Tony Pulis' men seem to have weathered the storm a little here. Crouch is withdrawn and receives a standing ovation, Kenwyn Jones comes on in his stead.

69'
It is just isn't QPR's day, Taarabt pulls the ball back for Granero, who hits the ball towards the top corner but sees his effort brilliantly saved by Asmir Begovic. The goal the Rs so desperately need just isn't forthcoming.
66'
S. Nzonzi gets yellow.
Taarabt is felled on the edge of the area, but Granero wastes a free kick in a good position, curling the ball well wide of the mark.
63'
Samba Diakite breaks into the box but Andy Wilkinson produces a superb tackle to put the ball out for a corner. Expertly timed from the Stoke defender.
61'
Mark Hughes must be really frustrated, Faurlin, Hoilett and Esteban Granero are all finding room to run in the middle of the park, but his troops just can't find the killer touch.
58'
Another chance for Adel Taarabt, Hoilett breaks down the left, but his near-post cross is blocked, the ball breaks to the Moroccan who jinks past a couple of defenders inside the box before stabbing a shot just wide of the post.

The deadlock has finally been broken and it's Stoke who take the lead through Charlie Adam! The Scotsman nets his first goal for a year, volleying home from close range after Walters had flicked a Robert Huth free kick into his path. Elation at the Britannia.
48'
It's been a bright start to the second half from Stoke, they are harrying QPR in midfield and have the visitors backed up in their own half as a result.
46'
Stoke get the second half underway.
45' +1
S. Diakité gets yellow.
Matthew Etherington whips in a free kick which is easily gathered by Cesar. That should end a poor first half of football.
43'
Massive opportunity for the visitors! Stoke sloppily give the ball away to Cisse, who plays in Junior Hoilett, the former Blackburn man checks his run and squares in to Adel Taarabt, however the Moroccan horribly scuffs his shot when it looked easier to score.

31'
Still little happening in terms of goal-mouth action so far in this one. Not a game for the purist.
28'
If points were awarded for how much possession you have, QPR would have this one wrapped up, unfortunately for them they aren't and the West Londoners, despite their dominance, are finding it difficult to find a breakthrough.
25'
Charlie Adam misplaces a pass intended for Peter Crouch, the fans reacted with fierce booing. It really is an uncomfortable atmosphere at the moment.
23'
Precious little has been created by either side so far, it isn't difficult to see why these two teams are currently marooned in the lower reaches of the table.

Alejandro Faurlin slices a long range effort well wide of the goal. It's all a bit uneventful at the Britannia so far.
17'
The home fans are beginning to get irritated here, Stoke just haven't got going and Tony Pulis will rightly be worried by his team's sub-par start.
14'
Mark Hughes should be very pleased with how his side have started, QPR haven't created any real chances, but they are playing some really nice stuff and have the Potters penned in their own half.

Very little happening so far at the Britannia, the home fans are unusually quiet.
3'
Decent start from QPR here, they are enjoying most of the possession, and Jose Bosingwa has flashed a shot over from distance.

The teams have perfectly observed the minutes silence in respect of Remembrance Sunday and we are underway.
Good afternoon and welcome to Goal.com's live coverage of Stoke's clash with QPR. Mark Hughes' men are still waiting for their first win and will need to be on top form if they are to take maximum points from the Britannia Stadium.
Subs: Green, Derry, Hill, Wright-Phillips, Mackie, Onuoha, Zamora.
The teams have emerged from the tunnel and we are just minutes away from kick-off.
The referre mercilessly blows for the interval. Both sides have had gilt-edged chances to score but in truth it has been a dour half. Stoke improved in the latter stages of the period, but the Potters will need to perform much better after the break if they are to emerge successful.
The referee blows his whistle to signal the end of another disappointing afternoon for Mark Hughes' QPR side. The big spending Londoners remain winless this season, and one wonders just how patient the club's hierarchy can be.
So that's it from me on a successful day for Tony Pulis and Stoke City, the Potters will be thankful for a win which gives them some breathing space and moves them away from those in the bottom three. QPR's miserable start to the season goes on. This is Nicholas McGee, signing off!
