There isn't much time left on the clock now for either side to grab a winning goal, Stoke certainly need the points more desperately than Burnley, but it's hard to see them scoring at the moment. GOOOAAALLL! STOKE LEAD! A crucial goal in their bid to remain in the Premier League as Ndiaye scores his first for Stoke. Diouf received the ball just inside the penalty area, he couldn't turn and instead laid the ball off to his team-mate, who curled the ball into the bottom corner of the net. The strike took a slight deflection off a defender as it headed towards goal, which took it just out of the grasp from Pope in the Burnley goal.

Bright start so far by Stoke, they need to get off to a good start to boost the atmosphere and their hopes of taking away all three points today. They were unlucky not to win against West Ham in midweek, conceding a late Andy Carroll goal to share the points at the London Stadium after Peter Crouch gave them the lead midway through the second half.
