United meanwhile make a more defensive change, as Eriksen is replaced by England centre-back Harry Maguire.
81'
D. McNeil enters the game and replaces V. Mykolenko.
A. Gordon enters the game and replaces S. Coleman.
Mykolenko is also brought off, with the left-back replaced by Dwight McNeil as Frank Lampard looks to throw men forward.
Toffees captain Coleman is the next played brought off, and youngster Anthony Gordon will look to create something for his side in the final stages.
80'
The ruling out of Everton's well-worked equaliser-to-be hasn't dampened the Toffees' desire to get something from this game, with the visitors finding a second wave of intensity as we approach the final 10 minutes.
78'
Mykolenko finds Gueye occupying acres of space in the centre, and the Senegalese midfielder shoots from 30 yards, but it's a poor effort that loops well over the bar and behind for a goal kick.
76'
Lisandro Martínez enters the game and replaces T. Malacia.
That foul proves to be Malacia's final contribution, as he's replaced by recent World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez, in a change that will likely see Shaw return to his natural left-back position.
75'
A threatening United chance is cut out by Coady, who has the ball on the edge of the box before being dispossessed by Malacia. It's a wild studs-up challenge from the Dutch full-back though, and the referee isn't happy with it one bit.
72'
A long ball is aimed towards Calvert-Lewin, who is surrounded by red shirts, but De Gea, for some reason, comes out of his box to pass wide to Malacia, despite his defenders having it covered!
71'
Fred enters the game and replaces Casemiro.
A. Garnacho enters the game and replaces A. Martial.
United also make changes, the first of which sees Casemiro switch places with his Brazil international teammate Fred.
Martial also comes off having gone close on a couple of occasions, and Alejandro Garnacho will enter the fray, moving Rashford into a centre-forward position.
69'
D. Calvert-Lewin enters the game and replaces N. Maupay.
Maupay comes off in Everton's second change of the match, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin will replace the Frenchman up front.

62'
United come forward and Eriksen flicks a ball onto Fernandes, who bursts into the box. He lays it off to Antony, who is dispossessed, and Mykolenko is eventually able to win the Toffees a throw-in.
61'
B. Godfrey gets yellow.
Malacia clears a ball into the United box and Rashford recovers it, but he's caught late by Godfrey, who is shown a yellow card by the referee.
60'
Dalot's cross is blocked behind by Gueye for the first corner of the second half, but Shaw's ball is over the heads of everyone and Everton look to counter.
52'
C. Coady is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOOAALLL!!! It's an own goal!!! Mercurial footwork from Rashford sees him beat two Toffees defenders in the box before drilling the ball across the face. Coady looks to cut it out, but the ball hits the bottom of his foot and beats Pickford to nestle in the back of the net! That's the second goal Coady has scored, but sadly this one was past his own goalkeeper and gifts United a 2-1 lead!
51'
A. Doucouré enters the game and replaces A. Iwobi.
As Iwobi is stretchered off, Abdoulaye Doucoure comes on in midfield in the Everton man's place.
50'
The stretcher comes on to take Iwobi off the field, meaning it looks like quite a significant injury for the Nigerian international.
48'
Despite the tackle being textbook from Malacia, Iwobi has picked up an injury, and it's looking increasingly likely that he'll need to come off.
46'
Fernandes kicks off for United, and the second half is off and running at Old Trafford!
United pile numbers forward early on looking to create a chance, but Casemiro loses the ball on the edge of Everton's box, and the Toffees counter. Iwobi wins the ball and races down the right flank, but a brilliant sliding tackle from Malacia in cover skews the ball out over the touchline.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: MANCHESTER UNITED 1-1 EVERTON.
Shaw and Eriksen both whip teasing crosses into the Everton box, but both are met by strong defensive headers from Tarkowski and Godfrey respectively to clear.
45'
We'll play two minutes of added time to close out this first half at Old Trafford.
44'
United keep the ball well on the edge of the Everton box and have options aplenty both inside and outside the area. Varane has the ball 20 yards from goal, and feigns shooting before passing to Dalot, but it's intercepted by Mykolenko and the chance dissipates.
42'
Gray wins the ball down the left and sets off on a mazy run in-field. He beats three Red Devils players on his way, but his final pass to Onana running through is poor, and the hosts easily cut it out.
39'
Coleman ghosts in behind Malacia and looks to latch onto a throughball from Iwobi, but he's flagged for offside as the ball rolls into the gloves of De Gea.
37'
Varane moves into an attacking position and skilfully gets past Gueye down the right. He passes back to Casemiro, but his ball to Martial is poor and the Toffees clear.
34'
Everton flood forward in numbers and Gray fires it wide to Mykolenko, but with blue shirts queuing up in the box, the left-back's cross floats over everyone and Gueye is dispossessed, allowing United to break!
30'
Rashford is crowded out by Godfrey and Coleman down the left-hand side, but is able to get the ball away to Casemiro in the centre. He fires a cross-field pass into the box for Dalot to chase, but the full-back can't get there before the ball flies behind.
28'
Bruno Fernandes gets yellow.
Onana dispossesses Fernandes in the far corner, but is caught from behind by the Red Devils captain, who becomes the first player to be booked in this game.
27'
Rashford and Godfrey clash on the far touchline, which sparks a fracas including several of their teammates that is eventually brought to a halt by the referee.
25'
Tarkowski looks to pick out Mykolenko with a throughball to the edge of the box, but his pass is overhit and goes behind for a goal kick.
21'
Onana loses the ball before being clipped late by Casemiro near his own box, and the Everton midfielder is down receiving treatment.
14'
C. Coady has scored a goal for Everton!
GOOOAAALLLL!!! A bizarre equaliser for Everton!! From the corner, the ball is headed clear, but Onana turns his man on the edge of the box before feeding Maupay. He hooks the ball back from the tightest of angles, and De Gea, looking to save it with his feet, lets the ball squirm through his legs and Coady pokes it home! A strange, strange way to score a goal, but Everton won't care in the slightest as they lock the scores up at 1-1!
11'
Casemiro's cross-field pass finds Rashford, who dribbles into the box looking for shooting space. He tees up Eriksen, whose shot is blocked, and the rebound comes back to Casemiro who fires a dipping volley wide of the mark!
8'
Fernandes flicks a De Gea kick wide to Antony, who bursts down the right flank untouched. He cuts inside and looks to square for Rashford, but it's cut out and cleared by Everton before the United winger can get there.
4'
Antony has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by M. Rashford.
Godfrey showed Rashford an inch, and the England forward took a mile, darting down the left edge before picking out his opposite wingman with a ball threaded through the eye of a needle!
GOOOOOAAALLL!!! That didn't take long!!! Rashford surges down the left and skips past Godfrey before drilling the ball across the face from the byline. The ball evades Pickford and two Everton defenders, and Antony is left unmarked at the back post to tap it into the unguarded net!! Too easy for the hosts, and United lead 1-0 after just four minutes!
3'
Martial wins a good header and Rashford has the ball in the box, but he's dispossessed by Godfrey before he can pick a pass or shot and Everton counter.
1'

MANCHESTER UNITED (4-2-3-1): David de Gea; Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia; Casemiro, Christian Eriksen; Antony, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Anthony Martial.
Everton meanwhile have restarted their season in a much poorer fashion, suffering home losses to Wolves and Brighton and Hove Albion either side of a draw with Manchester City. In the EFL Cup, they snuck past Fleetwood before being smashed 4-1 by Bournemouth in the third round, so will be hoping for a better result at the same stage of the FA Cup.
United’s form since returning from the World Cup break has been sensational, winning three games on the bounce without conceding a goal. They’ve also had success in their other cup run so far this season, winning both of their games in the EFL Cup so far to set up a quarter-final tie against League One side Charlton Athletic.
The teams head out onto the pitch, and we're not far from kick-off at Old Trafford!
The teams return to the pitch for the second half, and will either of these sides be able to win this game within the 90 minutes, or are we set for a replay?
That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until the next one, goodbye!
That 3-1 victory means United progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup at Everton's expense. The Toffees may be thankful that they can now fully focus on their fight for Premier League survival, but it's another defeat for a side still yet to win since the World Cup. The Red Devils will advance though, continuing their rich vein of post-Qatar form, and Erik Ten Hag will be confident that his side can go all the way as they bid for silverware in the Dutchman's first season at the helm.
