87'
T. Walcott has scored a goal for Everton! Assist by André Gomes.
GOAL! EVERTON ARE LEVEL! What a blow for Villa, as Walcott meets Gomes’ cross from the left. His header loops up over Reina and drops into the opposite corner, with Konza just unable to do enough to keep it out.
Gomes has been much more involved in Everton’s attacking play in the last ten minutes and his cross from right out on the left wing was a brilliant one.
82'
Sigurdsson curls in a corner which both Calvert-Lewin and Keane go up for, but neither make contact. It has been a dismal attacking display from Everton.
79'
That is poor from Kean. The youngster runs through a crowd of Villa players but is soon off balance. Instead of attempting to find a team-mate, he elects to go for goal, and blazes a strike way over the bar.
74'
M. Kean enters the game and replaces Richarlison.
73'
G. Sigurðsson enters the game and replaces T. Davies.
Ancelotti has responded with a double change – Kean is on in place of Richarlison.
Sigurdsson is also on, with Davies making way.
72'
E. Konsa has scored a goal for Aston Villa! Assist by C. Hourihane.
GOOOOAAAALL!!! VILLA TAKE THE LEAD! A free-kick from the right catches Everton's defence out and Konsa is on hand to turn it home. What a huge goal that could be for Villa!
Hourihane delivered a quality cross, and Everton's defence were all at sea. Konsa was alert, though, and got the decisive touch.
71'
Grealish shrugs off Davies, twisting one way and then the other to get a shot off, but three Everton defenders had converged on Villa’s captain and there was no way through.

Chance for McGinn! He goes up for a header in the centre of the area, but can't send it on target, with the ball instead looping up away from goal.

L. Digne gets yellow.
Digne goes into the book for a foul on McGinn.

Iwobi finally gets the better of Targett and delivers an inviting cross into the six-yard box. Calvert-Lewin, though, could not react quickly enough to connect with it.

Gomes thumps in a free-kick from out wide on the left, with Calvert-Lewin rising to meet it. However, the striker can’t turn his header on target.
49'
Once again, Grealish finds himself with space to shoot from his position in the left-hand channel. He curls an effort goalwards – towards the right-hand upright – but once more he puts too much on it.
46'
Everton get the second half up and running.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: EVERTON 0-0 ASTON VILLA.

Grealish whips in a free-kick from the right, but Keane is on hand to clear it, as two it is confirmed there will be a minimum of two minutes added time.

Iwobi’s tackle only results in Douglas Luiz getting free in the middle, and the ex-Manchester City midfielder only has eyes for goal – his effort, though, is a poor one which does not test Pickford.
39'
Gomes sends in the cross, which is hit towards the near post, but Douglas Luiz is on hand to cut it out and concede a corner. Gomes again takes the set-piece, but no attacker got close to getting on the end of it.

35'
Grealish gets another chance to run at Everton’s defence, and this time gets a shot away. His effort may have been on target, but it takes a deflection and sails out for a Villa corner.
34'
Gomes does well to hold off a challenge and slip it wide to Digne. His cross is blocked, but the full-back keeps up the pressure and finds Iwobi. However, he slices his strike well over the bar.
31'
Excellent defending from Branthwaite, as he manages to steal the ball ahead of Trezeguet and the draw a foul, relieving the pressure on Everton’s line.
29'
After a bright start, Everton have rather faded as an attacking force, with Villa getting a foothold. However, with Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin, the hosts have plenty to offer on the counter.
27'
Grealish has been on the fringes of things so far, but takes control as he looks to drive his way into Everton’s area. He gets the better of Gomes and Coleman, but Davies gets across to ensure the playmaker’s path to goal is blocked.
23'
There will now be a break for drinks.
22'
Hourihane is no stranger to scoring stunning, long-range strikes, though he gets an effort all wrong on this occasion as he slices a wild strike well wide of Pickford’s goal.
20'
Frustrating play from Iwobi, who tries to get the better of his marker but only results in putting himself on the back foot. Keane is on hand to help out, punting the ball up to Richarlison, but his touch is a poor one and the Brazil international then concedes a foul, relieving any pressure.
18'
Branthwaite’s first involvement is to go into an aerial challenge with Mings in Everton’s area. He wins the ball, doing well to get it clear, but takes a knock from the Villa defender on the way down. He will be fine to carry on, though.
16'
J. Branthwaite enters the game and replaces M. Holgate.
Indeed, Holgate will not be able to carry on and, after making his debut against Wolves, young defender Branthwaite will come on for Everton.

A half-chance now for Villa, as a cross from the right finds Samatta in space. However, the forward had to stretch to meet it, and he sends his header over the bar.
12'
Villa get forward now, with Douglas Luiz sending it wide for the overlapping El Mohamady. The full-back drills in a cross, but Everton’s defence deals with it comfortably.

7'
Bernard cuts inside from the left and gets Everton driving forward, with the diminutive winger combining with Iwobi. However, his touch on the edge of Villa’s box lets him down, and the visitors clear their lines.

He intercepts a stray pass and feeds Iwobi, but the former Arsenal man cannot pick out Calvert-Lewin and the move breaks down.
