We are underway at the Amex Stadium, where West Ham start the action.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Brighton and West Ham, where the visitors are looking to maintain a fine run of form.
Brighton have hit a slump in recent weeks and have now gone six matches across all competitions without a win since defeating Manchester United back in August. The match against West Ham starts a sequence of winnable games for the Seagulls, who will aim to put together a decent run of form.
Brighton XI (4-4-1-1): Mat Ryan; Bruno, Shane Duffy, Lewis Dunk, Gaetan Bong; Anthony Knockaert, Davy Propper, Beram Kayal, Solly March; Alireza Jahanbakhsh; Glenn Murray.
West Ham XI (4-1-4-1): Lukasz Fabianski; Pablo Zabaleta, Fabian Balbuena, Issa Diop, Arthur Masuaku; Declan Rice; Andriy Yarmolenko, Mark Noble, Pedro Obiang, Felipe Anderson; Marko Arnautovic.
Brighton subs: David Button, Jurgen Locadia, Yves Bissouma, Jose Izquierdo, Florin Andone, Leon Balogun, Bernardo.
West Ham subs: Adrian, Robert Snodgrass, Michail Antonio, Aaron Cresswell, Ryan Fredericks, Lucas Perez, Angelo Ogbonna.
Meanwhile, West Ham have improved significantly in recent weeks to bounce back from a four-match losing streak at the start of the season. Victories over Everton and Manchester United, either side of a goalless draw with Chelsea and hitting eight past Macclesfield in the EFL Cup, have restored the feel-good factor in east London.
Chris Hughton makes three changes from the defeat to Manchester City last week, bringing in Jahanbakhsh for his first Premier League start alongside Bruno and Murray. As a result, Locadia and Bissouma drop to the bench while Martin Montoya is not in the squad.
Manuel Pellegrini names an unchanged side following last week's victory over Manchester United, with Arnautovic retaining his spot despite an ongoing knee problem. Rice, still to decide his international future, sits in front of the defence and will have plenty of eyes cast on his performance.
So far, so good for Brighton as they have frustrated West Ham throughout the opening period and have left the Hammers feeding on scraps. Down the other end, Hughton's side have been effective and hold a narrow advantage at the break thanks to Murray's goal.
West Ham need a rethink at the break as it simply is not working and we have barely seen anything creative from their attacking trio. Brighton will hope to continue as they were but may need another goal to finish the game as they are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
A huge victory for Brighton who bring an end to a six-game winless streak to claim all three points thank to Murray's first-half strike. West Ham wasted a few decent opportunities but looked lacklustre for the majority of the game and now must reassess their situation after the international break as they have lost five of eight league games this season.
Brighton will see their confidence boosted significantly by this result and Hughton will hope to build upon the victory after the international break when they travel to Newcastle. Meanwhile, Pellegrini's side face another stern test in two weeks time in a crucial London derby against Tottenham.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye.
