WHAT A CHANCE! Barcelona's unbeaten run so close to coming to an end. Boye beats the offside trap, bursts through on oal but makes a mess of his finish as he elects to cut back onto his right, then striking at ter Stegen. How many chances will they miss tonight!?
88'
Jonny gets yellow.
Another Celta yellow card, with Jonny penalised for clattering into Vermaelen. It's a tad harsh though, as the Celta defender got to the ball first. He'll miss the game against Valencia this weekend as a result.
86'
Now then, there's questions as to whether Aspas handled the ball for his equaliser. It clearly hits the arm of the Spain international but, as it was punched by ter Stegen and then deflected off the waist of the striker, it would certainly be a bold decision to chalk that off.
83'
L. Boyé enters the game and replaces Brais Méndez.
Final change of the game for the hosts, who introduce Lucas Boye in place of Brais Mendez.
82'
Iago Aspas has scored a goal for Celta Vigo!
The chances are stacking up for Celta, with Radoja firing a shot straight at ter Stegen from outside the box. The hosts are piling on the pressure and Barcelona certainly have a stern test ahead of them for the final minutes.
GOAL! Aspas gets his goal! Mor whips an inviting cross to the near post, where ter Stegen can only punch the ball onto the Spain World Cup hopeful for his 20th LaLiga goal of the season.
80'
Almost the perfect impact from Mor! Aspas cuts it back to his attacking colleague, who smashes into the side netting. Another chance goes begging for the hosts.
79'
E. Mor enters the game and replaces P. Sisto.
Now it's Celta's time to make another change, as Sisto is replaced for the final moments by Turkey international Emre Mor.
78'
Aleix Vidal enters the game and replaces O. Dembélé.
D. Wass gets yellow.
Yellow card for Wass, who clatters into Digne with a rash challenge and has his name taken.
Third and final change for Barcelona, as Dembele is replaced by Aleix Vidal.
75'
A massive final 15 minutes ahead for Celta Vigo, who need at least an equaliser to keep their hopes of Europa League football next season alive.
Minute
Description
73'
N. Radoja enters the game and replaces Jozabed.
Celta respond by making their first change of the game, replacing Jozabed with Radoja.
72'
CLOSE! So close! Aspas was always going to be the man to strike for goal and he curls just over the crossbar, with ter Stegen flatfooted and beaten.
71'
Sergi Roberto goes off after a red card!
RED CARD! What a bizarre decision and rash challenge from Sergi Roberto. Celta Vigo nick possession, Aspas surges through and Roberto almost rugby tackles his compatriot. A deserved red card and a chance for the hosts to turn the game around.
69'
Heading back to Barcelona's second goal, I do think Alcacer was just onside and just got a toe to the ball. I'm sure it will be analysed again and again though.
68'
It doesn't look like Barcelona's unbeaten run will come to an evening tonight but there is still a huge chance for Celta Vigo to snatch a point.
66'
Tough one for Celta Vigo to swallow and I can point back to a hatful of huge chances that they've missed throughout this game. Clearly a lesson to learn!
64'
Paco Alcácer has scored a goal for Barcelona!
GOAL! I told you it was coming but it's not Celta or Messi! Barcelona retake their lead with Paulinho poking an effort goalwards from close range, after the ball was drilled across the box. The question is whether the final touch actually came from Alcacer, who may have been in an offside position. It's a tough one to judge but I think he gets there!
62'
The introduction of Messi is unsurprising and always exciting but it's the entrance of Sergi Roberto that could be crucial, as he'll sit in the pocket behind the midfield and pick up any loose balls.
60'
Sergi Roberto enters the game and replaces André Gomes.
L. Messi enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
Edging towards the final half hour at Balaidos and the game still hangs in the balance. Here comes the big man.
Coutinho is the man who's replaced in the attack, which leads to the introduction of Messi.
Valverde issues a double change, with the other alteration seeing Andre Gomes, again poor, replaced by Sergi Roberto.
58'
There's another goal right around the corner, I can feel it. Barcelona are vulnerable, Celta are in the mood. Messi, meanwhile, is warming up on the sidelines.
56'
Iago Aspas gets yellow.
First booking of the game is issued to Aspas for his furious outburst at Yerry Mina, who was down in a heap off the field after clashing with the former Liverpool man.
55'
The home fans are screaming for a penalty as Maxi Gomez falls to the ground under pressure from Digne as the cross is floated towards the middle but it's clear there's not enough contact for a foul to be awarded.
53'
WASTED! It's another golden chance missed for Celta Vigo! Jozabed has acres of space to work with as he tries to curl a finish into the right hand corner but his angles are wrong and it's fired wide of the mark.
52'
SAVE! Denis Suarez has earned praise from me already this evening and he's emerged in the attacking third there, forcing a save from Alvarez with an improvised effort as he tumbles to the floor.
51'
Celta continue to look very dangerous on the counter but the attack comes to a close in comical circumstances, as Sisto goes sliding across the turf. It seems the staff have put a bit too much water on the field at the break!
49'
Digne back on the field and set for defensive duties, with Celta Vigo continuing to impress in possession.
47'
Decent start to the half, with Dembele showing skill down the right before Celta move the ball well down the opposite flank. There's a break in proceedings now as Digne receives treatment.
45'
Jonny has scored a goal for Celta Vigo! Assist by M. Gómez.
GOAL! There's the equaliser! Andre Gomes gives the ball away, putting the Barcelona defence under pressure, and he's made to pay. Aspas surges forward and plays the ball out wide to Gomez, who drives a ball across the face of goal where Jonny is there to tuck home.
Maxi Gomez has been guilty of missing some big chances tonight but he has stood out to impress me- and it leaves the game very delicately poised for the second half.
KICK-OFF! Back underway for the second half where Barcelona now attack to the right. Hopefully the action follows the flow of the high-tempo end to the first period!
44'
I've lost count of the amount of times Yerry Mina has been described as 'tall' this evening. Surely there's another adjective that can be used?
42'
Celta Vigo looking quite frustrated at the moment and the home fans are certainly not pleased, leading to the customary Spanish whistles in the stands. They'll certainly regret those missed opportunities but that ter Stegen save looks even more important now!
40'
What a ball. Coutinho twists and turns before clipping a ball over the top to his compatriot Paulinho and only a timely intervention from Sisto prevents the Brazilian from an easy finish.
36'
O. Dembélé has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by Paco Alcácer.
Slick, fluid play from Barcelona's front three this evening. They've looked isolated up until that point but this will hopefully spark the game into life.
GOAL! Barcelona take the lead! They've been poor so far but they've finally linked up in the final third. Coutinho picks up the ball, plays it to Alcacer and he taps the ball across to Dembele. The France international lets the ball bounce and fires into the bottom corner with his first touch. A superb finish!
34'
SAVE! Celta Vigo again prevented! The ball is teed off to Mendez by Maxi Gomez and he curls towards the top corner, only to be prevented by a superb diving save from ter Stegen.
33'
So disappointing from Barcelona so far tonight. Coutinho and Dembele, the two most expensive players on the field, have been passengers.
31'
There's so much room in the final third for Celta Vigo to exploit, an entire pocket of room in front of the defence and behind the midfield. It's a clear and obvious Sergio Busquets shaped hole.
29'
BLOCK! Celta Vigo are banging on the door! Barcelona are vulnerable without a ball winner in midfield and it's fed to Maxi Gomez, who lashes a shot at goal but sees his attempt blocked by the lunging Mina.
28'
Where did all that action come from?! We've not seen much at all this evening but both sides have just had massive opportunities to open the scoring, which they could come to regret if the game remains as cagey as this.
26'
WASTED! It's almost the perfect counter-attack from Celta Vigo, who hit Barcelona at speed and find Mendez with plenty of room. With the goal at his mercy, he curls wide of the post!
25'
OFF THE POST! Paulinho has just come inches away from netting the opening goal, as he rises to head a corner onto the left-hand post.
22'
How many of this Barcelona team will still be here next season? There's plenty of speculation surrounding the futures of Alcacer and Andre Gomes in particular, though neither have shown anything to suggest they'll be highly coveted.
20'
Wass, playing on the right side of defence this evening, has managed to threaten pushing forward on a number of occasions as Coutinho has no desire to track back and help out the back-line. It's encouraging the pressure and could be something to keep an eye on.
18'
It's strange to see this Barcelona side fail to impress this evening, as all of the players on the field are current internationals. The best player so far has been Denis Suarez, who is the least experienced with just one Spain cap.
16'
There really isn't too much to get excited about so far as Barcelona's second-string side are struggling to link-up, whilst Celta Vigo have been slow getting into the game.
14'
Certainly expected more from Celta Vigo in the early exchanges, as they need a victory to keep their hopes of securing Europa League football next season alive.
12'
A wasted opportunity for the hosts but it's a warning sign for Barcelona. It's been a strange match so far in a very quiet atmosphere which, added to the wealth of changes from Valverde, has left the game feeling like a pre-season friendly.
10'
SAVE! A slow start from Celta Vigo but they've moved the ball brilliantly to create a chance there. Denis Suarez concedes possession easily and it allows Aspas to find room down the left, before playing a superb driven cross into Maxi Gomez in the middle but his effort is saved by ter Stegen. It was fired straight at the Germany stopper!
8'
CLOSE! Best opening so far for Barcelona, with Denis Suarez once again involved as he latches onto Coutinho's pass before flashing a shot across the face of goal.
7'
Pretty much the start you'd expect here, with Barcelona dominating possession and Celta Vigo soaking up the pressure.
5'
WIDE! A brilliant run from Denis Suarez hands Barcelona a break and he feeds the ball out wide to Digne. His cross is whipped into the middle where Paulinho is lurking but the Brazil international can't hit the target with his header.
4'
Big night for Dembele ahead, as he seeks to prove himself, and he's shown his pace in the early exchanges down the right.
1'
KICK-OFF! We're underway at Balaidos, where Celta Vigo get us started.
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the LaLiga clash between Celta Vigo and Barcelona, where the visitors are looking to continue their march towards league glory and extend their remarkable unbeaten run.
Barcelona now boast a record-breaking 39 match unbeaten stint, with manager Ernesto Valverde yet to lose a LaLiga match since taking charge at Camp Nou- surpassing Pep Guardiola in the process. With six games left, the title is within their sights but they're not looking to take their foot off the gas yet.
Tonight's hosts Celta Vigo, meanwhile, are playing catch-up as they attempt to secure a spot for European qualification and enter tonight's clash five points behind sixth-placed Villarreal. A victory would hand the Galician outfit a major boost but it's unlikely given the opposition, although Roma showed last week anything is possible!
Celta Vigo XI: Sergio Alvarez; Daniel Wass, Facundo Roncaglia, Sergi Gomez, Jonny; Brais Mendez, Jozabed Sanchez, Stanislav Lobotka, Pione Sisto; Maxi Gomez, Iago Aspas.
Barcelona XI: Marc-Andre ter Stegen; Nelson Semedo, Yerry Mina, Thomas Vermaelen, Lucas Digne; Andre Gomes, Paulinho; Ousmane Dembele, Denis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho; Paco Alcacer.
Celta subs: Ruben Blanco, Emre Mor, Andreu Fontas, Lucas Boye, Nemanja Radoja, Gustavo Cabral, Robert Mazan.
Barcelona subs: Jasper Cillessen, Sergi Roberto, Samuel Umtiti, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Aleix Vidal.
Celta boss Juan Carlos Unzue makes three changes to the side defeated 1-0 by Leganes at the weekend, with both Hugo Mallo and Pablo Hernandez suspended, whilst Cabral drops to the bench. Roncaglia, Sanchez and Maxi Gomez take their places.
Valverde, meanwhile, completely overhauls his side following the 2-1 win over Valencia as only ter Stegen, Coutinho and Paulinho keep their spots. Messi, Suarez, Alba, Roberto and Umtiti all drop to the bench, with Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets not in the squad.
HALF-TIME! A slow start to say the least but we've certainly been rewarded for our patience. Ousmane Dembele gave Barcelona the lead with a superbly taken strike, his first LaLiga goal, but Jonny equalised with the last kick of the first half.
Celta were guilty of missing a number of decent opportunities before Barcelona took the lead, although they were unfortunate to find Marc-Andre ter Stegen in good form with his stunning save to deny Brais Mendez, but they got their deserved equaliser right before the whistle.
Barcelona quite clearly have half a mind on this weekend's Copa Del Rey final but you'd expect more from the players on the field, who have a chance of pushing their way into the side. So far, they've failed to do that but Dembele's brilliant finish could provide the France international with a significant confidence boost.
FULL TIME! I almost feel bad for criticising the opening exchanges as it ended up being a fantastic match. Ousmane Dembele's fine finish for his first LaLiga goal opened the scoring but Jonny equalised with the final kick of the first half. After the break, Paco Alcacer bundled home but Iago Aspas' rather fortuitous 20th goal of the season hands the hosts a point.
Celta Vigo move level on points with Girona and now sit four points off the European spots. They'll certainly feel that this was a missed opportunity though as there was a number of glorious opportunities that passed them by. The tough tests continue in the quest for Europa League football, with Valencia awaiting this weekend.
It was a tough slog for Barcelona but the Catalan giants have extended their unbeaten run to 40 games, edging ever closer to completing the entire league campaign without defeat for the first time in a 38-match season. A double is on the cards though, as Ernesto Valverde's side turn their attention towards this weekend's Copa Del Rey final in Madrid against Sevilla.
