Three minutes is added by the official and a collective groan comes from the mouth of every Scotland fan watching tonight. Having lost in such a miserable manner, Strachan must be fearing for his position as head coach, surely?
88'
Two minutes to go in normal time and the referee will surely not attempt to add on a significant amount of stoppage time as neither side really want to keep going longer than they need to. Slovakia are happy to take the three points, while Scotland are happy to hop on the flight home as soon as possible.
87'
F. Kiss enters the game and replaces M. Hamšík.
86'
Third and final change from Jan Kozak here as he wastes some more valuable seconds before the full-time whistle is greeted with cheers from the Slovakian dugout. Entering the action is Filip Kiss, who actually formely played in Scotland with Ross County, and he will replace Hamsik.
84'
Scotland, now, seem relatively content to just play the ball around at the back without much thought to the scoreline or the situation. There is being composed at the back, and then there is simply showing a complete lack of ambition, and it has unfortunately been the latter for the Tartan Army tonight.
82'
The match is being played at walking pace here as Slovakia professionally see out the remaining minutes with ease in their passing. Anya and Tierney, typically, are still trying to offer something going forward for Scotland, but nothing has came to fruition as of yet.
81'
D. Švento enters the game and replaces R. Mak.
80'
Another change for Slovakia. Leaving the pitch is two-goal hero, Robert Mak, who receives a standing ovation from the home crowd as he is replaced by Dusan Svento, who is no stranger to the set-up for his international side, having notched up plenty of caps in his time.
78'
Griffiths has managed to test the goalkeeper in his short 13-minute spell on the pitch that Steven Fletcher managed since featuring from the start. This time, the substitute, pops up on the right channel to take on the defender before rifling a strike at the near post, only to be thwarted by Kozacik between the sticks.
76'
J. McGinn enters the game and replaces S. Fletcher.
JUST WIDE FROM GRIFFITHS! Two Scotland substitutes combine here as McGinn moves into a decent area in midfield before threading a lovely pass in behind the defence for his team-mate. The Celtic striker latches on to it with an assured first touch but only then succeeds in firing a low strike wide of the post. Unlucky in the end.

Description
75'
Third and final change from the Scots now and it will see John McGinn enter the action to replace Steven Fletcher, which is actually a defensive move. Clearly the aim now is to not concede anymore goals which will subsquently affect the goal difference in the table.
73'
Scotland look out on their feet now and seem to be begging to hear that full-time whistle, much like they have been doing since the third went in. The first half performance actually looked pretty positive, but since the break they have capitulated rather embarrassingly. It doesn't portray Strachan in a particularly positive light...
71'
Twenty minutes to go in this harrowing World Cup qualifier for Scotland and it is Slovakia who are really starting to enjoy themselves out there now. Hamsik in particular is really turning on the style, but he isn't coming up against much opposition to be honest.
69'
M. Bakoš enters the game and replaces A. Nemec.
Nemec receives a lovely gift from his manager after scoring the third and decisive goal, and that is to be substituted in favour of Marek Bakos.
68'
A. Nemec has scored a goal for Slovakia! Assist by R. Mak.
Two goals and an assist so far for Mak.
GOOOOOAAAALLLL FOR SLOVAKIA! Three for the hosts now and that looks like game over, and in simple fashion! Mak is the provider this time as he turns a corner-kick into the box from the left wing which is easily glanced hoe by Nemec, who effortlessly gets above Hanley. Three-nil!
65'
The second switch from Scotland sees the introduction of Leigh Griffiths, who some Scotland fans were campaigning to start the match tonight. He will replace Darren Fletcher, which will mean he will go up top in a 4-4-2 alongside Steven Fletcher.
64'
I. Anya enters the game and replaces M. Ritchie.
L. Griffiths enters the game and replaces D. Fletcher.
Scotland indeed do make their opening two substitutions of the match, and it is a double change from Strachan. The first alteration will see the disappointing Ritchie replaced by Ikechi Anya, who will be deployed on that left wing.
62'
Slovakia had previously failed to score in four matches, totalling seven hours, before tonight's encounter but thanks to this dire Scotland defence they have stopped the rot, and there is still plenty of time to add even more. Surely Strachan must be thinking about making some changes now?
60'
Darren Fletcher is having a total nightmare for Scotland in those central areas and actually looks completely unable to pick out a pass from six feet, never mind one threaded through for a goalscoring chance. His latest mistake also comes in a really dangerous area and the captain of the visitors is lucky he isn't punished.
58'
Well, that is potentially extremely damaging to Scotland who were just looking like they might create something for an equaliser. One point out of a possible six against Lithuania and Slovakia is not good enough for a side who want to play in international competitions, and even a draw, if they someone salvage it, will be a poor result.
56'
R. Mak has scored a goal for Slovakia! Assist by J. Holúbek.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLL FOR SLOVAKIA! A lovely move from the hosts for the second! Hamsik is given all the time in the world inside the left channel to pick out a neat pass to the byline for the overlapping Holubek, who in turn reverses back inside for Mak. The opening goalscorer bags a second with a composed touch past the despairing Martin before coolly finishing into the left corner! Two-nil.
Great support from left-back from Holubek to set up the second.
54'
Scotland's passing has been utterly horrendous in the past five minutes or so as two or three times in that time thay have failed to capitalise on a counter-attack with plenty of men commited forward. The two guilty parties were, funnily enough, the two Fletchers, Steven and Darren.
52'
Snodgrass is usually a willing defensive winger for his side, but tonight he has been desperately poor in his tracking back. The Hull man was part at fault for the opening goal and this time also fails to match the run of the onrushing Sabo who hits the byline before seeing his cross blocked by Darren Fletcher.
50'
A small penalty appeal for Scotland this time as Paterson flings a long-throw deep into the penalty area. The ball may have came off the hand of a Slovakian during an aerial duel, but the protests more come from the Tartan Army behind the goal that the Scotland players themselves, as the referee fails to point to the spot.
48'
Strachan will certainly have been tempted to make some changes at the break with Scotland not really firing on all cylinders in the opening 45 minutes. However, the starting XI continues, for the moment at least...
46'
We are back under way in this Group F qualifier! Can Scotland find inspiration from anywhere?
44'
Scotland need to keep the ball on the deck a little bit more as in the last few minutes they have simply resorted to long balls up top to Steven Fletcher, who is being dealt with fairly comfortably by Skrtel and Durica.
42'
This is a great period in the match from Slovakia, and actually their best up until now despite taking the lead 18 minutes in. Scotland are on the ropes as they are forced to rely on their goalkeeper, Marshall, to keep the scoreline down before the half-time break.
40'
DOUBLE SAVE FROM MARSHALL! Initially, Mak goes for his second goal of the match with a driven strike towards the top right corner which is blocked behind for a corner by the keeper. From the resulting set-piece, the Scot is called into action again, but AGAIN saves his nation with a superb save down to his left!
38'
It seems strange to say considering this is his first competitive international match at senior level, but Scotland are having to rely on the inexperienced Tierney to pose a threat to Slovakia here. All of the danger for the home side is coming down that left wing and the young Celtic star.
36'
A dodgy moment at the back from Kozacik as the Slovakia goalkeeper worryingly flaps at a cross coming in from the left byline. Luckily for the home side, there are no Scottish players waiting to pounce on the opportunity to smash into an empty net.
34'
Fletcher swings possession out to the left wing so Tierney can have another run at this Slovakia defence. The Celtic defender reverts back inside with another low pass, this time McArthur being his target, but ball is just behind the latter and Ritchie can't even pick up the loose possession.
32'
As mentioned at the start of play, we are likely going to be seeing some fairly meaty challenges tonight. This has proved to be the case, however they are basically all coming from Slovakia who are determined to knock the Scots off their tempo by commiting as many niggling fouls as possible. The referee could be doing a little bit more to punish the hosts.
30'
Tierney is involved in the action positively again for Scotland as he takes on Sabo at right-back before clipping a cross to the back post for McArthur. The Crystal Palace man, who proved to be the saviour with the late goal against Lithuania on Saturday, can't turn a header on target, though.
28'
That goal from Mak has given Slovakia something to hold on to here, and as such they have started to retreat deeper into defensive positions. Perhaps not the best tactic at this time as Scotland are growing in confidence with each venture forward, particularly through Tierney on the left.
26'
Scotland are awarded a free-kick in a useful position around 30 yards out down the right channel. Bannan stands over it, but it is highly disappointing from the visitors as Ritchie is teed up for the strike only to smash an attempt straight into the wall, which pouned as soon as the ball was in open play. Poor.
24'
Just beyond the midway point of the first half now and Scotland can probably be relatively content with their performance so far despite being a goal down. They have by no means played poorly and have actually posed a decent threat in the final third, but they need to pull up their sleeves and claw themselves back into contention now.
22'
Tierney, who has been a real bright spark for the Scots so far, gets down the left on the overlap once again before reversing a teasing cross back into the box towards the penalty spot. Bannan strives to get on the end of it but is just beaten to the punch by the retreating Holubek, who intercepts.
20'
Scotland have responded rather positively to going a goal behind, and their play now may be born out of anger with the referee for failing to award that foul on the lead up to the goal. By the way, that was the first time Slovakia have managed to find the net in this qualifying campaign.
18'
R. Mak has scored a goal for Slovakia!
GOOOOAAAAALLL FOR SLOVAKIA! From one and to the other for the hosts! Moments after the referee fails to award a free-kick to Scotland, a ball is whipped to the back post by Holubek for Hamsik, who recycles back into the box with a header which is saved. However, it is a poor clearance from Marshall which allows Mak to meet a superb volley into the roof of the net! One-nil.
17'
Gordon Strachan is beside himself with anger in the dugout as the referee fails to punish Durica for what appears to be a clear block on Fletcher as the Scotland striker was moving through on goal.
15'
E. Sabo gets yellow.
First yellow card of the match and it is an early one for Sabo, who needlessly takes out Bannan on the left wing.
14'
SAVE FROM MARSHALL! Durica takes advantage of some space ahead of him to move into midfield completely unopposed before having a crack on goal from all of 35 yards. It moves and bounces in the air which makes it difficult for the Scotland goalkeeper, who eventually palms wide of goal without much incident.
12'
FLETCHER SHOULD BE DOING BETTER! Snodgrass, who has received some criticism for his performance against Lithuania on Saturday, attemps to make amends early on here tonight with a peach of a cross in behind the Slovakia defence for his compatriot. However, the Sheffield Wednesday attacker miscues his header, which goes disappointingly wide.
10'
Paterson, who is another inexperienced young full-back for Scotland, shows some youthful exuberance on the right flank with a penetrating dribble into the final third. The Hearts defender flashes a cross to the front post, but Skrtel makes no mistake with his clearance and puts his foot through the ball.
8'
Sabo moves into space down the right-hand side and links up well with Duris before attempting to burst into the penalty area. Tierney and Hanley eventually combine to dispossess the right-back, though, which in turns sees Scotland on their way up the pitch away from danger.
6'
Tierney, who makes his first competitive start for Scotland tonight, gets into an advanced area and then flicks possession back into the feet of Bannan. A cross is subsequently curled ominously to the back post for Fletcher, but Durica is positioned well to make the interception.
4'
There is no doubt as to who Slovakia's main man will be in this fixture, and that is Hamsik. The Napoli man actually hasn't missed an international clash for his nation in three years, rather incredibly, so he will be the man tasked with the creative inspiration in those central areas in the final third.
2'
We are only a couple of minutes into this clash, but already the battling spirit is on display as Duris goes in heavily on McArthur inside the centre circle. A foul is given and there was certainly no malice in the challenge, but with quite a lot riding on the three points tonight that won't be the last crunching tackle we see.

We are under way in this World Cup qualifying crunch match!
Good evening football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the World Cup Qualifying Group F clash between Slovakia and Scotland from Stadion Antona Malatinskeho in Trnava.
Gordon Strachan's charges are currently positioned second in Group F with four points taken from their opening two matches, with only England ahead with a 100% record. However, even at this early stage their campaign hit a snag on Saturday evening when they were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw in an extremely dour encounter against Lithuania at Hampden. The lack of victory claimed, and the poor performance to go with it, means that the pressure has been heaped on the Tartan Army to gain a more positive result tonight.
TEAM NEWS...
Slovakia, meanwhile, have endured a dire beginning to their qualifying campaign and have recorded zero points so far – the same as group minnows, Malta. These disappointing results have came alongside of four matches without even finding the back of the net, and as such Jan Kozak finds himself under similar pressure to Strachan. The Slovak head coach has claimed in the past few days that his side MUST win this match to still harbour World Cup hopes.
We are witnessing a little bit of history tonight as this is actually the first time ever that Slovakia have met Scotland in competitive action. Going by recent form, the Scots have certainly had the better time of it than their opponents tonight and have lost just two of their last 11 qualifying matches, while also winning three of their last four away from home. The Slovaks have yet to score in this campaign, meanwhile.
Scotland (4-3-3): Marshall; Paterson, Martin, Hanley, Tierney; Bannan, D. Fletcher, McArthur; Snodgrass, S. Fletcher, Ritchie.
The teams are making their way to the pitch and we are almost ready for some inspirational renditions of the respective national anthems!
Half time in Trnava. It has certainly not been a classic between Slovakia and Scotland so far as the home side go into the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to a cracking finish from Mak. Gordon Strachan and his charges will feel aggrieved about a foul that should have been given in the build up to the opener, but they will still need to improve greatly if they are to get anything from this. Second period to come.
Full time in this Group F clash. Slovakia record their first win of World Cup qualifying at the expense of Scotland in a comfortable 3-0 win with two strikes from Mak and a second-half header Nemec sealing the vital three points. Gordon Strachan's charges have been desperately poor on the night and criticisms will be aimed at the players as well as the manager tomorrow in the papers. It has not been good enough from the Scots, but Slovakia can be content with their peformance. Thanks for joining us, see you next time!
