Pogba has endured a torrid time since returning to Turin following his stint with Manchester United. An equaliser here would be an ideal way to kick-start his second spell with Juve.
83'
P. Pogba enters the game and replaces L. Paredes.
Juventus are making their final substitution. Can Paul Pogba rescue them? He is on for Paredes in midfield.
82'

78'
N. Zortea enters the game and replaces N. Bajrami.
E. Ceïde enters the game and replaces A. Laurienté.
Zortea, meanwhile, is on for the ever-threatening Bajrami.
Sassuolo make two changes. Ceide replaces Lauriente, who has been quiet in the Neroverdi frontline.
77'
Juventus have created several huge chances to level since bringing on Chiesa, who has been central to everything good for Allegri's men. Is their improvement too little, too late, however?
73'
Consigli flaps at the corner under pressure, but Juve are unable to get the shot away. Chiesa comes again, and his cross deflects behind for another set-piece. This is much better from the visitors.
72'
Danger! Cuadrado keeps a deep cross alive in acrobatic fashion, but Vlahovic's flicked header finds Consigli's gloves in a crowded penalty area. Chiesa then tears down the left to win a corner as Juve continue to press.
71'
Dionisi makes his second change. Harroui replaces Henrique in the engine room.
70'
A. Harroui enters the game and replaces Matheus Henrique.

69'
The Juventus substitutions also mean a change of shape, with Di Maria and Chiesa flanking Vlahovic in a 3-4-3 system and Rabiot and Paredes anchoring the midfield. Sassuolo can drop off and look to hold what they have now!

F. Miretti enters the game and replaces N. Fagioli.
Miretti is also on, replacing fellow youngster Fagioli.
Allegri introduces Chiesa following the goal, withdrawing Kostic.
65'
Fagioli may have been at fault for the goal, failing to clear and allowing the ball to bobble through to Defrel. Juve can have absolutely no complaints about the scoreline, however, Sassuolo had been knocking on the door for some time!
64'
G. Defrel has scored a goal for Sassuolo!
GOAAAAAAAL! SASSUOLO FINALLY FIND A WAY THROUGH! It's the substitute Defrel! Juve fail to clear from yet another Sassuolo corner, and Defrel is able to swivel on the ball 15 yards out, sending an instinctive volley under Perin's dive and into the bottom-right corner! 1-0 to the hosts!
61'
Juve are playing with far more intensity and urgency following Di Maria's introduction. The World Cup winner pokes a cute ball through for Vlahovic, but Sassuolo recover to get men back and snuff out the danger.
57'
J. Cuadrado enters the game and replaces T. Barbieri.
Á. Di María enters the game and replaces A. Milik.
Allegri responds to those chances by turning to his bench. Barbieri has enjoyed a lively league debut, but he will be replaced at right wing-back by Cuadrado.
Di Maria, meanwhile, is on for Milik in the Juve attack.
54'
Over! The corner finds its way to Frattesi, who swings wildly and sends a poor attempt comfortably over the bar. Both teams have lacked conviction in the final third so far.

45' +1
HALF-TIME: SASSUOLO 0-0 JUVENTUS
45'
We're about to find out how much stoppage time we will have before the break, but given the uneventful nature of this opening period, you suspect it won't be much…
44'
Paredes finds Milik with a searching cross-field pass, but strike partner Vlahovic is the only man supporting the Poland international, and his left-footed cross is blocked.
42'
Rabiot does well to keep a loose ball in play, only for Kostic to lose possession and set Sassuolo on the attack. Rogerio delivers a menacing cross, but it bounces over Pinamonti's head.
40'
Danilo shows his strength to win an aerial duel with Pinamonti from Rogerio's left-wing cross. Like Juve, Sassuolo have struggled to get their centre-forward involved.
38'
Barbieri has been heavily involved on his Serie A debut. He wins a corner which is met by Bremer, but Consigli rushes from his goal line to punch clear under pressure.
37'
Rabiot gets Juve moving and Barbieri looks to angle a low pass into Vlahovic, only for Erlic to cut it out. The Bianconeri's front two have looked isolated thus far.
32'
We're past the half-hour mark here as Paredes slides in to cut out a slick Sassuolo move. Other than some decent spells in possession, Juve have not offered much and the hosts have looked the more likely scorers in a tight affair.
29'
Barbieri goes up the other end and wins a corner for Juve as the game opens up. Bremer is first to the delivery, but it flicks over via a deflection to give the visitors another chance.
27'
Side-netting! The corner is worked short once again and Frattesi hammers a shot towards the near post from a narrow angle. His attempt has plenty of power, but the direction is just off and it flashes off-target.
26'
Gatti concedes a free-kick on the Sassuolo left, which is fired dangerously towards the far post. Danilo flicks it behind, and the hosts have a corner – this is a good spell for Sassuolo.
25'
Good chance squandered by Sassuolo! The Neroverdi work a four-on-three situation as Frattesi is given options left and right. He goes left, and Lauriente blazes a terrible cross behind.
24'
Kostic tries to thread Vlahovic in behind in the left channel, but Consigli is on hand to mop it up.
22'
That's a real warning for Juve, who are yet to muster a threatening attack of their own. Had injured Italy international Berardi been granted that chance, the visitors would likely be a goal down.
20'
Barbieri is unable to catch a long ball angled in behind. His inclusion continues Allegri's policy of blooding young Italian players this term, with Fagioli starting in an advanced midfield role here and Miretti on the bench.
18'
Toljan gets to the byline and crosses against a Juve defender to win a corner. The set-piece is worked short, but a poor pass back to taker Bajrami is easily intercepted.
17'
It's been a low-key start here, with neither goalkeeper being worked in the early exchanges. Sassuolo are being patient in their build-up, while Juve are more content to hit the strike duo of Vlahovic and Milik early.
13'
Juventus are managing to retain possession better now, with Paredes dropping deep in front of the back three. Barbieri attempts to release Vlahovic in behind, but his pass runs too long and is gathered by Consigli.
11'
Kostic sets himself and delivers from a deep position on the left flank, but Ruan gets up to head the cross away with Vlahovic lurking. Kostic then shoots from the edge of the area but sees his attempt blocked at close quarters.
9'
Sassuolo have had a reputation for playing enterprising football since the reign of current Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi, and they have started this game on the front foot. Juve look content to soak up the pressure, having switched to a 3-5-2 system.
8'
Debutant Barbieri thinks he has won a corner for Juve, following up on a long ball forwards to battle with Rogerio. However, the linesman rules the Bianconeri youngster got the last touch, and Sassuolo get a goal-kick.
6'
A loose pass briefly lets Bajrami in on the right-hand side of Juve's area, but the wideman is unable to beat Bremer with his low delivery.
4'
Lopez gets Sassuolo moving with a ball to Bajrami on the right, but the Sassuolo man sees his low cross hammered away inside the six-yard box. The hosts have been bright in these early moments, however.
3'
Milik finds Vlahovic with a lofted pass over the top, but the Serbia striker just fails to hold the ball up near the touchline, and the Neroverdi win a throw-in.
2'
Sassuolo start quickly as Frattesi is fouled by Danilo in midfield, allowing the hosts to retain possession with a free-kick.
1'
Juventus – kitted out in bright pink – get the ball rolling, looking to move within six points of the top four.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Serie A contest as Juventus travel to Sassuolo!
Juventus are looking to bounce back from last week's 2-1 defeat at Lazio as they continue their bid to break into Serie A's European qualification places. Despite suffering a 15-point deduction, the Bianconeri begin this game just nine points adrift of the top-four – with a game in hand – after seeing both Milan clubs slip up on Saturday.
Sassuolo, meanwhile, have been one of Italy's form teams since the end of January, though they saw a run of five league matches without defeat (W4 D1) halted by Hellas Verona last week. Alessio Dionisi's side would climb into the top half – and reach the 40-point mark – if they can cause an upset at the Mapei Stadium.
SASSUOLO (4-3-3): Andrea Consigli; Jeremy Toljan, Martin Erlic, Ruan Tressoldi, Rogerio; Matheus Henrique, Maxime Lopez, Davide Frattesi; Nedim Bajrami, Andrea Pinamonti, Armand Lauriente.
SASSUOLO SUBS: Gianluca Pegolo, Alessandro Russo, Riccardo Marchizza, Abdou Harroui, Agustin Alvarez Martinez, Gian Marco Ferrari, Pedro Obiang, Emil Ceide, Filippo Romagna, Nadir Zortea, Luca D'Andrea, Kristian Thorstvedt, Gregoire Defrel.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Wojciech Szczesny, Carlo Pinsoglio, Manuel Locatelli, Federico Chiesa, Paul Pogba, Juan Cuadrado, Leonardo Bonucci, Fabio Miretti, Angel Di Maria, Daniele Rugani, Matias Soule, Samuel Iling-Junior.
Vlahovic has shown no signs of providing an end to his two-month wait for a league goal, with Juventus failing to adequately support their strike duo. With the creativity of Pogba, Di Maria and Chiesa on the bench, it is surely just a matter of time before Allegri rings the changes.
Juventus improved immeasurably after the introductions of Di Maria and Chiesa, but it wasn't enough! While Allegri's team could yet win the Europa League and are looking to fight their 15-point deduction, they had a great chance to put more pressure on Roma, Milan, Inter and Atalanta with a victory here. Instead, they stay seventh, nine points adrift of fourth. Sassuolo are into the top half with a fifth win in seven matches.
We hope you've enjoyed our coverage of this Serie A upset. It's goodbye for now, and we hope to see you next time!
