Cédric Soares enters the game and replaces M. Icardi.
Icardi does not look too happy as he is sacrificed with just seconds on the clock. Full-back Cedric is introduced to shore up the backline.
90'
SAVE! Martinez has surely done enough to earn a place in the starting line-up next week. Having scored what is looking increasingly like being the game's only goal, he sends another shot on target for Sepe to make the save.
89'
J. Biabiany gets yellow.
Biabiany is cautioned for a sloppy challenge. That will eat up more valuable seconds for Inter.
88'
R. Gagliardini enters the game and replaces R. Nainggolan.
Nainggolan is taken off in Inter's second change of the match and Gagliardini is brought on in his place. Can the incoming player make a similiar impact to fellow sub Martinez?
86'
Nainggolan has a go from range but it was never going to creep past Sepe, who is equal to it. That could be the Belgium midfielder's last involvement in the match...
85'
R. Nainggolan gets yellow.
Yellow card Radja Nainggolan
84'
Sprocati comes on for Kucka as Parma make their third and final change. The hosts have just over five minutes to rescue a point.
83'
M. Sprocati enters the game and replaces J. Kucka.
Inter could do with a second to make sure of their first three-point haul of 2019. Parma have offered next to no attacking threat in the second half, but they have nothing to lose and will surely throw all they have at their opponents.
81'
ALMOST A SECOND! Parma are heading for a third-straight home defeat and they nearly find themselves a couple of goals down here. Vecino curls the ball inches wide of the far post, a grateful Sepe watching it on its way through.
Minute
Description
79'
L. Martínez has scored a goal for Inter Milan! Assist by R. Nainggolan.
GOOOAAALLL!!! PARMA 0-1 INTER! Martinez makes an instant impact from the bench, scoring within two minutes of being introduced by Spalletti. Barilla is caught on the ball by Perisic and Parma are in trouble from that point on, with Nainggolan sliding it through for Martinez, who shows good strength and desire to blast the ball high into the net despite losing his balance.
Nainggolan is credited with the assist for his fairly simple throughball, but Perisic also deserves credit for turning over possession close to the half-way line.
78'
Inglese is a long way out but that does not stop him from having a go with a headed attempt. The effort is off target and the offside flag would have cut short his celebrations even if it had crept in.
77'
L. Štulac enters the game and replaces M. Scozzarella.
L. Martínez enters the game and replaces João Mário.
Stulac is on for Scozzarella as Parma make their second change of the contest.
Martinez comes on for Joao Mario in a change that probably should have been made about 15 minutes ago. Inter finally have something a little different in the final third.
75'
Brozovic has a player either side of him but he opts to drive towards the opposition box and has the ball taken off him before he can shoot or pick out a team-mate. Parma counter, with Inglese having a shot blocked after being set up by Gervinho.
73'
Joao Mario produces what is arguably the worst cross of the match so far - and that really is saying something! Spalletti is finally readying Martinez to come on.
71'
Yet more frustration for Inter as Icardi, edging closer to a seventh league game without a goal, is flagged for offside when the ball is played in behind - lazy play from the striker.
70'
Another cross comes into the box from the right but it bounces awkwardly and Icardi is again unable to bring it under control. Spalletti will be desperate for a slice of luck as we enter the final 20 minutes of the match.
68'
Inter are enjoying some sustained pressure but Parma are doing just about enough to keep their opponents out. D'Aversa will surely consider making another substitution in the next five minutes as the visitors are looking as though they will find a way through soon.
66'
Brozovic fizzes the ball into the feet of Icardi, but he cannot do a great deal with it when under pressure in the box. The striker tries to backheel the ball with his back to goal but it is blocked to safety.
64'
Iacoponi keeps his eye on the ball, stands his ground and blocks Perisic from getting in a cross from the left. Parma are holding on somewhat and could do with another change.
61'
R. Gagliolo gets yellow.
Gagliolo trips Joao Mario, who was looking to break away, and picks up a yellow card that will rule him out of Parma's next match.
60'
Inter will wonder how this match is still level having dominated the second half. Parma are holding on in there, though, and they cause some panic at the back as Gervinho takes the ball past D'Ambrosio but sees his cross blocked.
58'
J. Biabiany enters the game and replaces L. Siligardi.
Parma make the first change of the contest, bringing on Biabiany for Siligardi with a little over half an hour to play.
57'
Inter are knocking on the door for a goal now. Still feeling a little hard done by after having one ruled out, D'Ambrosio has another reason to complain as he feels that his cross hit Iacoponi's arm in the box. Replays show that it hit the defender's hip, however.
53'
Asamoah comes inside and Perisic is left in space down the left, sending in a low drive that is cleared behind for a corner.
51'
Parma have been slow out of the blocks in this second period and they are at risk of falling behind. Nainggolan rolls the ball to Icardi, but the striker is unable to bring it under control and get the shot away.
49'
INTER TURNING THE SCREW! Two chances in two minutes for Inter as Perisic sends the ball towards the front post, where Icardi is waiting to glance the ball wide. The second half is already proving a lot more entertaining than the first!
46'
Parma, seeking a first home win in five attempts, get us back underway!
45'
HALF-TIME: PARMA 0-0 INTER
43'
INGLESE COMES CLOSE! Inglese does very well to hold off De Vrij inside the box and work some space to get a shot away on the turn, with the ball spinning wide of the post. Handanovic can only watch it and hope for the best.
41'
TERRIBLE ATTEMPT! Joao Mario has just summed up the first half with one swing of his boot. A free-kick is knocked down into the Italy midfielder's path but rather than sending a shot past Sepe from 10 yards he completely misses the ball and Parma clear their lines.
39'
Inter have started to take control of the match but every now and then they give away possession and Parma look as though they will make their opponents pay. Gervinho in particular is proving a threat on the counter, having already hit the crossbar in the first half.
37'
M. Vecino gets yellow.
Vecino is the first player to enter the referee's book for a late challenge on Gagliolo, though he did appear to get a bit of the ball first.
35'
ICARDI ALMOST TURNS IT HOME! Perisic cuts inside but his shot his heading well off target. Icardi, the poacher that he is, watches the ball all the way and tries to guide the shot back on target, but he cannot keep his attempt down.
33'
Inter have two corners in quick succession and they are both as bad as the other. Spalletti needs to get his players working on their crossing in training next week.
30'
Inter give away possession in midfield and Gervinho carries the ball forward. Parma work the ball to Siligardi, whose shot deflects over Handanovic's crossbar.
28'
Icardi is picked out with his back to goal but is unable to turn and get the shot away. Nainggolan does manage to pull the trigger, only for the ball to deflect behind for a corner.
26'
D'Ambrosio aims a deep cross towards nobody in particular and the ball trickles out of play for a goal-kick. It is easy to see why Icardi is cutting such a frustrated figure up top.
23'
That Gervinho strike was a real let-off for Inter, who have been far from their best in this first half. Spalletti's men are stuck in a real rut and need a goal to revive their confidence.
21'
Asamoah has four players waiting in the middle but he delays the cross and fails to beat his man down the left. This has been an incredibly frustrating start to the match for the visitors.
19'
Inter are finally starting to ask a few questions of their opponents now. Perisic flashes the ball through the six-yard box but nobody in an Inter top pounces in front of goal, with Joao Mario rooted to the spot.
18'
There is a familiar theme developing in the opening quarter of this match as Asamoah is the latest player to overhit what should have been a pretty straightforward cross towards a frustrated Icardi.
17'
Parma hit their opponents on the counter and Gervinho plays it to across to Kucka, who is unable to get a shot away. When the ball eventually arrives in the middle it is out of Gervinho's reach and Inter are able to clear their lines.
15'
A heavy first touch lets down Icardi and the best he can hope for is a corner, which he does well to win in the end. The set-piece is cleared away at the front post.
13'
Icardi drops deep to help with the build-up but this latest Inter attack ends in disappointment as Perisic massively overhits the return pass to his team-mate.
11'
Scozzarella floats a deep free-kick towards the back post and it is nodded back across goal by Alves, but nobody in a Parma shirt can divert it goalwards.
10'
Ten minutes played at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and we await the game's first real chance. Kucka guided a header wide early on but that aside the match has been played out in midfield.
8'
Inter are pressing their opponents high up the pitch and it pays off as Iacoponi runs the ball out of play. There is a good intensity to the visitors' play but they have not really got on the ball in and around the opposition box yet.
6'
Asamoah asks far too much of Perisic with his clipped ball over the top, when a simpler pass would have sufficed. Perisic lets his team-mate know that he took the wrong option.
4'
HEADED CHANCE! Parma are seeing plenty of the ball in the early stages and force a corner through Brozovic's block. Kucka gets on the end of the set-piece but the header flies a good yard or so wide of the target.
2'
Gervinho gets away from his man to reach the byline, but he tries to do a little too much and runs the ball out of play for a goal-kick.
1'
Inter, seeking a first win and a first league goal of 2019, get us underway!

Inter subs: Cedric Soares, Lautaro Martinez, Dalbert, Miranda, Antonio Candreva, Daniele Padelli, Roberto Gagliardini, Andrea Ranocchia.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Serie A meeting between Parma and Inter at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
Parma have endured a mixed run of form over the past couple of months, meanwhile, as they have lost four, drawn three and won two of their last nine matches to find themselves marooned in mid-table. Roberto D'Aversa's side held champions Juventus to a 3-3 draw at the Allianz Stadium in their most recent outing, so this will by no means be an easy task for Inter in their bid to return to winning ways.
PARMA XI (4-3-3): Luigi Sepe; Simone Iacoponi, Bruno Alves (c), Alessandro Bastoni, Riccardo Gagliolo; Juraj Kucka, Matteo Scozzarella, Antonino Barilla; Luca Siligardi, Roberto Inglese, Gervinho.
The two teams are now out on the field at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and we are moments away from kick-off.
Inter head into this match on the back of a three-game losing streak in all competitions, suffering defeat to Torino and Bologna in Serie A either side of a Coppa Italia loss to Lazio on penalties, ending their domestic cup campaign at the quarter-final stage. Luciano Spalletti’s side are still third in the Italian top flight, but they are now just two points in front of Lazio and Roma with a game in hand to play.
Inter cannot afford to drop more points in the race for a top-four finish in Serie A, so could we see Spalletti make a change at the interval? Martinez and Candreva are among the visitors' subs but, no matter who is brought on, the quality of passing in the final third has to be a lot better in the remaining 45 minutes.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
Having put their four-match winless streak behind them, Inter now need to push on when they travel Rapid Vienna for the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday, before then returning to Serie A action with a home match against Sampdoria eight days from now. Parma, who remain in the bottom half after this third home defeat in a row, have a full week's rest before facing Cagliari in their next league outing.
