However, Olivier Giroud lead a resurgence in the second half, with the Frenchman scoring a brace along with a strike from Eden Hazard to stage a comeback win. Antonio Conte faces an important week as he will be keen to take their momentum into their FA Cup semi-final clash against the Saints on Sunday.
Burnley are on an incredible run of form in the Premier League, winning their last five matches. If the Clarets can make it six victories on the bounce, they will leapfrog above Arsenal into sixth place in the table. Sean Dyche continues to perform remarkably at the Lancashire club, who are looking to do the double over the Blues this evening.

The tone for the season was set when Cahill was dismissed in the 14th minute before the Clarets scored three goals in the first half as Vokes notched a brace, while Ward also got on the scoresheet. At the other end Burnley have been tepid to say the least and Sean Dyche will be demanding an improvement in the second half.
FULL-TIME: BURNLEY 1-2 CHELSEA
Chelsea secure their second win on the bounce in the Premier League as an own goal from Kevin Long and a strike from Victor Moses have handed them the three points.
