CASEMIRO IS SENT OFF! This match has had just about everything as the Brazil international is given his marching orders for a second yellow card! He gives away a foul in midfield which the referee does not choose to book him for, but Casemiro then does not allow the requisite space for Michel to take the free-kick, instead blocking the delivery and kicking it away. The match official takes exception to this and books the Real Madrid player – after already showing him a yellow earlier in the match!
75'
Asensio breaks into a sprint as he makes progress down the right-hand side, with Valverde keeping pace as he streaks down the middle. The 11th corner-kick of the day for the visitors leads to a goal as Kroos’ perfectly weighted delivery finds Benzema free in the centre of the penalty area. The striker directs a routine header towards the bottom-right corner which beats Masip!

This time the flag stays down as Asensio turns provider with a chip into the box of his own. Ceballos meets the delivery and smashes a volley towards Masip, which the goalkeeper deals with well as he palms it up and over his crossbar.

29'
A. Tuhami has scored a goal for Real Valladolid! Assist by Sergi Guardiola.
Guardiola’s earlier goal may not have stood, but he once again makes his presence felt – this time via a wonderful lunging assist for Mohamed’s goal.
REAL VALLADOLID SCORE – AND IT WILL COUNT! Real Madrid don’t heed the warning signs as Keko whips a sensational ball to the far post for Guardiola, who plays it across the face of goal with a diving poke. From there, it’s a simple tap-in for Mohamed who turns it past Courtois to make it 1-0 for the hosts!
28'
Reguilon comes forward down the left-hand side and plays a one-two with Ceballos, before cutting inside and having a shot towards the right post which flies well wide.
26'

20'
The hosts have won a penalty and put the ball past Courtois twice in the opening 20 minutes, only to be tied 0-0 with Real Madrid after an absolutely incredible sequence of events. Real Valladolid get the match underway from the kick-off!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the LaLiga fixture between Real Valladolid and Real Madrid!
In their first season in top-flight Spanish football since 2013-14, Real Valladolid will clearly have their sights set on avoiding relegation. Three points above Villarreal in 18th, Sergio Gonzalez has put his side in a position to do so – despite scoring a league-worst 20 goals in 26 matches.
Losers in four of their last five with one goal scored in that time, Real Valladolid must end a winless run stretching back to the end of January. If they are to do it today at home, it will be their first victory over Real Madrid since 2008 – and just their fifth win ever against Los Blancos.
If there has ever been a good time to face Real Madrid, it would be now – after arguably their worst week in club history. A 3-0 defeat at Santiago Bernabeu to Barcelona which knocked Madrid out of the Copa del Rey was followed by a 1-0 loss to the same opponent in the same venue which essentially ended any chance Santiago Solari had at a LaLiga title, and a historic 4-1 win for Ajax in Madrid which ended Real Madrid’s Champions League hopes has deflated the club beyond any recollection.
A raft of injuries, including Gareth Bale, Lucas Vazquez and Vinicius Junior – as well as Dani Carvajal in defence compounds woes for Solari, whose fate was sealed by the trio of season-defining defeats. Incredibly, Real Madrid have only managed three goals in their last five matches, so this could be a low-scoring affair.
REAL VALLADOLID SUBS: Javi Moyano, Daniele Verde, Enes Unal, Duje Cop, Yoel Rodriguez, Pablo Hervias, Moises Delgado.
REAL VALLADOLID XI (4-3-3): Jordi Masip; Nacho Martinez, Fernando Calero, Joaquin Fernandez, Antonito; Anuar Mohamed, Ruben Alcaraz, Michel; Oscar Plano, Sergi Guardiola, Keko.
With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, the team news has been confirmed! Let's start with the home side!
REAL MADRID SUBS: Jesus Vallejo, Cristo Gonzalez, Federico Valverde, Brahim Diaz, Marcelo, Keylor Navase, Jaime Seoane.
REAL MADRID XI (4-3-1-2): Thibaut Courtois; Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho Fernandez, Raphael Varane, Sergi Reguilon; Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Dani Ceballos; Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio.
Real Madrid looked more comfortable after their equaliser, but their inefficiencies in both defence and attack were fully exposed in the first half. The rapid pace down the flanks for Real Valladolid gave Reguilon and Odriozola no end of difficulties – with both Madrid full-backs shown yellow cards in the first half. They are dominating possession but doing little to scare the hosts' backline, which is allowing Sergio Gonzalez’s side to counter in numbers with confidence. With so many injuries and a real loss in confidence, it is difficult to see how Solari can remedy the situation, while Real Valladolid will be very happy with the result thus far, despite the fact that they could be leading by quite a large margin.
That concludes our commentary of the LaLiga fixture between Real Valladolid and Real Madrid! We hope you enjoyed it!
Real Valladolid are in action next Sunday when they travel to face Eibar, while Real Madrid will look to build upon this victory next Saturday, when they host Celta Vigo.
