We're underway at the Vitality Stadium.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Manchester United at the Vitality Stadium.
United have had their issues this season in the Premier League, although shoots of recovery are starting to appear. Jose Mourinho's side are unbeaten in their last three matches in the top flight, seeing off Everton in their last game on Monday night. The club are still off the pace of the Champions League places, but a win today would take them in striking distance of their rivals.
BOURNEMOUTH (3-4-3): Asmir Begovic; Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Nathan Ake; Adam Smith, Lewis Cook, Jefferson Lerma, Ryan Fraser; David Brooks, Callum Wilson, Junior Stanislas.
SUBS: Artur Boruc, Dan Gosling, Andrew Surman, Lys Mousset, Jordan Ibe, Charlie Daniels, Jermain Defoe.
MANCHESTER UNITED (4-3-3): David de Gea; Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Fred, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez.
SUBS: Phil Jones, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera, Sergio Romero, Matteo Darmian, Scott McTominay.
Bournemouth rung the changes for their clash against Norwich in the League Cup, but are back to a more familiar line-up this afternoon. There is one change to their side from their win over Fulham last week as Stanislas gets the nod to start over Daniels. Fraser drops back into a wing-back role with Stanislas supporting Wilson in the final third.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
Bournemouth enter today's fixture ahead of United in the Premier League table, sitting in sixth - two places abouve the Red Devils. Eddie Howe's men have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign and are in good form. The Cherries are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, including their last outing in the EFL Cup which saw them defeat Norwich City to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
It's all square at the break between Bournemouth and Manchester United at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries dominated the early stages of the game and took a deserved lead when Callum Wilson converted Junior Stanislas' low cross into the box. Eddie Howe's men remained on top and could have been awarded a penalty for a clumsy challenge by Luke Shaw on David Brooks. However, the referee waved play on and United soon found a way back into the game when Anthony Martial scored his fifth Premier League goal of the campaign to send the contest level at the interval.
Bournemouth were on top and had United on the ropes in the opening 20 minutes, but couldn't score the decisive second goal to take command of the game. United were slick enough in the final third to notch the equaliser and that will give the visitors confidence as they've been far from their best this afternoon.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
Next up for Manchester United is their away trip against Juventus in the Champions League as they look to bounce back from their defeat to the Italian side at Old Trafford. Bournemouth are next in action against Newcastle on the road next week in the Premier League.
