We're underway at the Etihad Stadium.
It's the first Manchester derby of the season where the two clubs will be determined to make a statement - not only in the region, but the Premier League. City have enjoyed an imperious start to the campaign, dropping only four points from their opening 11 matches. Pep Guardiola's men are unbeaten in 11 games in all competitions, with their only defeat this term coming at the hands of Lyon in the Champions League. They've scored 12 goals in their last two matches in hammerings of Southampton and Shakhtar Donetsk and will be looking to put their rivals to the sword this afternoon.

Jose Mourinho's old swagger was out again in force after Manchester United overturned a deficit to defeat Juventus in Turin during the week. Five weeks ago the pressure was on the Portuguese. However, since the Red Devils launched a second-half comeback to beat Newcastle United at Old Trafford, they've lost only out of their last six games, including a run of three wins on the bounce. United are still well off the pace in the Premier League, but a victory this afternoon would change the perspective of their start to the campaign.
There will be a minute of silence for Remembrance Sunday before kick-off.
Manchester City hold a 1-0 lead over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium courtesy of David Silva's strike in the 10th minute. Pep Guardiola will be content with his side's performance, although they've been far from their best. City enjoyed a fast start to the contest and took a deserved lead when David Silva converted from close range. However, they were unable to build on their advantage, which has kept United in the game.
United were rocked by City's fast start to the game and were fortunate to only concede one goal in the opening 15 minutes. Once the tempo slowed they were able to get a foothold in the match to keep the home side at bay. At the other end of the pitch, Jose Mourinho's side failed to test Ederson. Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have to do more to get their side going in the final third in the second half.
City are next in action after the international break against West Ham United on the road, while Manchester United host Crystal Palace in their next outing.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
