Huddersfield are resorting to long balls up towards their strikers now, which is easy for the Everton centre-backs to deal with. There are just a couple of minutes remaining on the clock here and it looks like Everton will be taking away all three points.
90'
There will be a minimum of four minutes of added time played.
88'
Just a few minutes remaining here at the John Smith's Stadium, can Huddersfield pull a goal back and make it an interesting finale?
83'
The other results aren't going Huddersfield's way either this afternoon. Defeat will leave them in 16th position, just three points ahead of Southampton who are winning at home and they also have a game in hand over the other teams. It could be a very nervous end to the season for the Terriers.
80'
That Everton goal looks to have wrapped up the victory for the visitors now. The Huddersfield players look short of confidence and ideas now, making it hard to see them getting back into the game from two goals down.
77'
I. Gueye has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by L. Baines.
There isn't much time left on the clock for Huddersfield to snatch a goal here, they've been pressing for much of the game but the quality in the attacking third has been missing today. As it stands they will be just three points ahead of the relegation zone, as Southampton are winning at home to Bournemouth.
Baines was given far too much time and space down the left, he then had the simple task of playing the ball to Gueye who was in a much better position and the midfielder made no mistakes with the finish.
GOOOAAALLL! EVERTON DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! The Toffees finally have another goal after several missed opportunities in the second half. It comes from another counter-attack, with Baines finding space deep down the left, he then pulls the ball back to Gueye on the edge of the area who powers his the ball into the bottom corner, Lossl had no chance.

O. Niasse enters the game and replaces C. Tosun.
Everton make another change, the goalscorer Cenk Tosun is the man coming off and it is a straight swap up front for the Toffees, with Oumar Niasse taking his place.
71'
Huddersfield dominating possession and looking the better side at the moment, but they need to wary of the counter-attack as Everton are trying to force a quick break away every time they get on the ball. It worked perfectly in the first half and Tosun's strike is still what separates the two sides.

Description

HUDDERSFIELD CHANCE! Van La Parra gets free to the right-hand byline, he pulls the ball back to Pritchard on the edge of the six-yard box, but he appears to slip just before taking the shot and he completely mishits his effort. Let off for Everton.
65'
Huddersfield are playing well here, the crowd are really getting behind them as well and it is spurring them to go forward. However, Everton are getting plenty of players back behind the ball and defending well so far, with the Terriers not carving out too many opportunities.
63'
T. Davies enters the game and replaces W. Rooney.
Everton now make their first substitution of the afternoon, with Wayne Rooney the man coming off, he is replaced by Tom Davies.
62'
S. Malone enters the game and replaces J. Hogg.
Another Terriers change here, with Jonathan Hogg replaced by Scott Malone.
59'
P. Billing enters the game and replaces C. Quaner.
Huddersfield make their first substitution of the game, with Collin Quaner heading off the pitch and he has been replaced by Philip Billing.
57'
ANOTHER CHANCE! Everton are really pressing for a second goal now and they've missed another opportunity to double their lead. Coleman once again with the chance, this time more difficult then his previous effort. The right-back played a quick one-two with Vlasic inside the box, he then just had Lossl to beat, but the keeper made himself big and difficult to beat, so Coleman could only fire it straight at him. Huddersfield hanging on at the moment.
55'
Brief stoppage in play here as Tosun is down with a head injury, but he looks fine to continue.
53'
HUGE CHANCE! How did he miss?! Seamus Coleman with an absolute sitter to make it 2-0 to Everton! The Toffees had a free-kick around 35 yards out from goal, it was whipped into the box and three Everton players are completely unmarked in the box, it falls perfectly to Coleman at the far post, but he fires his effort straight at Lossl.
50'
J. Hogg gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is shown to Huddersfield's skipper Jonathan Hogg, for a shirt pull on Walcott.
47'
EVERTON CHANCE! The visitors should've doubled their lead! The Toffees immediately won the ball off Huddersfield from the restart and broke up the pitch. Walcott ran clear down the left, the ball then falls to Gueye just outside the box, who fires a low drive at goal, but it is straight at Lossl. Either side of the goalkeeper and that would've made it 2-0.
46'
The second half is underway!
45' +1
That's the half-time whistle!
45'
There will be a minimum of one minute added time played here.
42'
Not the finish to the half that Huddersfield will have hoped for, just a few minutes ago they looked like taking the lead themselves after dominating possession for long spells of the game, coming undone by a quick and decisive counter-attack.
39'
C. Tosun has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by T. Walcott.
Walcott was the architect behind this goal, his superb individual run forced the Terriers to backtrack, he then unselfishly lays it off to Tosun who finishes off a brilliant Everton counter-attack.
GOOOAAALLL EVERTON LEAD! Cenk Tosun opens the scoring for the Toffees against the run of play, as Huddersfield were dominating the game. It came from a superb counter-attack, a brilliant solo run by Walcott really stretches the Terriers defenders, before he then releases Tosun. The striker then places the ball into the bottom corner with a accurate and composed finish.
38'
It's all Huddersfield right now, they are really pressing for a goal before the break, which would be massive and could prove vital if they go on to secure a victory. The Terriers are dominating, but aren't really troubling Pickford, with much of the ball outside the penalty area.
34'
The Terriers are certainly the team on top right now, they are forcing Everton to defend deep inside their own half and the Toffees are struggling to get a touch on the ball at the moment. A goal before half-time would be perfect for David Wagner's side!
31'
CLOSE! The best chance of the game so far falls to Huddersfield. Pritchard swung a low cross into the box from the byline, straight into the path of van La Parra, who took the shot first time, but he powers his effort over the crossbar. Pickford was worried by the one, scrambling across his goal to try and make the save.
30'
PENALTY SHOUT! van La Parra is down inside the Everton penalty area and appealing for a penalty, after going down under the challenge of Vlasic. However, there didn't appear to be too much contact between the two players and the referee waves away his appeals.
28'
Rooney tries an ambitious effort at goal from the right wing! The Everton man didn't have too many other options so when the ball came to him, he struck it straight away on the volley, firing the ball just wide of the Huddersfield post. However, Lossl didn't look worried and appeared to have it covered, if it was on target.
27'
Huddersfield will surely be more pleased with how the game is going so far, midway through the first half and it remains goalless, with chances being few and fair between for both teams.
22'
The ball is switching between the two sides at the moment, with neither team able to dominate possession and really control the game so it is currently end-to-end. There is far too many sloppy passes going on out there, with players struggling to keep the ball and pick the right pass.
20'
Everton come into this clash in good form, with the visitors having lost only one of their last six league games, and that defeat against the champions Manchester City. The Toffees beat Newcastle 1-0 at Goodison Park on Monday evening to move up to eighth in the table.
17'
We have our first attempt at goal! Mounie cuts inside from the left-wing and fires a low effort at goal, which takes a big deflection off an Everton defender and this takes much of the pace out of the shot, allowing Pickford to read it all the way and make a comfortable save.
15'
Neither side have looked like scoring just yet, with no shots at goal for either goalkeeper to worry about, as much of the ball is playing played in the middle of the pitch and away from the danger zones. It's a pretty even game so far.
12'
The atmosphere is electric here inside the John Smith's stadium, with the Huddersfield supporters really getting behind their side, as you would expect considering the Terriers should secure survival with a victory this afternoon.
8'
The home side are just lacking the final ball at the moment, as they are getting into good positions inside the Everton half but then make the wrong decisions, which allows the Toffees to step in and clear the danger.
6'
The Terriers are pushing the visitors deep into their own half and not allowing the Toffees any time or space when they do win possession back. Excellent start by the home side and their supporters are well and truly getting behind them.
4'
Huddersfield have now settled into their passing game, playing the ball nicely around the pitch, with Mooy constantly on the ball and directing players in front of him. However, much of the ball is in the middle of the pitch and the visitors are keeping them well away from their defensive third at the moment.
2'
Everton have started the game well here, they forced an early corner almost immediately from kick-off, but the set piece was poor and nothing came of it.
1'

Huddersfield can all but secure their Premier League survival if they can beat Everton at the John Smith Stadium this afternoon. The Terriers currently sit 16th in the table, but they have a five-point advantage over Stoke City, who occupy the remaining relegation place. The Potters have just drawn 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield to cut the gap from six points, to five.
The Terriers were widely tipped to go down at the start of the season following their promotion from the Championship via the play-offs, but with three games of the season remaining, they have performed superbly and got themselves into a terrific position to stay up and secure another season in the Premier League.
The teams are out here at the John Smith's Stadium and kick-off is just minutes away! Stay tuned for all of the match action.
Since becoming the Toffees boss, Sam Allardyce has steered the club to eighth in the table, one position below where they finished last season. However, many Everton supporters are unhappy with the style of football their side are playing at the moment, but Allardyce has made it clear this week that he will be at Goodison Park next season.
HALF-TIME: HUDDERSFIELD 0-1 EVERTON
Everton lead 1-0 at the break after a Cenk Tosun goal, which came completely against run off play with Huddersfield dominating at the other end for the majority of the first half. However, the Toffees broke quickly on the break through Walcott and Tosun put the visitors ahead here. Plenty of optimism for the Terriers though, they have played well, but just need to improve in the final third if they are to get back into the game.
FULL-TIME: HUDDERSFIELD 0-2 EVERTON
That's all from us today folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
Everton secure a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Cenk Tosun and Idrissa Gueye, both of which came after quick and incisive counter-attacks by the visitors. Huddersfield dominated much of the game, but they lacked quality in the final third and struggled to test Pickford in the Everton goal. This result means that the Terriers are well and truly in a relegation battle, as they are now just three points above the relegation zone, with three tough games remaining as they face Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Everton, meanwhile, remain in eighth position, six points behind Burnley.
