard broke the deadlock, though, and West Brom have struggled a little since then. Pardew's men are still in the game, but the manager spoke at length before kick-off about the importance of having a player like Sturridge in the final third. The Baggies have suffered in his absence.
Chelsea cruise to victory, but they were tested throughout by West Brom. The visitors could have led before Hazard's opener and should then have pegged back the champions, too. Moses added a second, though, and Hazard capped an ultimately comfortable home win.
That's all from this one. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
