Uribe is the latest man to get booked as he puts a cynical foul on Dybala to halt a potential break.
88'

A booking for Ospina now after he races to the edge of his box to meet Simeone, only to clatter him late. Both players go down but it is only teh Colombia keeper who is booked with Argentina handed the free-kick.
85'
M. Acuña enters the game and replaces M. Icardi.
G. Simeone enters the game and replaces N. Tagliafico.
Tagliafico and Icardi head off now with Marcos Acuna and Giovanni Simeone taking their place. Five minutes on the clock.
83'
Villa pops up, to his own apparent surprise, with the ball at his feet inside the Argentina box and he duly smacks it well over the crossbar.
82'
L. Paredes gets yellow.
Paredes bring down Sanchez with a hard-nosed challenge and becomes one of the latest in a long line who is shown the yellow card.
81'
Half a minute later though, Tagliafico cuts open the Colombian defence down the left and slips a wonderful cross in seeking Icardi. It just drifts beyond the striker - but even if he had made a controlled touch, the flag had already been raised for offside.
80'
Dybala steps up to take the free-kick and duly smashes it back off the wall.
79'
S. Villa enters the game and replaces R. Falcao.
...and Falcao bows out in place of Sebastian Villa.

Description
77'
Palacios fouls Pavon and Argentina have a free-kick 25 yards out on the right. They'll wait for some Colombia changes first though...
73'
N. Benedetti enters the game and replaces J. Quintero.
Nicolas Benedetti replaces Quintero for Colombia and makes a near-instant impact, hoofing a lifted shot just wide and over from distance.
71'
Pavon's first contribution is to fould Machado and concede a free-kick in the opposition half.
70'
C. Pavón enters the game and replaces G. Lo Celso.
Lo Celso is no longer required to take the hits again today though; Cristian Pavon comes on to replace him.
69'
J. Cuadrado gets yellow.
The bad challenges continue to fly in as Lo Celso is now sent flying by a lunge from Cuadrado, who is flashed a yellow card for his efforts.
68'
L. Paredes enters the game and replaces M. Meza.
Leandro Paredes is the latest change to be brought on for Argentina; he replaces Meza up front.
67'
Great keeping from Armani, who hares off his line to tap away the ball from under the feet of Bacca after the Colombia man beat the last defender to slip into the Argentina box.
65'
R. Falcao gets yellow.
F. Cervi gets yellow.
A moment later, Cervi is handed a booking too after he cleans out Barrios with a cumbersome piece of play.
There's definitely either a calculated aggression or a lazy sloppiness coming into play now; regardless, Falcao's challenge on Battaglia is uncalled for and earns him a booking.
63'
C. Bacca enters the game and replaces L. Muriel.
Muriel too is benched with just over an hour gone and Carlos Bacca steps into the void for Colombia.
62'
M. Uribe enters the game and replaces G. Cuéllar.
Cuellar is the latest face to take their leave, with Mateus Uribe his replacement.
60'
That scruffiness boils over now as Barrios and Tagliafico butt heads on the touchline following a late challenge by the former. It sparks a small scuffle featuring a number of players; the referee defuses it well however and instead of booking either player, invites them to shake hands instead.
58'
Cuadrado wins a free-kick after Lo Celso brings him down with a sharp challenge. It's all getting a little nip-and-tuck out there right now.
56'
Meza with the header! It just drifts wide to the right again as the Argentina forward lands a tickle on a Tagliafico cross. Save the odd counter, it feels like Lionel Scaloni's side have the edge once more.
54'
P. Dybala enters the game and replaces E. Palacios.
Palacios has played his part for Argentina now - and he makes way for Paulo Dybala.
53'
Murillo concedes a free-kick out near halfway on the right wing, but the distance doesn't stop Battaglia from leathering it into the Colombia box to cause mayhem among the defence. Argentina can't find that winning touch in the end and their opponents survive with some hectic, ad-hoc work from their back-line.
51'
Meza went down in play in the build-up to that Colombia counter but appears to be alright if a little slow. Lo Celso comes down the other end again now and just pushes a shot wide to the right. Both sides can sniff a goal, it seems.
49'
Colombia break with a breathless counter though and Muriel sees a rocket of a shot pushed just wide at close range by Armani.
48'
Cervi brings an injection of pace much needed to his side too from the off, nipping down the left flank and exchanging a speedy one-two with Tagliafico that doesn't quite come off for them in the end.
46'
F. Cervi enters the game and replaces G. Martínez.
Just the one change at the break too, for Argentina; Franco Cervi comes on to replace Martinez.
We're back underway at MetLife Stadium; are we headed for a square draw or can one of these two sides find the advantage?
45' +1
HALF-TIME: COLOMBIA 0-0 ARGENTINA
45'
One added minute incoming.
43'
Barrios fouls Palacios and then Cuellar wins a reverse free-kick following a Lo Celso challenge. Cuadrado goes for goal from distance, but can't find a way past the defensive wall.
40'
Jostling in the box, Battaglia comes together with Sanchez and the former belatedly grasps at his face. Replays show it looks like a poke in the eye - but whether it was an intentional trailing hand or not from the Colombia man is unclear.
36'
A handful of plays later, Lo Celso steers a low-angled shot straight to Ospina who looks like he might have shaken off that knock to his knee.
34'
Murillo concedes a free-kick for a clumsy challenge out wide on Argentina's left flank and Martinez booms it straight into the defensive wall.
32'
Colombia can't force a second chance however, as a booming pass in from Sanchez is cleared by Bustos for a corner and then the defender concedes a free-kick for a foul on Icardi at the set-piece.
31'
G. Pezzella gets yellow.
Ooof! Cuadrado looks to dink around Pezzella on halfway, only for the latter to simply drop the shoulder and send him sprawling. The referee books him immediately and Colombia have the free-kick.
28'
Quintero seeks to convert the set-piece into something worthwhile a moment later but can only bundle the ball out of touch. Still, a sudden surge of intent from Colombia to remind Argentina they still carry a threat.
27'
Following a spell of relative quiet, Colombia burst forward with Falcao, who tickles the gloves of Armani with an effort from distance, tipped around for a corner.
24'
Just over halfway through the first half and Argentina are shading the encounter; they have 51 percent of possession and five shots to Colombia's lone effort.
21'
Cuadrado wins a corner for Colombia after a bruising run and he rolls the set-piece back to play it in from a better angle. It comes to Murillo, who attempts to scissor-kick it, only to botch the play and concede a free-kick in the same move.
19'
Martinez is the latest Argentina man who attempts to trouble Ospina, though his high-powered shot goes straight to the keeper, who drops to his knees to collect before Icardi can sweep in for the follow-up.
17'
Play resumes with the two sides exchanging a series of booming, long passes that span the length of the field.
15'
A wonderful, free-flowing team move takes Argentina make into the Colombia box, where Ospina stops another shot in its tracks after Icardi encroached upon his six-yard area. The keeper is injured in the process however and stays down clutching his knee.
12'
Half a minute later, Lo Celso looks to loft a shot over Ospina from distance, only to steer it comfortably wide. His ambition cannot be faulted though; Argentina have looked the more threatening as the game has opened up.
11'
Lo Celso lays on a short ball for Palacios inside the centre-circle, where the latter is awarded a free-kick after he is duly sent sprawling by Barrios.
9'
Colombia withstand back-to-back corners and then earn themselves a free-kick for a foul on Cuadrado by Lo Celso out on the left wing.
7'
Palacios tries from long-distance, launching a monster half-volley from 25 yards out; Ospina just tips the screamer over his crossbar.
5'
Murillo blocks Icardi's attempted cross from the right of the box and concedes a corner; Argentina are unable to increase pressure however from the set-piece and Colombia come away from their lines unscathed.
3'
A nervy opening from both sides sees Colombia press deeper than their opponents, but with limited chances on the whole.

Following a moment of silence for the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks, we are underway in East Rutherford in this international friendly between Colombia and Argentina!
Despite the promising angle, Argentina fail to make it stick with their shot from the set-piece and Colombia counter down the left wing.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the international friendly between Colombia and Argentina at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA. Both sides arrive on the back of victories to kick off the international break – but who will warm up for the Copa America in winning fashion?
For the two teams meeting at the home of both the New York Giants and New York Jets, this encounter represents two sides meeting in transition following disappointing exits at the World Cup in Russia earlier this year, with both eliminated at the round of 16. Changes have been afoot in both camps – not least the arrival of interim managers – and this friendly represents a good chance for both to figure out their immediate future.
Team news now and Arturo Reyes fields a strong side that includes six of the 11 men who started against England in their last competitive game of the World Cup, where they lost 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw. Radamel Falcao leads from the front as captain; there is no James Rodriguez as he continues to recover from injury.
As for Argentina, caretaker manager Lionel Scaloni has overseen a more dramatic overhaul of the squad from Russia; only goalkeeper Franco Armani and defender Nicolas Tagliafico remain from the starting XI who were eliminated by eventual champions France. Paulo Dybala is named on the bench after missing the start of the international break.
Subs: Luis Diaz, Jorman Campuzano, Yimmi Chara, Mauricio Arboleda, Cristian Borja, Carlos Bacca, William Tesillo, Nicolas Benedetti, Alfredo Morelos, Mateus Uribe, Sebastian Villa, John Lucumí.
COLOMBIA (4-5-1): David Ospina; Davinson Sanchez, Jeison Murillo, Deiver Machado, Helibelton Palacios; Wilmar Barrios, Luis Muriel, Gustavo Cuellar, Juan Cuadrado, Juan Quintero; Radamel Falcao.
Subs: Renzo Saravia, Franco Cervi, Santiago Ascacibar, Angel Correa, Walter Kannemann, Paulo Dybala, Alan Franco, Sergio Romero, Leonel Di Placido, Franco Vazquez, Geronimo Rulli, Giovanni Simeone, Leandro Paredes, Matías Vargas, Cristian Pavon, Marcos Acuna.
ARGENTINA (4-3-3): Franco Armani; Nicolas Tagliafico, Fabricio Bustos, Ramiro Funes Mori, German Pezzella; Giovani Lo Celso, Exequiel Palacios, Rodrigo Battaglia; Mauro Icardi, Maximiliano Meza, Gonzalo Martinez.
The teams are out and we're moments away from kick-off.
The big talking points ahead of this game have of course surrounded the absence of former captain Lionel Messi after the Barcelona star took an indefinite hiatus from international football. His no-show hands a major chance to Mauro Icardi to stake a place at the front of the queue however; in a three-pronged attack today, he could be key to unlocking the Colombia defence.
There's no clear side with their nose in front in a game that has ebbed and flowed without ever really bursting into full-blooded life - so a scoreless draw remains a fair reflection at half-time. Both sides will need to switch it up a bit perhaps to find a way through; at the break, it's Colombia 0-0 Argentina.
If one man earned his crust in that first half, then it was Colombia's David Ospina; the goalkeeper turned in some excellent early saves to keep his side afloat following an opening spell concentrated around his box.
Thank you for joining us - and have a good week!
The shares are spoiled as neither side finds a way to win - but it does mean that both Colombia and Argentina end the international break unbeaten. A friendly that turned into a scrappy contest low on exciting football, it still provides a helpful blueprint for both teams and their fledgling interim managers. At full-time, it finishes Colombia 0-0 Argentina.
