VITAL SAVE! A short corner is worked across for Draxler on the edge of the penalty area and he unloads a venomous effort at goal, but Alisson reacts swiftly to tip it over the bar!
90'
There will be a minimum of three minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
Back and forth these sides go as things open up a bit with Germany throwing everything forward. Brazil aren't hesitating to send their attackers forward on the break, either, which has made for some very entertaining viewing.
85'
Deflected wide! Brandt does well to cut inside and open up space for a shot, but his effort is blocked behind for a corner. The ensuing delivery is flicked on for Werner, who is unmarked at the far post, but he can't jump high enough to get his head to it!
83'
Every one of Germany's attacking options has been brought off the bench as they search for the equaliser, but it's Brazil who are on the front foot here, winning a free-kick and now keeping possession inside the attacking half.
81'
T. Werner enters the game and replaces İ. Gündoğan.
A fifth change for the hosts sees Timo Werner replace Gundogan. Germany are going for it now.
79'
Excellent from Sule! That's rare pace for a centre-back to possess. He sprints stride for stride with Douglas Costa down the left flank to cut the attacker off, snuffing out a threatening counter and forcing them to settle for a corner.
77'
Germany need to come up with an answer to the wall constructed by this Brazil defence. The visitors are starting to drop a bit deep to defend this lead, but the hosts continue to struggle to find an opening.
73'
Douglas Costa enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
Brazil make their first change of the night as they inject some fresh legs in attack in the form of Douglas Costa, who replaces Coutinho.
Minute
Description
72'
Sandro Wagner gets his first sight of goal, though it's nothing more than a half-chance. He hangs in the air seemingly forever to meet a cross from the left, but under all sorts of pressure he knocks his effort miles wide of the near post.
70'
Dangerous cross! That's much better from Germany, as Kimmich forces a low delivery into the area, which takes a couple of deflections and sits there for a moment begging to be hit, but Brazil manage to clear!
68'
N. Süle enters the game and replaces J. Boateng.
HUGE CHANCE! Great tracking from Kimmich and a very important header as he clears the ball behind to deny Coutinho from getting on the end of an inviting cross. The ensuing corner comes go Jesus at the far post, and the goal is gaping with Trapp whiffing at a clearance, but he heads wide!
Boateng seems to have recovered from his injury, so this likely isn't a forced change as he's replaced by Niklas Sule.
66'
The new faces have sparked Germany a bit in attack, but they're still not picking out the final ball they crave. Full credit to Brazil, who have been nothing short of excellent in defence, with everyone pulling their weight.
62'
S. Wagner enters the game and replaces M. Gómez.
Mario Gomez's night is over. He deserved a bit better given his work rate up top, but departs without a goal as he's replaced by Sandro Wagner.
61'
J. Brandt enters the game and replaces L. Goretzka.
L. Stindl enters the game and replaces L. Sané.
Germany make the first change of the night as Lars Stindl replaces Leroy Sane.
Julian Brandt also enters the fray, at the expense of Leon Goretzka.
60'
Brazil are very much on top here as they get forward threateningly with every spell in possession. They're really taking the game to Germany, who have created absolutely nothing in this second half and are very much in danger of falling 2-0 down here if they aren't careful.
58'
LIFTED OVER! Coutinho gets in his favourite position just outside the penalty area, on the end of a clever pull-back, and has a clear sight at goal from 20 yards, but lifts his effort over the bar! He will want a second chance at that one...
56'
VITAL BLOCK! A lovely dummy from Jesus sees the ball run through to Willian, but his effort is blocked brilliantly by Rudiger. The rebound comes to Paulinho, but Trapp makes an excellent save to parry!
52'
Boateng remained down following the incident and was attended to by the training staff, which prompts a couple of substitutes to begin warming up. Play resumes with Boateng off the pitch - we'll see if Germany risk it and let him continue, though it hardly seems worth it.
50'
As is the case when you commit bodies forward, you leave yourself exposed at the back. That's the case here for Germany as Brazil catch them short numbers at the back, breaking with pace on the counter, but a Jesus foul on Boateng sees the chance come to an end.
48'
Germany enjoying some nice possession here and showing intent as they get the ball forward and camp out on the fringes of the final third. Plattenhardt and Kimmich are providing excellent support for the likes of Sane and Goretzka.
46'
The second half is underway!
45'
HALF-TIME: GERMANY 0-1 BRAZIL.
43'
The tempo is fizzling out again as we approach the break, with Brazil doing an excellent job in midfield. The duo of Fernandinho and Casemiro has been excellent, as has Paulinho, in forcing Germany to build down the flanks, offering minimal space in the middle third.
41'
All hands on deck for Germany as they get forward straight away here looking for an equaliser before the break. They really don't deserve to be behind, but all that matters is the scoreline, leaving them with work to do here. That's certainly a confidence boost for Brazil, as well.
37'
Gabriel Jesus has scored a goal for Brazil! Assist by Willian.
It was Willian who picked out Jesus with the cross, as he's credited with the assist.
BRAZIL BREAK THE DEADLOCK! Well that's got to feel great for them! It's come against the run of play, but it won't matter to them in the slightest! Jesus gets on the end of a cross and heads straight at Trapp, but the keeper makes a meal of it and fails to keep it out!
36'
BLASTED OVER! Finally an opening for Brazil, and that really should have been the breakthrough. Jesus bursts forward on the counter and cuts back, leaving two defenders in his dust, but lifts his shot over the bar with all the time in the world!
35'
BIG CHANCE! Plattenhardt makes noise down the flank this time and whips in a terrific delivery, but Goretzka heads wide at the far post! Germany are very much in the ascendency here, pushing for the opener before the break.
33'
Brazil really need to figure things out going forward. They have to do a better job in transition, and finding ways to isolate their playmakers in prosperous situations. Right now they're being outnumbered and outworked in attack.
31'
OFFSIDE! Gomez has certainly been the focal point for Germany here! Everything they do in attack is with the intention of getting him the ball. Another delivery is sent in for him here and looks threatening, but the offside flag brings the chance to an end.
29'
Not enough can be said about the work rate of Gomez in this first half. He sprints with determination to get on the end of another Goretzka cross at the near post, forcing Alisson into a save, before knocking the rebound into the side netting!
25'
Lovely bit of skill from Coutinho! The Barcelona man shows some nice trickery to dribble his way through on the left before picking out Jesus. The striker tries to complete a give-and-go, but gets his return pass all wrong as the chance comes to nothing.
23'
This hasn't been the typically free-flowing Brazil side we have become used to seeing under Tite. They're more content playing off the ball than usual, and aren't in any sort of rush to push forward when they win it back.
21'
Inviting delivery! Goretzka makes strides down the right and Gomez, who has been full of energy thus far, bust a gut to make himself available for a cross. Goretzka picks him out at the near post, but the angle proves too difficult for the striker, who heads wide.
19'
Germany have found a couple of cracks in the Brazil defence so far, but they've been small ones at best. A couple of smart interventions from Alisson and an offside have prevented the hosts from really carving out a chance.
15'
Despite their lack of any real attacking threat, this has already been a much better start to the match for Brazil than that which they made in the 2014 semi-final. And with the quality they boast in attack, it should only be a matter of time before they start clicking.
13'
The ball is being contained largely in midfield in what's shaping up to be a tactical battle in Berlin. These are two very well-coached sides and that take a lot of work and patience to break down.
11'
A bit of fight being shown here from Brazil as they push back and mount a bit of an attack of their own. They're finding no joy up against the Germany defence, though, who remain typically stout and organised.
9'
NEARLY THE OPENER! Kroos whips in a delicious free-kick from the right which Boateng flicks on for Gomez, but the striker arrives to meet it at the same time as Alisson, who manages to make the save and hold on despite the contact!
5'
Germany enjoy a decent spell on the ball and finally show some intent to get the ball forward as Plattenhardt sends a long, searching ball over the top, but Alisson is wise to it and able to collect ahead of Gomez's arrival.
3'
These sides are simply feeling each other out at the start here, exchanging possession while in no rush to advance the ball into attack. It's a bit of a subdued atmosphere as well, surprisingly, on a nice night in Berlin.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Germany in green as they get the match underway, with Brazil in yellow and blue.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this friendly as Germany welcome Brazil to the Olympiastadion in Berlin!
Neither of these sides will soon forget their last meeting – Joachim Low and Germany going into Belo Horizonte and embarrassing Brazil in front of their home fans 7-1 in the 2014 World Cup semi-final.
Brazil have since had plenty of time to lick their wounds and are looking a much stronger side ahead of 2018 as they seek redemption, while Germany have not wavered since that match, winning the 2014 final and looking more than capable of a repeat.
It’s being dubbed a friendly, but this is far more than a tune-up for these two sides. Brazil will be relishing the chance for redemption as they look to put the past behind them, while Germany are out to prove they’re still the world’s best.
Neither of these nations have lost a competitive match since summer 2016, and while this clash doesn’t quite fall under the category of a competitive match, it sure will be contested as one – neither will want their momentum halted this close to the start of the World Cup.
Joachim Low makes seven changes to his side from Friday's draw with Spain. Kevin Trapp starts in goal while Antonio Rudiger and Marvin Plattenhardt are brought into defence. Ilkay Gundogan gets the nod in midfield, while Leon Goretzka and Leroy Sane come in to flank Mario Gomez, who leads the line tonight ahead of Timo Werner.
Tite is doing far less experimenting as he's come to Germany to win tonight, making just one change from the win in Russia on Friday. Philippe Coutinho pushes up to play on the wing, with Fernandinho taking his place in midfield. Douglas Costa drops to the bench to accommodate the change.
Brazil were second best for much of the opening 35 minutes, but they lead at the break thanks to Gabriel Jesus, his header the lone goal in a tightly contested first half in Berlin. It's far from the 7-1 drubbing Germany handed Brazil in 2014, as Tite's side are en route to getting their revenge.
Germany's 23 match unbeaten run comes to an abrupt end as they lose for the first time since July 2016, with Gabriel Jesus' goal providing Brazil sweet revenge for the 7-1 drubbing in the 2014 World Cup semi-final.
It was a complete showing from Brazil, who looked more than primed to make a real run at World Cup glory this summer. The loss won't mean a whole lot for Germany, who were without a few of their first-team regulars, but their title defence will certainly be put to the test come June.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
