Ajax have a free-kick in their own half and it's Onana to fire it forwards. Is there a chance in this? Huntelaar challenges for the ball against Azpilicueta, but ends up conceding a foul and that should be enough to see the game out.
FULL-TIME: AJAX 0-1 CHELSEA.
90' +2
We're into four minutes of added time, but Chelsea are doing well to win successive corners and keep the ball penned in Ajax's half and away from their own goal.
90'
R. James enters the game and replaces C. Hudson-Odoi.
Lampard reacts with his own change, bringing off one teenager for another - it's James for Hudson-Odoi.
89'
S. de Jong enters the game and replaces E. Álvarez.
K. Huntelaar enters the game and replaces J. Veltman.
One final roll of the dice for Ajax and they make a double change. First, Alvarez comes off for De Jong.
The second change sees Veltman come on for Huntelaar - two strikers coming on for the final few minutes.
88'
Chelsea raised their performance in the second half and Batshuayi's goal is nothing less than their second-half performance deserves! Ajax are punished for their own lack of incisiveness.
86'
M. Batshuayi has scored a goal for Chelsea! Assist by C. Pulišić.
GOAAAAAAL! CHELSEA LEAD LATE ON! It's substitute Batshuayi with a wonderful finish that hits the underside of the crossbar on the way in! The cross was behind him and he did extremely well to make proper contact with the ball. A massive goal for Chelsea!
Great play from Pulisic, too, on the left to pick out Batshuayi! The substitutes combine to give Chelsea a late lead!
84'
K. Zouma gets yellow.
It's two-on-two in Ajax's favour - Tadic and Neres breaking - but Jorginho is in a perfect position to cut out the throughball. What a crucial interception!
Zouma is shown a yellow card for a foul on Ziyech during that Ajax counter.
83'
It's Ajax on the attack now though, but Tadic gets in the way of a Van de Beek shot and Chelsea get the goal-kick.
81'
CHANCE! Pulisic now is the next to try and test Onana, cutting inside from the left and getting a shot away, but it's wide. Chelsea are just upping the pressure a little as the game reaches the end.
80'
CHANCE! Hudson-Odoi delivers a corner towards Zouma at the back post and he heads it back across goal to Tomori, but his effort is wide. There were claims of handball against Tagliafico, but the referee waves them away.
Minute
Description
78'
Hudson-Odoi feeds Pulisic this time with a clever flick and continues his run into the box. He's looking for the return pass, but Pulisic's cross is blocked for a Chelsea corner.
76'
Jorginho wins possession back and plays the ball into Batshuayi's feet, who tries to swivel and feed Pulisic on his outside, but his pass is poor and Ajax clear.
74'
David Neres enters the game and replaces Q. Promes.
No goal for Promes, but plenty of promise in his performance - he makes way for Neres.
72'
CHANCE! Batshuayi almost makes an instant impact, but Blind does enough to put him off as he's about to shoot and Onana falls on the ball.
71'
M. Batshuayi enters the game and replaces T. Abraham.
Abraham didn't get the opportunities he would have been hoping for and he's the next to make way. Batshuayi comes on.
68'
Ziyech spots the run of Dest out on the right and feeds him with a throughball, but the right-back makes a mess of the cross and it's too close to Kepa.
66'
C. Pulišić enters the game and replaces Willian.
Lampard turns to his bench and takes off Willian for Pulisic. This could see Hudson-Odoi move over to the right.
65'
Lisandro Martínez gets yellow.
Martinez is shown a yellow card for catching Jorginho in the eye with a trailing arm. Chelsea win the free-kick deep in their own half.
64'
Blind with a free-kick into Ziyech, who chests the ball down to get away from his marker. His cross is too high for Tadic, though.
62'
Just over an hour gone and that Alvarez header was Ajax's first real chance of the game - barring their disallowed goal, of course. Chelsea have been sloppy at the back and Ajax seem to be edging closer to finally taking advantage of that.
57'
Here is Abraham though trying to connect with a Willian throughball, but Veltman gets his body in the way and ends up winning a free-kick with some great defending.
54'
Willian with a header to Mount on the edge of the box, back to Willian, but he turns back to Azpilicueta as Chelsea look to switch the point of attack. They work it around to Hudson-Odoi, but he loses out to Dest this time.
53'
Hudson-Odoi, Alonso and Mount are combining really well on the left. Perhaps it's part of a plan to target right-back Dest - he's only 18, having made his senior debut earlier this year.
51'
Mount does extremely well to wriggle free of his marker and fire a shot away, but it's blocked by Blind at the edge of the box.
49'
D. Tadić gets yellow.
Chelsea get a chance to break from the set piece through Willian, but Tadic brings him down and is shown a yellow card.
48'
Tadic steals the ball off Alonso in a dangerous position, but Tomori is there to cover and gives away a corner. Ajax play it short again to Ziyech, who whips in a ball, but Chelsea clear for another corner.
46'
KICK-OFF! Ajax get the game back underway, but will there be a goal?
45' +1
HALF-TIME: AJAX 0-0 CHELSEA.
45'
We're into one minute of added time at the end of the first half, despite a relatively lengthy VAR check.
43'
Azpilicueta finds himself in acres of space out on the right and surges towards the box, but he decides to go for goal himself despite having three team-mates waiting for a ball in - it's not on target.
41'
Van de Beek tries to find Ziyech with a deft flick over a compact Chelsea defence, but it's deflected out for a corner. Ajax play short and end up losing possession - Mount is on his own though and is forced to halt the counter.
39'
BLOCKED! Promes again has a chance at the back post, but Azpilicueta just beats him to the ball and gets a vital foot in the way to prevent what would have been a certain goal.
37'
Blind is now down on the turf with an issue and play has been halted.
33'
Hudson-Odoi one-on-one with Veltman and he manages to get a yard on him for a cross, but it's too close to Onana who collects it easily.
31'
Ajax breaking here though, Promes trying to feed Tadic on the overlap, but Azpilicueta is there to cut it out.
29'
Just under half an hour played and Ajax are enjoying most of the ball so far, but they haven't tested Kepa yet and the Chelsea keeper has had a pretty straightforward game. They need to start turning this promising territory into something more substantial.
27'
WIDE! Alonso crosses towards Abraham, but it doesn't reach him and instead falls perfectly for Hudson-Odoi to strike - he hits it on the half-volley and can't find the target. That's a good chance!
25'
Ajax are breaking now through Ziyech, who manages to poke it through to Dest on the underlap, but he's unable to find Tadic as the move comes to an end and Chelsea regain possession.
23'
Chelsea assistant manager Jody Morris is shown a yellow card.
22'
Chelsea are on the attack here though, Abraham wide to Hudson-Odoi, but Ajax clear and try to launch a counter of their own.
17'
It's very scrappy in Chelsea's half - Ajax struggling to keep possession in tight areas while Chelsea struggle to clear! Ajax do manage to hold onto the ball though and keep their visitors penned in for the time being.
14'
Hudson-Odoi has some space to attack now on the left and he tries to cut inside and dart into the box, but he's ushered away from the danger areas and Chelsea are forced back.
12'
Ajax just moving the ball around well in their own half, trying to draw Chelsea up the pitch. They hit it long towards Tadic, but it's hopeful more than anything else and easily cut out.
10'
Tagliafico on to Promes, back to Tagliafico who tries to take it to the byline and get a cross in, but Zouma is on the mark and makes a crucial block. Corner to Ajax.
It's drilled low through to Van de Beek, but Zouma is there again to block his shot! Chelsea are looking very vulnerable in Amsterdam!
9'
Veltman wins possession in the Chelsea half and lines up a strike from distance, but it's wide! Not a bad effort for a defender by any means, but it's not testing Kepa.
7'
It's lucky Chelsea have Abraham up front - he's a big, physical presence and serves as a useful out ball. He's going to come in handy given how high and aggressively Ajax are pressing Chelsea's back four in the opening exchanges.
5'
Another corner for Chelsea, this time taken by Willian on the right - and it's Tomori with a free header, but it's off target.
3'
Tomori is caught in possession as Van de Beek feeds Promes on the left. He returns the pass back inside to Van de Beek, but the assistant has flagged for offside. An early reminder of how dangerous Ajax are on the break.
2'
Chelsea with an early corner - Hudson-Odoi to take, but Onana leaps into the air and punches clear.

KICK-OFF! We're underway!
It’s a big game for Chelsea today. Last season’s Europa League winners are third in Group H with a win and a draw and will fall further off the pace should they fail to secure a result in Amsterdam. But they face a tough test against the undefeated group leaders - Ajax have a perfect record, winning both games without conceding a goal.
Hello and welcome to the first of today’s Champions League games! It’s last season’s semi-finalists Ajax against Chelsea at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
AJAX XI (4-2-3-1): Andre Onana; Sergino Dest, Joel Veltman, Daley Blind, Nicolas Tagliafico; Edson Alvarez, Lisandro Martinez; Hakim Ziyech, Donny van de Beek, Quincy Promes; Dusan Tadic.
SUBS: Bruno Varela, Perr Schuurs, David Neres, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Noussair Mazraoui, Siem de Jong, Razvan Marin.
CHELSEA XI (4-2-3-1): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Fikayo Tomori, Kurt Zouma, Marcos Alonso; Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic; Willian, Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi; Tammy Abraham.
SUBS: Willy Caballero, Olivier Giroud, Christian Pulisic, Michy Batshuayi, Reece James, Emerson, Billy Gilmour.
Don’t go anywhere because the teams are out and kick-off is on the way!
Ajax then perhaps the slightly more dominant side - despite not forcing a save from Kepa - and they've enjoyed more of the ball, but Chelsea have only had to make six tackles. This suggests that Ajax haven't used their possession well. One tackle, though, was absolutely crucial - Azpilicueta sliding in after 39 minutes to steal the ball off Ziyech before he could shoot.
Back-to-back wins in the Champions League sees Chelsea go top of Group H, drawing level with Ajax on six points. With Valencia in action against Lille later today, this group could become very congested with three sides all on six points - but today's win ensures they're in a strong position. It's Ajax again when European football resumes next month, but first they play Burnley on the weekend. Ajax return to Eredivisie action against Feyenoord on Sunday.
That's all from us for Chelsea's late win in Amsterdam. Thanks for staying with us and goodbye for now!
