GOOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!! VALENCIA 1-3 REAL MADRID!!!! PAREJO PULLS ONE BACK! Parejo slams the penalty into the roof of the net, meaning no clean sheet for Courtois. It will surely be nothing more than a consolation, though.
90'
Valencia's free-kick causes some panic in the Madrid box. Sobrino flicks it goalwards and Gomez nearly makes a telling touch in front of Courtois, but the Madrid keeper gets down low to keep it out.
88'
Casemiro gets yellow.
Casemiro mistimes his tackle on substitute Sobrino and is shown the first yellow card of the contest.
86'
Madrid's players are queuing up to score, seemingly unhappy to only win by three goals. The ball is clipped towards the back post but Mariano is not able to get on the end of it. Valencia have been poor at the back today.
84'
James goes inside his man, then outside and gets a shot away. He does not hit the ball all that cleanly and it ends up in the side-netting.
83'
Rubén Sobrino enters the game and replaces F. Coquelin.
M. Díaz enters the game and replaces L. Jović.
Mariano is on for Jovic, who has been pretty underwhelming today. He does leave the field with an assist for Modric's strike, though.
Sobrino comes on for Coquelin with time fast running out for Valencia to score a consolation goal.
81'
Madrid have had 16 attempts to Valencia's six, with six and two of those on target respectively. There is no doubt that Zidane's men have been the better side.
79'
ANOTHER COURTOIS SAVE! Soler's low shot is parried by Courtois, who is being worked a lot more all of a sudden. Cheryshev then pulls it back for Gomez, who bizarrely dummies it for a Madrid player to clear.
77'
J. Rodríguez enters the game and replaces L. Modrić.
Here comes Madrid's second change - James is on for Modric with 13 minutes of normal time to play.

Description
76'
FIRST SAVE FOR COURTOIS! Gomez gets in a powerful shot from the edge of the box and Courtois finally has a save to make, albeit a very simple one down the middle.
73'
Valencia win a corner and Parejo swings it towards the front post, where Coquelin is waiting to flick it on. Torres is well positioned to meet the ball at the back post, but he is unable to make contact under pressure from Carvajal.
71'
Marcelo enters the game and replaces F. Mendy.
Zidane turns to his bench for the first time today by bringing on Marcelo for Mendy.
70'
D. Cheryshev enters the game and replaces K. Gameiro.
The semi-final now well and truly over, Cheryshev comes on for Gameiro in the Valencia attack.
68'
Valencia have offered next to nothing in the second half. It has been one-way traffic and Zidane will no doubt want his side to add more goals to their tally.
67'
Isco somehow gets past a couple of players and so very nearly cuts it back for Kroos, only for a Valencia player to intercept. Madrid are looking good value for a fourth goal - they have been dominant from the off.
65'
L. Modrić has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by L. Jović.
Jovic played the ball into the feet of Modric and was desperate for the return pass. He was unable to free himself up, though, so Modric took it on himself - an inspired choice!
GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!! VALENCIA 0-3 REAL MADRID!!! MODRIC KILLS OFF THE CONTEST! Madrid have been brilliant today - and this is yet another impressive goal. Modric picks up the ball from Jovic on the right-hand side of the box, shows some good footwork and then sends an outside-of-the-boot effort spinning away from Jaume.
63'
Zidane is holding off from making his first change of the game. Madrid are very comfortable, boasting a two-goal advantage and looking the more likely side to score the third of the contest as they patiently work the ball forward.
61'
SIDE-NETTING! Modric opts against shooting and, after sending an opponent to the floor, he pulls is back for Valverde. The midfielder's shot from 15 yards is into the side-netting - half the ground thought it was in.
59'
NEARLY A THIRD! Valencia's players back off and Isco is tempted into pulling the trigger from 22 yards. His effort is inches over the crossbar.
58'
M. Gómez enters the game and replaces G. Kondogbia.
Gomez is on for Kondogbia as Valencia seemingly change formation. Not surprising given they require at least two goals.
57'
Casemiro spots the run of Kroos but his floated ball over the top has a tad too much on it and runs out of play.
56'
Isco is being given far too much space to operate in. It looks as though Valencia boss Celades has seen enough - a change is about to be made.
55'
Valencia play some one-touch football around 10 yards from the Madrid box, but Gameiro lays it straight off to an opposition player and the move fizzles out.
53'
Pass, pass, pass from Madrid, and Valverde is at the heart of it all. The ball is worked to Isco, who jinks past one player and looks to find Jovic. He goes to ground under minimal - if any - contact as the attack comes to a disappointing end.
50'
Valverde leads the Madrid counter and squares the ball to Modric. The Croatia international feeds it to Jovic, who loses possession on the edge of the Valencia box. Jovic has been pretty disappointing today.
48'
Madrid have not made the best of starts to the second half. Possession is lost and Carvajal pulls back on Kondogbia to concede a needless free-kick.
46'
RESTART! We are back under way at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. Madrid have one foot in Sunday's final and now need to simply see the job through.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: VALENCIA 0-2 REAL MADRID
44'
Madrid need to calm things down - a Valencia goal now will change the complexion of the contest ahead of half-time. Los Che are pushing for a goal as we enter the final stages of the half.
43'
There is real carnage in the Madrid box as they struggle to get the ball clear. Gabriel keeps his balance to get in a blocked shot. The ball then comes in from the left but Zidane's side survive the danger.
39'
Isco has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!! VALENCIA 0-2 REAL MADRID!!! ISCO DOUBLES MADRID'S LEAD! Carvajal slots the ball in behind for Valverde, who does well to pick out Modric in the middle. Modric's shot is blocked in front of goal but Isco controls the rebound and fires it past Jaume to give Madrid some breathing space.
38'
Madrid are making the most of having the likes of Modric, Casemiro and Kroos on the field as they knock the ball around and take the sting out of the contest. Half-time is fast approaching in Saudi Arabia.
37'
The game has become a little sloppy in midfield over the last couple of minutes. Plenty of crosses are being cut out when they arrive in both boxes.
34'
Gameiro is left to battle it out with Varane out on the right, the latter coming out on top. Valencia are the better side at the moment but you sense Madrid could easily move through the gears should they need to - they are not exactly holding on.
32'
There is no doubt that Valencia are the team with momentum on their side, though they still trail to Kroos' goal after 15 minutes. Mendy has a couple of players to aim for but bends his cross from the left straight out of play. Poor!
30'
Kroos' deep free-kick is headed down by Casemiro on the edge of the six-yard box, but Valencia manage to get the ball clear. The match has been fairly evenly balanced over the last few minutes.
26'
Valencia have had the better of things since falling behind to Kroos' cheeky strike. Wass has space to run into down the right but opts to play an early ball in behind, which the Madrid defence easily deal with.
22'
Valencia are starting to settle into the match now as they knock the ball around a little more freely. Los Che have had just 31 per cent of the ball so far and have yet to register an attempt of note.
20'
CHEEKY! Jaume has already been caught out once today but he is alert to keep out Casemiro's attempt from inside his own half. There is no harm in trying, I guess!
17'
Jaume was seemingly sorting out his defence when being caught out by Kroos for that opening goal. Valencia are starting to get the ball forward a little more frequently now, but Madrid are standing firm at the back.
15'
T. Kroos has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!!! VALENCIA 0-1 REAL MADRID! UNBELIEVABLE FROM KROOS! Madrid have dominated the early stages and they have taken the lead through some Kroos brilliance. The midfielder spots Jaume is not properly positioned and whips in a corner that catches out the Valencia keeper. Jaume gets two hands to it but he is behind the line and is unable to spare his blushes.
13'
Madrid are controlling the tempo of the game, which is to be expected with the likes of Kroos, Valverde, Casemiro and Modric on the pitch. Valencia are having to hold on in there.
12'
Gameiro is leading the line for Valencia, with Torres to his right and Soler on the left. Not that we have seen much of Los Che's attacking talents thus far - it has been all Madrid!
10'
Valencia are struggling to get the ball out of their own half. Carvajal attempts to swing in a cross from the right but it is cut out by the first man. To Valencia's credit, they force their opponents all the way back to Courtois.
8'
Valverde is the latest Madrid player to have a go at goal, but he fails to find the target. Zidane's men have started on top and are good value for an early breakthrough on the basis of the first eight minutes.
5'
Isco, heavily involved in these early stages, feeds the ball to Casemiro and the Brazil international's long-ranger flies over Jaume's bar.
3'
Soler clips Isco and the Madrid midfielder goes crashing to the ground. A free-kick is awarded around 30 yards out, which Kroos delivers into the middle. It is a Valencia player that gets to it first.

KICK-OFF! We are up and running in the first of the two Supercopa semi-finals!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Supercopa de Espana semi-final clash between Valencia and Real Madrid at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The final will be staged at this same venue on Sunday, with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid facing off in the other semi-final on Thursday. Madrid are unbeaten in 14 matches in all competitions and come into this game as favourites given they are nine points better off than Valencia in LaLiga. Albert Celades' side have lost just one of their last 12 games, meanwhile, so this should be a tight contest.
VALENCIA XI (4-4-2): Jaume Domenech; Daniel Wass, Ezequiel Garay, Gabriel Paulista, Jose Gaya; Francis Coquelin, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Daniel Parejo (c), Carlos Soler; Kevin Gameiro, Ferran Torres.
REAL MADRID XI (4-3-2-1): Thibaut Courtois; Daniel Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos (c), Ferland Mendy; Federico Valverde, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Isco, Luka Modric; Luka Jovic.
Rather than the traditional one-off tie between the LaLiga champions and Copa del Rey holders we have become accustomed to, from this season the Supercopa is being contested between last term's top three in the Spanish top flight, plus domestic cup winners Valencia.
Subs: James Rodriguez, Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, Alphonse Areola, Mariano Diaz, Vinicius Junior, Marcelo.
Garay and Kondogbia are restored to Valencia's starting line-up on the back of last weekend's 1-0 home win over Eibar in LaLiga. Rodrigo Moreno suffered a sprain to his right knee in that match and misses out today, though, so Gameiro and Torres are tasked with leading the line.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, with kick-off just moments away.
Valencia have had the odd promising moment and it would have been a different game had Gameiro taken his chance 28 minutes in with the scoreline at 1-0. As it is, though, Celades will know his side have a real mountain to climb in the remaining 45 minutes. Gomez is an option for Valencia, while Zidane can call upon the likes of Vinicius, Rodrygo and James should he wish.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
Zidane's men can now look forward to Sunday's final against either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, with those two sides scheduled to face off in the other semi-final on Thursday. There is no third-place play-off, so Valencia will return to action on January 19 with a trip to Real Mallorca in LaLiga.
