Roberto does excellently at the back post to deflect Mallo's driven cross away from danger with Nolito ready to pounce behind the full-back.

Pedri looks set to launch a counter-attack until he is cynically dragged down in midfield by Beltran.

Nolito takes a right-footed inswinging corner from the left which is met by the head of Nestor Araujo at the front post, however, that will not trouble Neto as it sails well over the bar.
87'
Sergio Busquets gets yellow.
Busquets is cautioned for a tactical foul on Aspas near halfway which stopped Celta's striker from racing away.
86'
Although they are down to ten men, Barcelona still look the most likely to grab the third goal on the counter. Garcia's men are committing men forward and leaving gaps at the back but still don't look like creating any real opportunities.
84'
Jordi Alba gets yellow.
Despite his best intentions, Alba is booked after sliding in late on goalkeeper Villar when chasing a pass in to the area.
83'
Ronald Araujo commits a needless foul which gives Nolito the chance to whip in a cross from the edge of the area. Celta's substitute opts to shoot but it ends up being a straightforward save for Neto.
82'
Messi dummies past Busquets' pass, allowing Roberto to run on to the ball. The full-back makes good progress before the move breaks down at the feet of Pedri.
Minute
Description
81'
De Jong takes a bit of time to get back to his feet as he is clattered from behind by Mina. The visitors are playing smartly here and attempting to see things out, killing time and not giving Celta any reason to believe they are still in this game.
79'
Nolito has his head in his hands after he runs at Ronald Araujo and curls a right-footed shot well wide of Neto's goal.
77'
Roberto aims a chipped cross towards the back post with his right foot and it is headed away for another Barcelona corner.

Tapia stops Coutinho from progressing by tackling him with his shoulder and the referee cautions the midfielders for his cynical effort.
68'
Aspas' poor touch nearly allows Fati a chance to counter-attack near halfway until Tapia steps in and intervenes.
65'
There is a short stoppage as the referee runs off of the pitch to fix a technical difficulty with the device on his arm. On his return, Nolito helps him strap the electronic device back on and the game can continue.
62'
Villar needlessly parries Coutinho's corner from the left, which will allow the visitors another chance from a set-piece that Messi will this time take.
60'
Nolito enters the game and replaces Gabri Veiga.
Santi Mina enters the game and replaces E. Mor.
Mor is switched out up front for Mina as Garcia looks to chase the game.
Veiga, who looked bright in the first half, is brought off for Nolito.
59'
Messi thinks he has added Barcelona's third by turning in a rebound after Coutinho's initial effort hit the left-hand post. However, the assistant has his flag up and disagrees. VAR has a quick check and sides with the officials, meaning the score remains at 2-0.
58'
Pique defends well to shelter Aspas away from a throughball which allows Neto to rush out and clear the danger just outside of his area.
57'
Celta haven't got close to their visitors yet this half which will disappoint Garcia, especially when considering their numerical advantage over Koeman's side.
53'
Suarez beats both Roberto and Messi before trying an ambitious right-footed pass with the outside of his boot and that will be easy for Pique to intercept.
51'
L. Olaza is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOALLLLL!!! 2-0 BARCA! Messi and Coutinho exchange a few passes before the former dances his way through Celta’s defence. Eventually, the Argentine reaches the byline and cuts a cross back which deflects off of Olaza and sneaks in at Villar's near post.
48'
N. Araújo gets yellow.
Roberto and Pique are fortunate to break Celta's press before Fati is brought down off the ball near the halfway line.

46'
Miguel Baeza enters the game and replaces J. Aidoo.
Both teams are back out and the referee gets the game back underway!
Aidoo, who was booked in the first half, is replaced at half-time by Baeza.
An early scare for Murillo as Messi nearly dispossesses the centre-back to run clean through. Luckily for Celta's defender, Messi's touch is too heavy and the ball runs in to the feet of Villar.
45' +4
HALF-TIME: CELTA VIGO 0-1 BARCELONA
45' +3
Messi invites Aidoo in to fouling him and the Barcelona players are furious as they feel Celta's man should be shown a second yellow card just like Lenglet was moments earlier.
45' +1
R. Araujo enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
Griezmann is the man to be sacrificed to shore up the defence and on comes Ronald Araujo in place of the French attacker.
There will be three minutes of added time as Koeman ponders what to change at the back for his side.
44'
The hosts' free-kick is poor in to the area and is hoofed away by Koeman's side. It will be interesting to see how the Dutch manager changes things here after Lenglet's needless red card.
42'
Piqué gets yellow.
C. Lenglet gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
Pique is booked for dissent following the sending off of his fellow centre-back.
RED CARD! A second yellow is shown to Lenglet for dragging back Suarez on the right and he is off!
Suarez knocks the ball past Lenglet and the French centre-back drags Celta's attacking midfielder back. The hosts will have a free-kick on the right and it could be far worse news for the visitors as Lenglet looks to be in trouble.
41'
Messi tries to cheekily catch Villar out with an inswinging corner which - luckily for Celta's goalkeeper - lands on the roof of the net.
39'
J. Aidoo gets yellow.
Aidoo is cautioned for tripping up Fati after the winger had raced away from him on the left wing.
37'
This game has lacked any real fluidity so far, which is perhaps best explained by the torrential rain that is falling down at Balaidos.
35'
The referee shows Pique a red card for dragging down Suarez before realising that Celta's midfielder was in an offside position. Barcelona have a free-kick outside of their own area but their Spanish centre-back looked a bit worried for a second there.
34'
Tapia looks to chip a pass over the top for Mor to run on to but the striker is already well offside and doesn't even make an attempt to chase it down.
32'
N. Araújo enters the game and replaces José Fontán.
Fontan has clearly picked up a knock after an earlier tackle with Busquets and despite receiving no treatment, he will be replaced by Araujo.
31'
Aspas gets in to a foot race with Lenglet and comes out on top before crossing straight in to the hands of Neto when attempting to find Mor at the back post.
30'
The visitors have won their last three away LaLiga games, a win here would make it four on the bounce on the road in the competition for the first time since January 2019 under Ernesto Valverde.
28'
Coutinho tries to set Messi free with a low pass between Mallo and Aidoo, however, the pass is overhit and possession returns to the feet of Villar in goal.

24'
Aspas wastes a good opportunity as he sends the free-kick straight in to the wall from 20 yards out.
23'
C. Lenglet gets yellow.
Lenglet clips Veiga's ankles as the midfielder spins past him on the edge of the area and is rightfully booked.
Aidoo plays a wonderful driven pass in to the feet of Veiga, who turns and looks to be through on goal before he is tripped by Lenglet. Celta will have a free-kick in a great position 20 yards out and Aspas stands over it.
21'
Messi's throughball is just too strong for Griezmann to run on to. The French international does manage to keep it in play, but Celta defend well in numbers and the chance of a dangerous attack is gone.
19'
De Jong and Alba press Celta's right-hand side to great effect, however, Mallo's pass just catches De Jong and the ball trickles out for a goal-kick.
17'
Fontan forces another save by Neto but this one is much more straightforward as the left-back's shot is driven straight at the visitors' goalkeeper.
14'
Busquets pleads his innocence after fouling Fontan near the left touchline. The referee is having none of it and awards the hosts a free-kick in a dangerous wide position.
12'
Fati's rapid turn of pace in the area for the goal left Aidoo with no chance. The second the centre-back got tight to Barcelona's winger, Fati had already turned and beaten his opposite man before producing an excellent finish.
11'
Ansu Fati has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Philippe Coutinho.
GOALLLLL!!! 1-0 BARCA! Coutinho stabs a pass through to Fati, who turns in the area before prodding in with the outside of his right boot in to the bottom left corner.

8'

6'
Messi spins past two Celta midfielders with a simple drop of the shoulder before playing a weak pass towards Griezmann which causes the attack to break down.
2'
Busquets gets a little lucky early on as De Jong's pass cannons off of his shin but falls safely to the feet of Pique at the back.
1'
Referee Carlos del Cerro Grande blows his whistle to signal the start of proceedings.

BARCELONA (4-2-3-1): Neto; Sergi Roberto, Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet, Jordi Alba; Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong; Ansu Fati, Phillipe Coutinho, Antoine Griezemann; Lionel Messi.
SUBS: Santiago Ramos, Arnau Tenas, Ousmane Dembele, Ronald Araujo, Carles Alena, Riqui Puig, Konrad De la Fuente, Martin Braithwaite, Trincao, Miralem Pjanic, Pedri, Inaki Pena.
The players are making their way on to the pitch at Balaidos and shortly the game will be underway.
Ronald Koeman enjoyed a dream start to life at Barcelona with a 4-0 thumping of Villarreal but Celta will be no pushovers here. The hosts are unbeaten in three, including a 2-1 victory over Valencia courtesy of an Iago Aspas double.
Looking ahead to the second half it will be interesting to see how the visitors attempt to manage this game. Aspas, Mor and Veiga in particular have caused Barcelona the most problems, although at the other end, any time Fati or Messi receive the ball it looks like an opportunity will open up.
After seven goals and two clean sheets, next Koeman and Barcelona face the difficult challenge of Sevilla at Camp Nou to maintain their perfect start. Meanwhile, Garcia's side will travel to Osasuna and it is hard not to assume that they will revert back to their four-man defence, following tonight's poor performance.
That is all from this LaLiga fixture between Celta and Barcelona, until next time!
